Developer 34BigThings announced way back in 2015 that its high-speed, hyper-futuristic racing game Redout would be coming to PS4 and Xbox One. Today, it finally revealed the console version's release date.
Redout is getting a retail release on PS4 and Xbox One that'll launch on August 29 in the United States and August 31 in Europe. Redout: Lightspeed Edition bundles together the original PC release and two DLC packs, and it also includes a new split-screen mode. All together, the Lightspeed Edition features 30 tracks for players to race on.
The Lightspeed Edition will cost $40 (£30 in the UK). In addition to the DLC and split-screen mode, the console versions include an exclusive paint job for your ships. Publisher 505 Games also released a new trailer for the game today, which you can see above.
Redout is heavily inspired by games like Wipeout and F-Zero, and it's been available on PC since September 2016. 34BigThings is also bringing the game to Nintendo Switch on July 25 for $40.

Fun! Much better than the earlier reviewers said.
I was a little nervous based on the flaws that earlier reviews called out, but from what I've played so far this is fun and a good workout. Not sure what the other reviewers were talking about - you can skip the replays easily and the controls seem accurate enough for decent gameplay (on par with other Kinect games.) There was one glitch but I was able to get past it using the games skip-ahead feature. Overall I had a good time and look forward to playing more!
I would recommend this to a friend.
Worst game.
This game wasn't even fun to begin with. To get into the gameplay, you have to go through a whole mess of options. That's bad enough, but in the game, it's another story. The controls are just stupid! If you stop, your character keeps running. Then once you fall of the course, it goes into a replay. Which gets annoying after awhile. Because you don't need to see your fail over and over. You already saw it. My family couldn't even play this for 30mins. It drove us all insane. This game was so annoying, I even took the time to write this. So basically, do NOT get this game. There are many other games you could get. Just don't get this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
Lots of fun.. enjoy the workout and the laugh.
We played this for the first time this weekend.. I never laughed so hard , or got a better workout.. If you take the time to do a practice session you may enjoy this so much more. 5 of us played and even though we were not the best.. WE enjoyed this game so much we cannot wait to play it more..
I would recommend this to a friend.
Great Game.
This is a great game. Just like the one on TV. Incredible graphics, and many easy and difficult situations. I gave it 5 stars.
I would recommend this to a friend.
4 yr Old Loves the Show & Loves the Game.
We have 2 kids playing kinect - 2 yr old and 4 yr old. With the Texas summer heat, we love that the kids can engage in some activity inside and away from the 105 degree heat! Both of the girls love the show and when we saw the game was available for our kinect, we had to have it. The girls (mainly the 4 yr old) have been playing kinect for about 4 months now. Games such as Kinect Sports, Dance Central, Kinectimals, & Kinect Adventures. They got into this one right off the bat. No issues as noted by some reviewers. For those stating that they can't seem to get the thing to work for them, too sensitive, not accurate body movements. COME ON. Where's your coordination? Perhaps you should just sell the kinect and get back to your controller driven games. As for the multiple replay "feature". I love it! If you don't, then select the "skip" button in the lower RH part of the screen and get back to playing. Personally, I like the break to catch my breath and laugh at myself before I'm back on the course. We highly recommend it.
I would recommend this to a friend.
IMPOSSIBLE.
I recently purchased the game from Best Buy and I am extremely disapointed. The game is fun but it is impossible because they expect you to get a time of a minute and forty-five seconds, but it costs you 60 seconds to skip a section, unlike the TV show, and you almost always have to skip a section and spend at least another minute on the rest of the course. The succer punch is also very disapointing because it is almost impossible to dodge the "fists" and if you get hit in the hand, you fall of. Because of this all, I am not even able to get past the first level. I recommend that you do not buy this game unless you want to be disapointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
Fun game, get when cheaper.
Me and my friends had a blast playing this game. Heck, i even got my dad to play and the only game he ever plays is wii bowling. Lol I would reccommend this to anybody, its fun for all ages. Levels r challenging, but fun, if u get irritated easily or impatient, dont get this game lol But everyone else should get this, i got when i had a gift card, so it was worth the price. If i were u, i would get this game now, cuz of the BOGO deal right now, or wait until the game is cheaper.
I would recommend this to a friend.
More challenging than expected!
We bought this game as a gift for our son's eighth birthday! He loves it, and we are having fun too.
Как восстановить заводские настройки по умолчанию на консоли Xbox One.

A psychological horror film about a man slowly losing his mind inside of a labyrinthian sanitarium, the marketing and promotional materials for A Cure for Wellness have been almost entirely composed of vague, unusual images and music meant to lure viewers into seeing the whole film - in the hopes of learning the startling truth behind those scenes.

Morning Toast.
I used to be a Playstation gamer. The PS1 and PS2 days were a good times for gaming. Sony ruled the roost and never looked back. We all know that changed when the Xbox 360 and then PS3 was released. The PS3 had everything going for it – except a decent price. All but hardest core gamer just wouldn’t pony up the bucks, making access the Sony-exclusive library a pipe dream for gamers like me.
Leaving old friends behind.
If you own a PS3, I’m going to guess you probably use the build-in Blu-Ray DVD player more than you use the console to play actual games. The number of retail-worthy games on the PS3 is limited pretty much to Sony exclusives. It sounds like a play from the Nintendo Handbook. First-party games are great, but they won’t carry a console very far. You may point at the Wii as the exception to that rule, but I’ll argue that the games did very little to make that console a success. But I digress…
This is Wipeout HD. Pure beauty. Pure speed.
When the PS3 became the current gen leaving the PS2 behind, I lost access to several of my favorite Sony-exclusive titles. One being Metal Gear , the other being Wipeout . Really? Wipeout? Yes, Wipeout. I love me some arcade racing and Wipeout delivered that to a tee. Wipeout was beautiful, fast, fun…it fired on all cylinders. With the PS3, Sony released Wipeout HD, by far the best looking interation of the game yet (and why shouldn’t it be?).
Make sure you watch that video in 720p.
I sat drooling over Wipeout and Metal Gear knowing I’d never play them regularly. The Xbox 360 is my console of choice, even though I swore the Wii would be awesome (and it was for about nine months). While the Xbox 360 has less power than the PS3, I’m always reading that Xbox games look and perform better than PS3 games. How can this be? My assumption has always been that game makers build games for the 360 console then just port them to PS3. This means that unless the game is a Sony-exclusive, it’s not really being made to take advantage of the PS3 hardware. But even with less power, the 360 is certainly capable of a Wipeout-like game, right?
Is space racing that uncool?
I looked and looked. Apparently spaceship racing games aren’t quite the draw they used to be (if they ever were) and so you won’t find any on the shelves. I was bummed. Knowing I’d never play the real Wipeout on the 360, I had to settle for clone, but there weren’t even any of those to play! Then when I was grabbing links and screen shots for my review of MotorHEAT , I saw an Indie game that was a no-excuses Wipeout clone – Antigrav Championship Racing.
Despite the lame name, Antigrav Championship Racing (ACR) does really well and bringing Wipeout fun to the Xbox 360. Being an Indie game it’s not quite a polished or as fine tuned as Wipeout, naturally, but that’s okay because for one, it’s the first Wipeout I’ve seen on the 360, and two, it’s a Indie game…and it’s a $3 Indie game . Yes, another $3 game that puts a lot of gameplay in your library.
It’s not Wipeout, but close.
For the price of admission, ACR brings you dozens of tracks and a good selection of racers. For the most part the tracks are well designed and a lot of fun to play. The graphics are crisp and sharp despite not being able to pump out the power of the original Sony title. I can appreciate an developer that is not ashamed to clone one of their favorite games, and I’ll gladly give them my money.
This is ACR. Clearly not Wipeout, but close enough.
You feel kind of bad picking on Indie games that only set you back $3 , but because I love Wipeout-style games so much, I feel I have to point some things out. But remember, it’s a $3 game and one you should buy. Period. You get a lot of game for the price, but you will notice the following things that stop it from being a $5 or even $10 game.
The collisions and crash handling is pretty bad. The camera goes crazy, you experience clipping problems, and things just behaves poorly. So the lesson, don’t run in to anything! There’s not always a reaction for every action. Your spaceships come with air brakes and other things but activating them doesn’t trigger any visual response from your racer. The buttons are working fine but sometimes it’s hard to tell if you crashed because you didn’t use your brakes or if you over-braked. No on-line play. Having only a few Indie games, I’m not sure how standard Xbox Live play is for these games, if at all, but having on-line play would be freaking sweet. No local multiplayer. I can forgive on-line play if I had a local 2-player option. However, seeing how the 360 sometimes chokes on graphics during a single player track makes me think it wouldn’t be able to handle two at once. The menus are slow. They’re also not designed well, but I can let that slide. The time between pressing the button to continue and getting a response on screen is way too long, several seconds, so you end up pressing the button a couple more times. There’s just not a lot to say about the interface. The music is so-so. The game comes with your standard issue techno racing music, but you can do without it. I turned mine off and just played my own music while racing. Much better. Where are the guns? Wipeout isn’t all about shooting your opponents, but some limited power-ups to spice things up would have been nice.
Worth every penny until we someone does it better.
Again, keep in mind this game is only $3, so a lot those problems can be forgiven. BUT, if some of these things would have been minded then this title could have easily been a $5, $10 or even $15 game without anyone bitching. If nothing else, ACR tells me that one of the big boys needs to step up and make a Wipeout-clone with a budget. Make use of XBL and sell it for $15 and people will play. I look at Battlefield: 1943 as an example, it will work (I know FPS games are slightly more popular than space racing, but still).
Antigrav Championship Racing.
But until that day comes, Antigrav Championship Racing might be the best we get, which is nothing to sneeze at, especially for $3. If you’re like me and love some good arcade racing and loved Sony’s Wipeout, ACR is a definite buy. Lots of game, not a lot of bills.
And if the PS3 hadn’t been so expensive and the Xbox 360 not such a hot console, I would have bought a PS3 just for Wipeout and Metal Gear alone. But thank goodness I didn’t.
check out the blur demo for 360. def not wipeout but seems pretty fun.
I’m a WipEout fan too, but that game (antigrav chamionship racing) is not available in the EU. That makes 0 WipEout alternatives for me :(
Don’t feel too bad, Stefan. I played a lot of this Antigrav Racing for a couple weekends, but then it got pretty boring. There’s just not enough to keep you interested without multiplayer and no weapons…but I guess for $3 it was a good weekend time killer.
I think Sega All Star Racing could be a good alternative to a Wipeout-like game. Although it is slower and childish and a Mario Kart clone. :)
Wipeout Omega Collection – XboxOne.
Sublime enough to make you forget this has its roots in a brace of PSP games that are over a decade old. WipEout Pure and Pulse laid the groundwork for WipEout HD, of which this an ostensibly a remake with content from 2012’s 2048 remastered and bundled in. In total that’s some 26 tracks, 46 ships and nine game modes. All of which adds up to a fair amount of WipEout.
The refit is enough to cover those roots up, too. The textures have been remade for circuits and ships, the poly count has been upped significantly and there’s a new level of detail that’s been layered in. Ships bear marks and scratches, while track surfaces have a tangible feel of smoothed concrete and brushed steel. It’s a remarkable looking game, and as good an advert for 4K gaming as anything else out there on the PlayStation 4 Pro.
With Studio Liverpool no more, who exactly is behind this new WipEout? XDev, Sony’s internal unit that works with independent studios – and is in the same building where Studio Liverpool once lived – is collaborating with developers Clever Beans and EPOS for WipEout Omega. The former studio, situated in Manchester, even contains a handful of ex-Studio Liverpool devs.
Studio Liverpool’s work provides the foundation, of course, and the developer hinted before its closure that it was working on bringing the tracks of the Vita version into HD. “We had access to archives, and we’ve got the 2048 game in there,” explains XDev producer Mark O’Connor. “That’s going to give us the biggest bang for buck – it was on the Vita, it looked great on there but having it on a TV like this…”
