Step 1: My System.
this is the tec specs of my laptop. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess the better it is the better it will run. I have about 1/8 seconds of video lag. It is not enough to effect gamplay or be noticeable on its own but if you have your system running on a TV and computer you can sort of see a very slight lag.
windows experience rating: 3.1.
Processor: Intel(R) Pentuim(R) Dual CPU T2370 @ 1.72 GHz 1.73GHz.
Memory(RAM): 3062 MB.
System Type" 32-bit operating system.
Step 2: What You Need.
Ok this is the long list of stuff you will need.
Step 3: Install.
Ok to start off you need to install the driver and studio software that is on the included disk. Follow all the instructions given to set up easycap the proceed to step 4.
Step 4: Setup.
So now that you have easycap and the included studio software installed its time to set up all the wires.
Step 5: Getting Ready to Get Your Game On.
Plug the usb cable in to your computer and plug speakers of head phones in to the 1/8 plug. Launch the included Ulead VideoStudio and slick on video studio editor. Well that is staring up turn your console on. Now back to Ulead VideoStudio click on the capture tab then click capture video. The preview scree should be blank. Click options then video and audio capture and property settings then click ok once that opens. Now the preview screen should not be blank.
Step 6: Getting Your Game On.
Ok so now you want to play. This is what you need to do.
Step 7: Graphics Comparisons.
Here are some Graphics comparisons. They are all lvl 12 jpegs which is the highest resolution you can get. What you see in these pics is what you'll see in game.
Step 8: Other Notes.
depending on your computer you may be able to get a better quality picture than me or not as whell. i can get an almost HD picture but then i have the problem of crazy lag. You have to play with it for a little to find the perfect balance between running smoothly and quality picture.

I recently moved out of and I don't have enough money for TV so I try this Solution and it worked fine, I been playing my xbox for few weeks now and I am satisfied with it. it easy to setup and need to compromise on quality part, there isn't any lag at all, you might wanna but SVideo to RCA converter for better quality.

Which software would enable me to play My PS3 on my laptop screen in a HD mode, which has a HDMI input on the side? Would it be: Studio software that is on the included disk or an EasyCap-Capture-Adapter-Editor-Software? Or a Clevox8100? And how would it be connected?

es ist mit 10000%iger sicherheit ein HDMI out auch wenn dort vllt. input steht.
HDMI in auf einem lappi gibts meines wissens gar nicht, das können wenn überhaupt nur sündhaft teuere professionelle videokarten.
Irgendwie fallen mir persönlich mehr Gründe für die Notwendigkeit von Eingängen ein als für Ausgänge.
Ich spielte z.B. mit dem Gedanken mir ein Laptop an zu schaffen.
Unter anderem um bei schönem Wetter gemütlich auf der Terasse zu sitzen und Formel 1 oder Fußball zu schauen.
Da ich ein SAT HDTV Receiver habe würde ich natürlich gerne per HDMI an den Laptop gehen.
Doch wenn es wirklich keine Geräte mit Eingängen gibt fällt diese Anwendung natürlich schon mal flach.
Kommt mir jetzt nicht mit DVBT und Werbe TV.
Klar werde ich mir trotzdem irgendwann ein Laptop zu legen aber so braucht man wieder noch ein Gerät zusätzlich.
Obwohl es doch technisch nicht so das Problem sein kann einen HDMI Eingang zu realisieren.

Play Xbox One on a laptop screen.
So I'm wondering if there's a way to output an Xbox One to my laptop's screen in order to play. I don't have an HDMI input (MacBook Pro), however I used to have an HD PVR 2 which took your HDMI signal and sent it over USB in order to record video (it would also display on the laptop screen).
I used it with a PS3 and it had about a 4 second delay on the laptop screen (but would pass through without delay to the TV). I was just wondering if anyone knew if this method would work without delay on the Xbox One (I'm pretty sure there was no delay with the 360) or not.
I don't want to run out and get another HD PVR if it's going to cause a delay, but if it works without delay that would be great. I haven't been able to find a definitive answer yet.

USB Webcam Support for Apps Like Skype on Xbox One.
Hey whatas up everyone? First time making a suggestion so let me try to sell it a bit. Well an "unkinected" Xbox One is on store shelves. Great move Microsoft offering consumers a choice in the matter! But Kinect is not yet sold as a standalone device! Therefore some apps(mainly Skype) have less value as these user with no Kinect cannot video chat obviously. Now, the clear course of action is to sell Kinect standalone, but Im certain people who bout this console variant do not want Kinect period! What if these users already have Skype ready alternatives they use on a regular basis? Would it make sense to buy Kinect just to do what any high end web cam today can do on Skype? No, even I as a heavy Kinect user personally feel my webcam outperforms Kinect as it captures more lightfor example, making me wholly viewable on just the glow of my display during late night calls. Kinect does not do that all that well so therefore the best course of action is to enable USB Webcams for use on Skype with Xbox One. That's my pitch. Need thoughts, good idea?

i think that the design should be light and small but keep the modern design. for the perforce must be a lest 1080 p by 1920 p and it must caputere 60 fps. made add a led light to it as well and have a stand that can be switched out so it can be claped or be mounted on a tripod.

Gears X1 didn't come with kinnect.
The kinect is too big and its ridiculous I have to spend that much money just to have a camera for streaming. The 360 had a standalone camera. Make it compatible or release a new one.
I up vote this as well, my kinect just hit the happy electronic heaven, and my one S is now without a camera, i tried my regular usb cam and was surprised it did not work, my friend uses his on his play station, so i thought hey i will try mine nope no go, as a xbox insider MS i would be happy to test this feature out bring it on.
Totally agree with this. I'm trying to stream Twitch on my Xbox One and want to use cam. I don't want a Kinect as i already have an expensive MICROSOFT webcam i use for my PC streams. It seems just silly they wouldn't add drivers to use webcams on your Xbox, at the VERY least their own webcams, haha. Streaming is a huge area of gaming and a cash cow for players who can then reinvest in the companies products with the money they earn and increase their own profit in other ways too. Microsoft is missing out by overlooking a seemingly simple fix.
Honestly just do the drivers for the ones that are sold at places like walmart, Target, and best buy. Xbox already supports a Logitech device so why not. if its about sales for official xbox cams just make it only work on skype and code reader. At least skype. why not make more people spend more time on the console. honestly this might bring 2 people online that other wise would have the console off. they talk and say hey lets both buy this game and play it together. Give that 3 months or so. they buy 2 more games. Boom "sales". Its just Im not gonna play kinect games. and I already have a nice Logitech HD Pro that would look awesome. Just port the logitech webcam controller app. It works with all of the logitech cams that have came out in the past few years. its a all in one deal. and we all win.
I cant believe this post has been up for two years now and only has 360 votes?! Oh well. Agreed. many of us who purchased the One S already have web cams. I personally do not want a Kinect to use for game play. I would however love to have voice interaction with Cortana, and video calling with Skype. It seems to me that a web cam would be perfect for this. The Kinect hardware is way to big and bulky and completely uneccessary, especially if MS is phasing It out. then give is some other options. This seems like a pretty simple "no brainer". Let's getter done!!

Microsoft should just make a bad *** Xbox one web cam. Put a price tag on it close to what the Kinect is. They could kill two birds with one stone. Possibly sell more kinects or make just as much money.
Unfortunately Microsoft cannot do this idea for 2 reasons, 1 reason is that the Xbox does not have the right hardware to install a USB Webcam driver. The second reason is that the Kinect sales would plummet and will not make as much money, I hope this helped.
You beat me to it man. I finally decided to get a gaming console (the one S!) I'll use it's apps far more than I'll game on it, and if love to be able to use Skype on it for my family.

I'm thinking about buying an Xbox one s, and a normal USB webcam and mic would be perfect just for Skype, buying the Xbox one Kinect with the adapter would be pointless and a waste of money as I'm not going to use the kinect games or features.
I would love to use my C910 it's a lot more discreet than a Kinect.

How many votes needed for Microsoft to consider this? Any one knows?
The system would be limited by the hardware, excluding certain features. Examle:No mic if hardware lacks such. BUT I dont see any reason why this should NOT be a feature. Good call on something I never thought of.
Xbox One users should be able to hook their cameras up to the Xbox to use for Skype or other video and microphone services. (For those who don't have Kinects).
