The last game was the same exact thing as 2k15 just with a couple new things. Now this game is way different! It feels way more realistic, and it has a little more freedom with crowd fighting, and backstage brawls. It has an amazing creation suite that contains create a superstar, entrance, video, championship, arena, show, and even create a victory. The only flaw about this game to me is the my carrer mode. Great game but. WWE 2K17 is a good, fun game, with countless Superstars and moves. However, it has countless bugs and problems as well. But since I only have 1,000 characters, I'll only address two. The first bug is shown in myCareer, and this bug technically ruins it. I had a match against AJ Styles at the Royal Rumble PPV. I won the match, and then my entrance music played, but my screen went black. I waited a good 15-20 mins, but the screen was still black. I then closed the game, reopened it, and won the match again. The screen went black again. I waited, repeated the same process on several different occasions and got the same outcome. I then realized that the only way for me to advance to my next match is to lose my current match, which is something I don't want to do. This bug should be immediately fixed as it has stopped me from playing myCareer. The lack of a showcase really hurts replayability, but you earn points to buy unlockables in all game types which helps. On to my favorite part, downloading creations. Great stuff in there, but why block people from downloading or even previewing stuff just case I haven't purchased a specific unlockable? So be aware the game crashes and clears content. I've been addicted to it since it's debut in 05 so naturally that's my complaint in 15 and 16 and now this game the online is basically unplayable because 2k decided to switch to matchmaking. It would be fine if we could see how many people are currently searching for whatever match type but no instead we get to sit in pratice lobbies forever wondering if anyone is even on the game. The animation and pacing flows the same like TV. Not to mention, a huge roster of male and female wrestlers from the past and present. Stars from the Golden Age, Attitude Era, WCW, and the NXT Era. You do not actually need to play MyCareer or Universe mode to get a good amount of VC. If you want to get a good amount of VC from Exhibition matches, perform different types of moves during matches, like submissions, dives, using tools, etc. Let your opponent pin you down and then get back up. Perform counter-attacks, signature moves, and finishers/OMG finishers. Basically, make the fight as exciting as possible to get as much VC as possible from the match. Just be careful not to repeat things more than required. Combine a lot of different things together, perform crazy moves, and you should get a 5-star rating for the match and a good amount of VC. The submission process has two phases. You first need to make sure your opponent does not have much stamina available. The lower you can take it, the better chance you have for a successful submission. One of the quickest ways to deplete your opponent's stamina is by using Rest Hold. To perform Rest Hold, you can either grab your opponent from behind or grab him or her once and then press [Grab] again. Once you have successfully executed that, try to weaken one of his or her limbs and work towards the submission. Going with multiple submissions can drastically damage the limb and make the submission easier. Also, keep the submission stats of your wrestlers in mind. There are wrestlers that have submissions as their finishing moves as well, which makes forcing a submission much easier. Easy "Control Freak" achievement. Play an entire card in WWE Universe mode from beginning to end with no simulation to get the "Control Freak" achievement. To easily do this, simply play the mic mini-game, then leave the ring, grab a chair, and get DQed in all the matches.
