I like the style & variety of Worms overall, W.M.D takes away the dissatisfaction present in certain games The perfect skill cap makes it enjoyable for both pros and rookies. I see why the 90's kids loved Worms: Armageddon. Sadly I can't share the experience with anyone online. The new matchmaking system is too split up and segregated, making it impossible to find a group of people. Only in 1v1 quick match and ranked can a game be found, and that strips all the variety I praised away. The system Worms Battlegrounds had was better. To make matters worse, I fell victim to the one bug, that has plagued all platforms since day one, that Team17 refuses to fix, the crashing bug. No amount of reinstalling, power cycling, or save data wiping can fix it. An amazing game, ruined by neglect. Update, I removed a star. Team17 had the nerve to say that the crash bug was fixed. It would be a great game if I could get through a round without it just randomly stopping and not initiating the next turn. Every round ends with me having to either restart or end as the timer just sits at 0 with nothing happening, both teams still alive. Buggy, dull game. I loved WWP, Mayhem, but this game is definetly not worth the money. Boring and dull campaign, lots of camera issues, bugs related to hitting invisible stuff, ranking system and achievement for grinding ranked matches for 90+ hours ? Computer A.I. are absolutely worthless, in most cases during campaign they have absolutely no problem throwing a grenade from across the map for it to bounce 6 times in various obstacles and still hit you right in the face, and sometimes same A.I. can shoot a bazooka right into a wall with you being not even near. They also have unlimited supplies of Bunker Buster (or whatever it's called), which means you cannot hide anywhere. Although hand-drawn graphics are pretty OK, explosions and maps look pretty nice. But that is all. I spent 11 Eur for this game but it's actual value should be 3 - 4 Eur.
