Xbox GamerTag Generator.
A GamerTag is a username for your Xbox Live account that other players can identify you with. It allows others to message you, see what games you are playing and track your statistics. There are some limitations to them though, such as, it can not be longer than 15 characters and once you have a GamerTag, it can only be changed by paying 800 Microsoft Points.
So you want a bad-ass or funny name for your GamerTag, but can not think of any cool names? Well this generator helps you get creative by giving you random adjectives that you can add suffixes and prefixes to. You can also add numbers, names, random words or letters to make the name unique.
Tip: Some examples of prefixes could be: Sgt., Mr., The, xX, General, Sargent and some suffixes could be: Gamer, Guy, Xx, and Killer.

How to create a Club on Xbox One or Windows 10 PC.
Clubs are a brand new way for Xbox gamers to connect across console and Windows 10. Using an Xbox Live Club, you can schedule group activities, have a shared feed for game clips and screenshots, make use of a group chat room and even showcase your Club's greatest content for all to see.
We're running our very own Windows Central Club, allowing you guys to connect with us, receive giveaways and much more. If you want to join the Windows Central Club, search for the Club in the community section on Xbox One or in the Clubs tab on the Windows 10 Store app.
Of course, if you would rather create your own Club, here are the steps you need to take!
For Xbox One users.
Navigate to the Community Tab to the right of the main dashboard. Select Clubs. Select Create a Club. Choose a Club Name. Note: Like Gamertags, Club names are unique and can only be used once.
Select your club's visibility:
Public Clubs can be viewed and joined by anyone. Private Clubs are searchable, but their content is available to members only. Hidden Clubs are only visible to those who have been invited.
Add additional information about the Club:
Description Background image Logo Descriptive tags You can also associate the Club with specific games . This is for the types of games your Club will play frequently. Your Club will appear in the associated title's Game Hubs.
You can edit the information at any time via the Club homepage by selecting Customize .
For PC users.
Navigate to the Windows 10 Xbox app , by typing "Xbox" into the Start Menu. In the left-side hamburger menu, select Clubs .
In the top right hand corner of the Clubs section, select Create a Club .
Select your club's visibility:
Public Clubs can be viewed and joined by anyone. Private Clubs are searchable, but their content is available to members only. Hidden Clubs are only visible to those who have been invited. Choose a Club Name. Note: Like Gamertags, Club names are unique and can only be used once.

Xbox's new Clubs feature has huge potential to engage gamers from across the console / PC divide. It feeds into the company's Xbox Play Anywhere strategy, which sees more and more co-operative games become functional across platforms.
Clubs could also help limit pressure on developers to build these sorts of features directly into their games, many of which rely on third-party websites or tools as present. Clubs and Looking For Group should also drive up engagement for Game Hubs as well, which are a dedicated space for developers to communicate directly with their fans. Xbox Live is getting a whole lot more social.
Xbox Clubs are rolling out in waves to Xbox One owners and the Windows 10 Store Xbox app, feel free to apply to join the Windows Central Club!
Xbox One system settings.
This page describes the system settings on your Xbox One console. To access the system settings, navigate left on the Home screen to open the Xbox Guide, select Settings , and then select All settings.
System settings.
Console info and updates.
Here you can find information you’ll need to register and troubleshoot your console, including the serial number, console ID, OS version, Xbox Live device ID, copyright information, and more.
This button allows you to set the device name, which will identify your console when there are multiple Xbox One consoles on the same network.
This area allows you to view when your console last checked for an update, and when the last update was installed.
Restore factory defaults.
This option erases all accounts, apps, games, saved games (that haven’t been synced to the cloud), and settings, and then restarts the console.
Important This option should be used rarely and should not be considered a troubleshooting step.
Language and location.
The language and location settings allow you to change the language display information of your console. If you move to a different time zone or region, you should update your console settings here.
This setting controls the display language of your console. Some games and apps will also detect this setting and adjust their display language accordingly.
This setting controls your console region, including the region for Microsoft Store content.
The spoken language setting determines the language that will be used for voice commands.
Here, you can set the time zone for your console.
This setting identifies the time zone to which your console is currently set.
Automatically adjust for Daylight Saving.
You can choose to have the console clock change automatically with Daylight Saving Time.
The system time settings are inaccessible (and will appear grayed out) while you're connected to Xbox Live. During those times, your console uses “net time,” which is automatically pulled from time servers online. The two time settings you can change when you’re not connected to Xbox Live are Time and Date .
Clear local saved games.
This will clear out saved games from the console. This can be helpful if a game fails to launch because of a corrupted save.
Clear local Xbox 360 storage.
This will clear out saved Xbox 360 games and your profile from the console. This can be helpful if a game fails to launch due to a corrupted save.
Note You'll need to download your Xbox 360 profile again after using this.
The tiles on the right represent the storage devices attached to your console. Highlight a device and then press A to see a menu of options.

How to enable VPN on Xbox One or Xbox 360.
Streaming American Netflix on your Xbox from UK can be such a cool experience. In order to do that you have to use Smart DNS proxies or VPN . Unfortunately, Xbox devices do not have VPN clients . Therefore, you cannot directly set up VPN on them. There are two methods, however, which will allow you to indirectly enable VPN on your Xbox One/360. Once you implement any of these two methods, you will be able to stream US Netflix or any other American streaming channels on your Xbox console.

Minecraft usernames.
If you log into Minecraft with your email, your username can be found in your account overview.
If you somehow made a purchase but didn't get a username, a green box will appear on your Mojang profile prompting you to choose a username.
If the username you want is taken, you will need to choose another name. We will unfortunately not be able to help you get an already taken username.
Requirements: Needs to consist of 3-16 characters No spaces Allowed characters: A-Z (upper and lower case) 0-9 Only allowed special character is _ (underscore) It is no longer possible to create a username with less than three characters.
Changing a username.
Users who have a Mojang account (you sign in with your email) can change their username for free at account.mojang.com/me by clicking the (Change) link next to your profile name. After clicking the change link, you'll be able to see if a username is available to you. If it shows that it is not available, you will not be able to change to that name.
If you've changed your username already, you'll need to wait 30 days to be able to make another change.
Username changes can be fully supported in-game as of Minecraft version 1.7.10 (released June 2014). If you were to play on a very old version of Minecraft, the game would treat your new username as a separate player. This article assumes that you are using a somewhat recent version of the game or server software.
Yes, and the same is true for whitelisted, or OP'd players. Account-level features on an unmodified server stay the same because the system is using your profile's unique ID instead of the username. This does not include the scoreboard feature, which uses usernames, and is not meant to store lots of long-term player data.
Yes. Username changes are set up so that you can get a username that you prefer, and are not designed to circumvent bans or anything of that sort.
Ask the mod maker or server owner, as they'll know. Mods should be able to support this system, and most already do, but we aren't responsible for private servers or mods.
No. The system is set up so that users can change their usernames. If you don't like your username, you can change it again in 30 days. Neither will we help you get a username that is already taken nor a name with less than three characters.
Mojang has always had a pretty relaxed stance on usernames. Someone who chooses an inappropriate username is often banned by the servers that they join. Even though username changes are now a feature, people have been able to register questionably appropriate usernames since 2009, and the community has self-regulated. Implementing a comprehensive username filter is quite difficult, and doing so would diminish the openness that has made the game so popular. We would prefer not to have players constantly reporting each other via this help site; instead, please contact your server administrator. That said, we reserve the right to change particularly offensive names to something more cheerful, as needed.

Customizable System Sounds.
Allow for the ability to customize sounds for several aspects of the X1, from start up, to disk eject/insert, controller on/of, log in, app open/close etc.
Have a page within settings where you can set a soundbyte to several of these situations, then include a checkbox that you can turn it on or off at the click of a button.
Make SOME of these sounds unlock-able with achievements/challenges.
I.e. When a person logs in "Welcome back pilot, I have kept the seat warm for you", Turning the system on. "Standby for Titanfall" (Perhaps even make the startup profile log in screen slam down like a Titanfall for this one), When turning on/off the controller "Transferring control to pilot"/"Guard mode engaged" etc etc, you get the idea.

I just want mine to burp when I turn it on and fart when I turn it off.
I don't think it's too much to ask.
Need custom sounds! I got a new S model and my old call of duty had better ones.
Make this happen.
For people wanting to turn-off the start-up sounds. YOU CAN. Go into the full "Settings" and look for it. you'll find it!
MS will not let anyone put their own custom sounds on the console for start-up/shutdown/disc-eject, etc. as some people would inevitably put inappropriate sounds/language on it and sell their console and someone would end-up hearing it.
They COULD offer to sell custom console sound packages people could enable on their console (assuming this option could be added to current consoles via firmware/software updates). You might try pitching my suggestion instead of the "making your own sounds" idea. as MS would benefit from doing it the way I suggest.
When turning on the Xbox it would be nice to hear it say Welcome (gamertag) or your Name or even a custom sound from a game .
this is a basic basic basic basic option that should have already been available. the fact that it isn't and also hasn't been updated already with all the backlash posted is a major disappointment to say the least.
i would love this.
This would be an amazing feature. If it isn't possible, at least give us the ability to disable or adjust the volume the startup/shutdown sounds especially for the limited edition consoles (like Forza, Halo, etc.).
i used to have day one xbox one but then i upgraded to the 1 tb xbox one but when i turn it on BRURM( forza 6 xbox one) as loud a my laptop playing can music . is this going to change the startup sound i dont like it and never people at 5:00 in the morning. wood rely like to make my xbox one make the nose on the day one xbox on.
Or turn console sounds off. Or even let us adjust their volume. Since the Cortana update my forza x1revs even when I use the controller to turn it on. Mine used to do it only when you used the console button itself. Now there's no way to avoid that noise. Please help. I can't play it in certain rooms or at certain times now because you can't turn that noise off!
It would be so damn awesome to purchase & customize your X1 start up sound! As much as I wanted the Limited Edition Forza, I was already a owner of one. Needless to say, pretty jealous! Make this idea a reality, Lots would agree, excluding the 721 that already have, that it's the small things that make your X1 YOUR X1.
the xbox key tone are boring make it sound like the PlayStation 4's key tones where the sounds are more addicting.
Like the Limited Edition consoles, such as the Halo ones which have different sounds when you press the power button to turn on/off the console, it would be great to have custom ones (rather than always have the generic one) that play from the console itself.
I'm not sure if the way it works would make this possible at all.
It will be awesome. I'll paid for it, for sure.
Since starting and restarting Xbox one can take time, Microsoft should add either some elevator music or my personal favorite, The Sonic the Hedgehog theme song while you Xbox loads. Anyone else who agrees should vote or post your own music ideas as well as vote.
I'm planning on picking up a Forza system a friends is giving me and I'm not exactly a racing fan. this WOULD be very helpful to me.
Even if you could just turn off the noise entirely. I have a new baby that I'd like to not wake up every time I want to play.
Downloadable power on sounds for the Xbox one like customizing the sound the Xbox makes when you turn it on Like lightsabers, engines, mortars and other cool sounds.
I have the Forza 6 bundle xbox one and every time I turn on/off/disk eject my xbox it makes car noises. I would just like the option to have the standard on/off/disk eject jingle and not have to feel like a child every time I turn on my (beautiful navy blue) xbox one.
