What I miss sometimes are the different variations when it comes to tag-team matches and the possibility of giving a different entrance to a superstar that does not actually belong to an other.
All the new animations are also welcome. I like it, when after a long match, the winner leans over the ropes to show, it took almost all of his power to defeat his opponent.

I waited almost a year to buy this game on the account of several reviews that I read. Now that I got it I could see why his game is so disappointing. I cannot believe how bad the mechanics are and the graphics look dated at best. I would not recommend this to an enemy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This game is kind of lame and i almost wish i didnt buy it.

Fun game not but could be better.
If you're new to wwe games you will find this game entertaining. But if you played WWE 2k14 you maybe a little disappointed. One the controls are a little more complicated, Its seems a bit more slow. Lacks modes and matches. The graphics are good though. Keep in mind to get all the wrestlers you have to buy the dlc. Overall I think this game is ok!
I would recommend this to a friend.
Please try again later.
Great graphics, smooth gameplay, new career mode.
Having purchased this game on release day, It is the best wwe game to date. With a great updated roster and new career mode, the game never gets boring.
I would recommend this to a friend.

Pro Wrestling Gets 'Real'
Graphics 4, Sound 4, Gameplay 4, Multiplayer 4, Final Score 4. Good, Solid Package But The Character Creation Suite Is Not As Robust As In The Past (Especially The Divas).
I would recommend this to a friend.

Cool game with frustrating controls.
I grew up watching wrestling and was looking forward to playing this with my son. We love the graphics and the option of wrestlers. Gave this a 3 because the controls are very hard to work and the delay in getting the player to wrestle. You will definitely have to work hard to master this one. The many different options to wrestle are awesome and fun to play - wrestle mania and the cage matches are cool!
I would recommend this to a friend.
Please try again later.
Where did the features go?
I won't even address gameplay (which I found horrid), because the limited CAW mode should be enough to let you know that this is a game in progress that's not ready for mass consumption. There is no creating female characters at all. The males are limited to a few hairstyles, facial hair, outfits, tattoos etc. Seems like less than a quarter of what was available in previous years. I wasted time creating a generic, lifeless wrestler only to play a 5 minute match, realize the game was unplayable and go back to 2k14. It looks gorgeous, but that doesn't make it fun in any way.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
Please try again later.
No need to get too deep into it.
I like games like this because it doesn't take a day and a half to get started. It's nice to have a title that I can just sit down and play real-quick to kill some time.
WWE 2K15: First In-Game Shots of Randy Orton Ready to Strike on PS4 and Xbox One -- IGN First.
Earlier this week we got our very first glimpse of what WWE 2K15 is going to look like on current-gen hardware, and it sure was pretty. At least, about as pretty as John Cena grimacing in anger can be. I was pretty sure I spied Orton-butt in that picture, and lo and behold, that has been officially confirmed today with two screens of Orton in ring, ready to face off with John Cena.
"I'm even pretty when I'm angry."
It's pretty much the reverse shot of the Cena image. Also much like the Cena image, the detail is a huge step up from what we saw in 2K14 on last-gen hardware. For good measure, we get one more of Orton being the arrogant show-off that he is:
Either way, it's exciting to see WWE 2K15 getting the current-gen, Visual Concepts treatment. Hopefully it looks just as good in motion when I play it, which should be very soon. Be sure to check back on Monday and Tuesday for more on WWE 2K15. In the meantime, head down to the comments and let us know what you think of Orton's look.

5 highlights from 'WWE 2K15' for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
on November 17, 2014 at 10:46 AM.
CLEVELAND, Ohio – "WWE 2K15" hits stores at midnight Monday, with multiple versions designed specifically for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One systems.
Fans more advanced graphics, an updated superstar roster and various game modes. You can also set up different match types (Hell in a Cell, ladder match, casket match, etc.) between superstars young and old. Haven't you always wanted to see Sting take on the Undertaker?
Here are five more reasons why "WWE 2K15" is a must-have:
In terms of customization, it doesn't get any better than "WWE 2K15's" Creation Studio, where players can customize their own character based on body type, facial expressions, tattoos, clothes and more. You can even create a character based on your own likeness.
Taking a page from "NBA 2K15," "WWE 2K15" features a career mode that allows gamers to follow their custom superstars from the early stages of NXT all the way to the WWE Hall of Fame. The mode is exclusive the Next Gen systems.
It's not surprising that iconic WCW superstar Sting has been a huge part of the marketing for "WWE 2K15." He is easily the biggest wrestler who has never stepped foot in a WWE ring. You can now change that (in the fictional sense) with "WWE 2K15." Fans who pre-ordered the game gain access to two bonus versions of Sting – The "Crow"-inspired version and the old-school surfer Sting.
Just about every game WWE has put out over the years has featured an historical mode. But "2K15" has a more specific focus. Fans get documentary-like access to more recent feuds involving characters like CM Punk (Yes, he's in the game) and John Cena. The game will also highlight feuds from WWE's extremely popular Attitude Era of the late 1990s/early 2000s, focused on the matches of Tripe H and Shawn Michaels.
For better or worse, the WWE let its top superstar John Cena choose the music for this year's game. That means a lot of hip-hop with artists like Flo Rida, Big Smo and B.o.B. There are even two tracks from hip-hop star Wiz Khalifa that feature John Cena on the mic. In-game bonus tracks include music from Rise Against, Avenged Sevenfold and Florida Georgia Line.

Easy "Big Four" achievement.
Throughout your career, you will get the chance to participate in all four of the main PPV shows. You only need to participate in each of these PPVs and do not need to win the matches. You are only allowed to choose three PPVs to take part in each year. Survivor Series will be available from the start, but SummerSlam and Royal Rumble will not be available until your fourth year. WrestleMania will become available during your fifth year.
Easy "Change The Tides" achievement.
A hot tag is similar to the Desperation Pin; you must have very low stamina and be knocked down, either by performing a move or getting one done on you. When trying to get up, you will begin crawling. Crawl to your tag team partner to get a prompt to press a button for a "hot tag". You must then successfully complete the short QTE event after you tag your partner.
Easy "Discovering The Universe" and "Storm Out" achievements.
You must win 180 rivalry matches in WWE Universe mode. You will also get the "Discovering The Universe" achievement for winning 50 matches in WWE Universe mode. When you go to "Play Matches" in Universe mode, you will see the card. It will list what type of matches they are. You should have one or more that are Rivalry matches. Select and play that match, and choose one of the wrestlers. Win 180 of those matches to get the "Storm Out" achievement.
Easy "Everybody Wins!" achievement.
There are more than 50 Superstars available. Go through the list and play a 1-on-1 match with each one, on the Easy difficulty and momentum set to fast. Also, choose Extreme Rules to use weapons to progress quicker.
Easy "King Of Swing" achievement.
Play as Cesaro in Exhibition mode. Build up a finisher, and knock your opponent on the ground. Approach their legs, and the OMG! Moment should become available. Press the appropriate button while they are on the ground to perform the giant swing and get the "King Of Swing" achievement.
Easy "Match Maker" achievement.
There are more than 25 different match types available. You have to play 20 different match types and win each one to get the "Match Maker" achievement. The following is a list of all the different types of match variations:
1-on-1: Normal, Extreme Rules, Falls Count Anywhere, Iron Man, Last Man Standing, No Holds Barred, Steel Cage, Submission, Hell In A Cell, Table, TLC 4-Man: Tag Team, Fatal 4-Way, Elimination Tag, Fatal 4-Way Extreme Rules 6-Man: Tag Team, Ladder, Battle Royal, Elimination Tag, Hell In A Cell, Elimination Chamber Triple Threat: Normal, Extreme Rules, Hell In A Cell.
There are also the Royal Rumble, three different types of tournaments, and title matches.
Choose a stipulation (steel cage, TLC, tables, etc.) match. Perform two signature moves and two finishers, and win the match to get at least 1,000 points and the "Now That Was A Match!" achievement. It also helps to use a lot of finishers and get OMG! Moments in the match.
Easy "One Foot In The Grave" achievement.
Select a 1-on-1 match. Beat down your opponent, and knock them to the ground. Pick them up so they are in a groggy state. You should be prompted to do a pin using the Right Analog-stick. Either tap it Up or Down to do a leverage pin. Get a three count with the leverage pin to get the "One Foot In The Grave" achievement.
Easy "Ringmaster" achievement.
There are three different Chain Holds you can win with by pressing either X, Y, or B to grapple your opponent at the start of the match to initiate a chain hold. Choose either one and win, then strike or wrench your opponent using X or A. Win the struggle, move them into the next position, then wrench or strike them again. Release the hold by pressing LB, and grapple again. This time, try to win a different chain hold. Keep grappling with your opponent and repeating the process until you get the "Ringmaster" achievement. This may require a few attempts. Note: You can always Chain Hold as long as your stamina or your opponent's stamina bar does not get lower than the first bar. You can go outside and wait until you and your opponent's stamina bar refill before trying again.
Easy "Road To WrestleMania" achievement.
Instead of playing the entire way to WrestleMania, simulate all the matches up until WrestleMania. Play the main event as the winner for the Royal Rumble. You do not need to play in the Royal Rumble; just select the winner from it. Set the difficulty to Easy and momentum to fast to make it easier and quicker. Win the match to get the "Road To WrestleMania" achievement.
Easy "That's Justice" achievement.
Play in a 6-Man tag match. Choose Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose for your team. Get Roman Reigns' finisher, and knock your opponent on the ground. Go to his head, and the OMG! Moment will become available. Press the appropriate button to activate the Triple Powerbomb and get the "That's Justice" achievement.
Easy "The Deadman Defeated" achievement.
Enter WWE Universe, and go to the schedule. Skip until you reach March with WrestleMania, then select it. Simulate all the matches until WrestleMania, then find the match with The Undertaker. Change the participants in the match, and add your custom superstar to it. Set the difficulty to Easy and momentum to fast to make it easier and quicker. Win the match to get "The Deadman Defeated" achievement.
Easy "Warlords" achievement.
At every PPV, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship will be defended. Simulate until each PPV, then play the championship match. Play as the challenger, and win the match. Do this three times to get the "Warlords" achievement. To make it easier and quicker, set the difficulty to Easy and momentum to fast.
Easy "You're So Desperate!" achievement.
To perform a Desperation Pin, you must have very low stamina and use a grapple move, preferably a suplex. Both participants must be on the ground. You can slowly make your way up and crawl over to your opponent; hold B when prompted to perform a Desperation Pin. As long as you get the three count, you will get the "You're So Desperate!" achievement.

WWE 2K15 (for Xbox One)
Attractive menus. Large roster.
Dull gameplay. Inconsistent visuals. Tedious load times. Lacks modes found in previous games. Abusive Season Pass and DLC. Excruciating music.
WWE 2K15's dull, outdated game mechanics and rushed, cash-grab feel is a mean-spirited rib. Like its real-life counterpart, the WWE video game series needs new blood.
Professional wrestling, with its loony theatrics, ridiculous speeches, and acts of over-the-top violence, makes for excellent video game adaptations. Several incredibly fun games have appeared over the years, including the Nintendo 64's WCW/nWo Revenge and GameCube's WWE Day of Reckoning 2. Unfortunately, wrestling games haven't improved much since then, as shown by 2K's WWE 2K15 ($59.99), which is available on PlayStation 4 , Xbox One , and last-gen consoles. While WWE 2K15 has the famous brand and many of the familiar faces, its boring gameplay, lack of standard features, and numerous other flaws render this match a double disqualification.

Once you boot up WWE 2K15 and install the lengthy 4.3GB update patch, you'll encounter one of game's best aspects: The menu screen. It features high-quality photos that adequately capture the heated moments of wrestling promotion. Too bad about that annoying soundtrack curated by John Cena, though. It's dreadful. The cloying, generic rock drove me to reach for the mute button every time I played the game.
This iffy presentation extends to the graphics, too. WWE 2K15 is loaded with poor, blurry textures, glitchy animations, and inconsistent character models. Some fighters, like cover-star John Cena, look close to their real-life counterparts, but you can tell which wrestlers got scanned into the game and which didn't. Even then, some accurate models vary from moment to moment. Batista, for example, looks completely different in the ring than when he makes his entrance. Meanwhile, CM Punk looks more like an extra from Breaking Bad .
And what is he doing in the game anyway? CM Punk retired from WWE back in January 2014. Alberto Del Rio also left the company, but he's also in the game. The 2K15 in the title is one heck of a misnomer. WWE All-Stars would have been more fitting considering the roster blends retro and current stars; you'll find Booker T, The Rock, Goldust, and fifty-plus or so other superstars, divas, and managers.
If you're thinking of getting into wrestling with WWE 2K15, don't. It's not beginner-friendly. There is no introductory mode to teach you how to play the game. An included digital manual offers a limited overview, but the lack of an accessible tutorial to learn the game's controls and mechanics hurts WWE 2K15 severely.
Not to worry though, because WWE 2K15's gameplay is simplistic and lackluster. You can punch, grab, and grapple opponents, but the attacks lack impact. Animations, such as repelling off the ropes, are glitchy and unpredictable, too. Maybe your character will do what you want, but, more often, he won't. It's a friction-less gamble.
To make fighting even more of a weird mess, WWE 2K15 introduces strange mini-games that are meant to replicate tie-ups and grapples. These involve a bunch of awful button prompts that pop up to get you out of a neutral hold. Press Y to grab your opponent in a side headlock, X for a wrist lock and B for a waist lock. The mini-game works like a game of rock-paper-scissors where Y beats X, B beats Y and X beats B. I tapped without any indication I was doing well or doing poorly. Without any feedback, I had no idea what I was doing. Then the game launched me into the next mini-game that involved twirling analog sticks around. This isn't wrestling. This is a waste of time.
If that's not enough, WWE 2K15 turns character creation into a tedious chore. Each part selection is accompanied by a few seconds of loading, and considering the variety of choices (body art for the back, torso, left arm, right arm, choose your colors, hair styles, eye color, eye paint, scars, bowties, etc.) it can take forever to make a character. It took me upwards of an hour until I was done making one shabby-looking long-haired weirdo. Oppressive loading permeates throughout the rest of the game, too.
It doesn't help that there are fewer customization options than in previous games in the series, even in games from generations ago. For example, Wrestlemania XIX on the GameCube let you create a fighter who was on fire—WWE 2K15 lacks such craziness. You could also fight in shopping malls and on oil derricks. WWE 2K15 doesn't let you do anything fun like that. Nor does it let you create female characters, custom finishers, or custom storylines.
The closest thing WWE 2K15 has to a storyline mode, is MyCareer, where you work your way up from NXT (the WWE's developmental program where rookies get their start) and training matches to enter the main WWE roster. This would be fine, except it's a crushing bore. It's just a string of repetitive, meaningless matches that are meant to build up your wrestler's stats. And once you become champion, there are no matches where you get to play as the champ; you just fast-forward to your retirement match instead. It's baffling.
The other standout mode, if you can call it that, is 2K Showcase, a trip down memory lane that gives you two rivalries to play through: Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H, and the unpopular John Cena vs. the retired CM Punk. This mode is uninteresting padding that attempts to hide the game's lack of robust customization, interesting mechanics, decent graphics, and match types. Want to play handicap matches? Well, too bad, because they're M.I.A, too.
WWE 2K15 is an unfortunate case. On top of everything else mentioned, characters like Sting and Hulk Hogan are locked out unless you pre-ordered the game, a tiresome and egregious practice I wish would go away forever. There's plenty more money-grabbing DLC out there, too (over $50 all together), and there's more on the way. There's also the case of Paige, a wrestler who you can only play as if you buy the $24.99 season pass. So to get everything, including the base game, you're spending well over $100. Why you would do that is anyone's guess.
Then again, WWE 2K15 is the only option wrestling fans have at the moment if they want to play out their own matches on the couch. That's perhaps the worst thing about it, aside from the fact there is nothing at all in place to mimic the pacing and excitement of real matches at all here. The game's a dud. Maybe 2K will listen to fan feedback for 2K16, but, at this point, you'd do better not rewarding awful gouging and shoddy products and replaying an old favorite instead.
WWE 2K15 (for Xbox One)
Bottom Line: WWE 2K15's dull, outdated game mechanics and rushed, cash-grab feel is a mean-spirited rib. Like its real-life counterpart, the WWE video game series needs new blood.

WWE 2K15 Review.
GameSpot WWE 2K15 Reviews PS4 and XONE.

Wrestling is a pageant. It is a ritualized celebration of athletic excellence, over-the-top characters, and flashy production. Take away any of these elements, and the pageantry suffers. Phenomenal technical or aerial wrestlers like Cesaro or Kofi Kingston have trouble getting over with audiences because they don't have the bombastic personalities to match their enormous in-ring talent. And wrestlers that are all charisma and no technical skill burn out when their gimmick is no longer welcome. The current-gen releases of WWE 2K15 nail the production and athletics of wrestling better than any game in the franchise, but the character-driven, storytelling soul of the WWE is lost in the process.
After scrapping his way up from the WWE's developmental circuit, NXT, the Hollywood Thunder has fought every opponent thrown at him and spent an unprecedented year as the NXT champion as he honed his craft on second-tier programs like Main Event and Superstars. But, it's time. He's been called up to the big dance. He's on Smackdown. It's not quite Raw, but instead of fighting jobbers, Thunder is taking on established names. Now is his chance to prove he belongs in the WWE.
Sadly for the Hollywood Thunder, it turns out that being on Smackdown isn't too different from the years that preceded his promotion. Voluntarily dropping the NXT title so he can challenge for more prestigious belts, he winds up battling in months of filler matches with no story and no context. He's making more money, but he misses the days when each fight meant something… when each fight was a blood feud to keep his belt.
But, one day, apropos of nothing, Daniel Bryan calls him out. One of the most naturally talented superstars of the modern WWE hasn't lost a match in six months, and he appoints the rising Thunder his challenger. How does Thunder respond? He punches the leader of the "Yes!" movement in the family jewels. Thunder's a heel and for the next month, he spends every possible moment sneak-attacking Daniel Bryan in preparation for their big match. And when the PPV finally comes, Thunder knocks out the ref, bludgeons Daniel Bryan with chair shots, and then hits a Curb Stomp for the win. And, afterwards… Daniel Bryan and the Thunder lead the WWE Universe in a friendly "Yes!" chant to celebrate Thunder's victory.
That story evolved from time spent with WWE 2K15's highly touted MyCareer mode. And for those hoping for the tightly crafted narratives of WWE career modes of yesteryear: leave those expectations at the door. After creating a character (provided you don't experience the hard crashes currently plaguing Xbox One users in this mode), you begin as a fresh recruit at the WWE Performance Center in Florida and work your way up the WWE ranks until you can one day be the WWE champion.
And while the mode lays the groundwork for storytelling in the beginning (including fully-voiced cut scenes with actual NXT trainer Bill DeMott), it quickly devolves into an endless series of text-driven messaging. If you're lucky, Vickie Guerrero or William Regal will provide you with short snippets for why you should care about your match, but, more likely, your fight will lack any sort of context and you'll be wrestling purely for the money and upgrade points.
That story with Daniel Bryan occurred after over eight hours in MyCareer mode. And the four weeks spent feuding with the man who stole this year's WrestleMania were the highlight of the mode even if the ending makes no sense considering my custom character's role as a sneaky, vicious heel. Prior to that match, I'd had a couple of social media-driven feuds with over superstars but those only lasted a week or two and they only ever occurred when I was the NXT champ. And after the Bryan feud, it was hours of meaningless fights before another story event occurred. I joined Team Randy Orton (the heel team) for Survivor Series but, like the majority of previous feuds, this was told only through tweets.
With the exception of the short-lived Bryan feud, every element of MyCareer mode (one of the two story-driven modes in WWE 2K15) feels half-baked. You have a face/heel gauge, but opportunities to act as a heel or face are rare. I counted perhaps four moments in my 10 or so hours with MyCareer mode when I was able to make a heel story choice. Mostly, the only way I was able to generate heel heat without sacrificing my momentum as a superstar was to put on a great match and then hit my opponent with a foreign object to get myself disqualified. Upgrading your character is too slow a process at first and then goes far too quickly once you make it to Smackdown. I went from taking months to upgrade key stats to majorly updating multiple stats in weeks. Similarly, you spend your salary on new moves which also goes from torturously slow to overwhelmingly rapid at the flip of a switch.
The other, better campaign mode is the 2K Showcase focusing on two of the biggest rivalries in WWE history: John Cena vs. CM Punk and Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H. It's largely unchanged from the last-gen versions (MyCareer mode being a current-gen exclusive). You fight a series of matches exploring the most dramatic moments in these classic feuds while smart video packages provide context for your bouts. Though, any fight without a video package is immediately recognizable as the filler it is. The Shawn Michaels/Triple H feud, in particular, delivers a rousing arc of friendship, betrayal, and revenge from start to finish.
The 2K Showcase mode also displays a fantastic mechanical wrinkle where in-match objectives add a layer of unpredictability and drama. In the first match of the CM Punk/John Cena feud, you may have an objective to hit Cena with a top-rope signature. And you attempt this but transition to a cut scene where Cena counters with an Attitude Adjustment that you turn into the Go to Sleep which he then turns into the STF which you turn into an Anaconda Vise. Great wrestling matches are full of these shocking back and forth moments, and for those not familiar with the inner workings of all of these classic matches, it constantly keeps you wondering about what will happen next.
For those hoping that the gutted rosters and customization suites that blighted the last-gen versions would be gone for new systems--sorry. Although the last two years of WWE games have seen positively massive rosters and a treasure trove of ways to tweak your WWE experience, 2K15 features the current Raw/Smackdown rosters, a handful of NXT superstars, and a similarly limited selection of classic performers. And entire Create-A-"X" modes have been removed from the game, including Create-A-Diva, Create-A-Storyline, Create-A-Finisher, and more. It's a disappointment for the most dedicated modders out there, and the WWE creative community is usually quite active.
It's a shame that the stories and personalities that keep audiences tuned into wrestling every week (whether that's Stone Cold flipping the bird to Mr. McMahon or, more recently, Rusev's anti-American rampage across the entire WWE roster) are so absent from MyCareer mode because the series has never looked better. New technology and a new console generation have led to night-and-day leaps forward in character capture. Stars like Dolph Ziggler, Randy Orton, Sami Zayn, and many more are stunning, with animations that even manage to capture some of their signature facial tics. I tweeted a still of Dolph Ziggler from the game, and at first a friend thought it was a screencap from television.
It is capable of delivering great in-ring action, and it has the flashy production values that none of Vince McMahon's competitors have ever been able to replicate, but it's hard to care about why any of it is happening beyond the moment-to-moment competition.
Not all of the character models are successes, though. Superstars with pronounced facial features become cartoonish with this new scanning technology. John Cena looks like a jowly, Cro-Magnon bulldog, and any characters with large foreheads seem comically misproportioned in the game. That's nothing compared to characters with large mouths, though, such as The Miz or Summer Rae who become almost monstrous with freaky, distended smiles. They’d look more at home in a Silent Hill game. Characters that weren't scanned at all may lack the body horror of poorly scanned performers, but they're certainly less appealing than the scanned performers.
The in-ring combat has seen nearly as much improvement as the game's visuals. Though the new "collar-and-elbow tie-up" system for the beginning of matches adds an interesting strategic tweak that keeps matches from unrealistically exploding right out of the gate, it's the new stamina and health systems that totally revamped how I played WWE 2K15. For the last couple entries, stamina was relegated to when your character ran. It had little to no interaction with grappling and striking or aerial offense. And, while the health for each body part is still present, a character's health is primarily related to a health bar.
Each character has three stamina bars and three health bars. If you lose a health bar, you drop down to the equivalent stamina bar if you haven't fallen there already. This ensures that if you're at low health, your character is now beat to hell and worn completely out. He can't move as quickly as he did at the beginning of the match. It became my goal to make sure that my character's stamina never dropped below where his health dictated it should be. This slowed my play down significantly, but it made matches more realistic. I wasn't flying full-force at opponents until I squashed them into defeat. I had to think about how I expended my energy. And, if I made tactical errors, it was much easier for AI opponents to turn the table on me than it had been in years past.
Certain wrinkles of combat are still problematic. Counters still refuse to become an intuitive process minus countering strikes. It's too easy to lose all of your first bar of stamina (an important advantage in combat) if you're at the losing end of the rock-paper-scissors element of the collar-and-elbow tie-ups. Tag team partners don't seem to know anymore that, if you've hit your finisher on an opponent and are about to go for the pin, they should enter and stop your opponent's partner from breaking up the pin. And reversals do a disproportionate amount of damage that creates a disincentive to perform many moves in your arsenal.
Furthermore, though they’re much rarer than they were in the last-gen versions, bugs still pop up. In tag matches, it's easy to make your performer's hands vibrate infinitely at super speeds if you're not the one tagged in. During a training match in the performance center, a collar-and-elbow tie-up turned into both wrestlers falling on the ground, and then floating/sliding under the ropes and out of the ring without ever stopping. And, certain finishers just won't connect (not involving a legitimate counter) simply because the game's collision system decides it doesn't want to function.
WWE 2K15 reminds me too much of the modern WWE. It is capable of delivering great in-ring action, and it has the flashy production values that none of Vince McMahon's competitors have ever been able to replicate, but it's hard to care about why any of it is happening beyond the moment-to-moment competition. And while that can provide plenty of entertainment while you're playing/watching Raw, it leaves the sinking feeling that the wrestling you love lacks the spark to be special anymore. At no point does WWE 2K15 gel into something truly special.
