PUBG Xbox One Expert Controls List to Help With More Chicken Dinners.
Coming from the PC to Xbox One, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds had to fit a mouse and keyboard into a controller. While we think they’ve done a good job with PUBG so far, there are plenty of controls that aren’t explained very well in the game that can help you a lot if you know how to use them.
In this list of controls for PUBG on the Xbox One, we’re going to assume you’ve gotten all the basics down as the core things like shooting, aiming, moving and picking up items are pretty self explanatory.
However, there are a ton of little things that you might now know were possible in PUBG for Xbox One. Here’s a guide with tips and tricks that will help you earn more Chicken Dinners in PUBG on the Xbox One by mastering all of the controls.
How to Adjust Zeroing Distance.
Step 1: Aim down scope by pressing LT Step 2: Press up or down on the d-pad to adjust zeroing distance.
Zeroing Distance in PUBG works similar to how it works in real life as bullets have a drop effect depending on how far away the target is that you are trying to hit. Using up and down on the d-pad will allow you to change the zeroing distance for a scope that supports it. You can also reset zeroing distance by pressing right on the d-pad. For more on how to adjust zeroing distance you can check out this guide.
Adjust Fire Mode.
Different guns have different rates of fire in PUBG. Some weapons support three modes of fire, while others support only single shots. To adjust the rate of fire for your weapon, press left on the d-pad.
Adjust Scope.
Step 1: Attach Scope that has zoom capability Hold RB button While ADS (LT) Press Up and Down on The Left Thumbstick to zoom in and out.
Certain scopes can be adjusted to zoom in and out in PUBG. Hold RB and then press up and down on the left thumbstick to adjust the zoom on 8x and 15x scopes. To use a scope in PUBG you need to have a scope equipped to a gun and then use the LT to aim down sights.
Hold Breath.
Step 1: Aim Down Sights (LT) Step 2: Press (LB)
You can hold you breath to make precision shots in PUBG, but you’ll need to be doing a couple of things to take advantage of it. To hold your breath while shooting in PUBG on the Xbox One you need to be aiming down sights (LT) and then press the (LB) button to actually hold your breath . You’ll know you’re doing it right as you’ll zoom in slightly and the lung meter will show up at the bottom of the screen.
Change Brightness of Red Dot Scope or Holographic.
Step 1: Aim Down Sights with Scope Attached to Weapon (LT) Step 2: Hold (RB) and press up or down on Left Thumbstick to change brightness.
If you pick up a scope and want to change the brightness of the reticle, you can do it in PUBG for Xbox One. First you’ll need to equip the scope to a gun that it fits on, then you’ll need to Aim Down Sights to see the changes. Once aiming down sights with the scope just press (RB) and then use up and down on the left stick to change the brightness .
How to Run Faster.
There are numerous ways to run faster in PUBG. But the easiest thing you can do is to put away your weapons and do a full out sprint. To put away your weapons and start sprinting just hold the Y Button . Another way to move run faster is by using Energy Drinks, Painkillers, or the Adrenaline Syringe to max out your boost bar.
How to Throw Grenades.
Throwing grenades is relatively easy to do in PUBG but actually using them effectively is a little bit more challenging. To use a grenade you can simply select it on the fly by pressing right on the d-pad. If you’ve got multiple grenade types in your inventory (molotov, frag, smoke, stun) you can keep pressing right on the d-pad to cycle through them and equip. Once you’ve got your grenade selected, you’ve got a couple of different options.
Toggle Throwing. Pressing the RT will put your character in the throwing motion. Pressing the LT will allow you toggle between an underhand and overhand throw. Regardless of which type of toss you make, you’ll need to use the red trajectory marker to try and determine where your grenade will land. If the trajectory marker has a circle on it, you can determine exactly where a grenade will land. If not, you’ll need to have a good understanding of the trajectory and angle to determine where it will land.
Using the red trajectory data you can throw grenades accurately through windows, and even barred windows if you use it accurately. To throw a grenade through a barred window you must aim between the bars in the window.
How to Cook a Grenade in PUBG Xbox One.
Step 1: Hold RT Trigger to Start Grenade Throw Step 2: Press LB to start cooking grenade Step 3: Throw the Grenade before it explodes.
Cooking a grenade in PUBG for the Xbox One is another one of those items that isn’t really explained all that well in the game. But to do it you simply must click RT to start the throwing motion and the press LB to start the cook. You’ll hear a clicking sound on the grenade once you press LB and if you don’t get rid of it within around 5 seconds it will detonate.
How to Throw Grenades Farther.
Throwing grenades while moving forward will allow you throw them slightly farther than when standing still. However, the appropriate trajectory for getting the most distance on the grenade is around a 45 degree angle. Aiming higher (increasing the angle) will not result in the grenade going any further.
How to recover full Health.
Once you’ve lost health in PUBG there are only a handful of ways to replenish your health to 100%. Neither a First Aid Kit nor Bandages will replenish your health to 100% in the game. To replenish full health you either need to use a Med Kit to instantly replenish health to 100% or use one of the other consumables to slowly regenerate health when to above 75%. Energy Drinks, Painkillers, and the Adrenaline Syringe will all allow you to recover your full health over time. Stacking Painkillers or Energy Drinks does not make you heal faster. However, stacking these items will give you a full boost bar that will make you run faster and recover health over time.
How to use Bandages Correctly.
Bandages in PUBG can help you recover health and they’re found all over the map in PUBG. Found in stacks of five, these items can be used to restore your health up to a maximum of 75%. However, spamming bandages is not the correct way to use this items as it helps recover health over time. Using one bandage heals a players health by 10 over the course of seven seconds. Using a second bandage stops this regeneration so it’s important to use them in situations where you have the time to get the most out of them.

The Future of GTA Review: Shenmue 3 for Xbox One: Will it ever be?!
We saw no in game footage, but the cut scene we were treated to was solid, if not a little generic. It will undoubtedly titillate fans of the series.
Very little was revealed about Quantum Break, other than a jarring mash up of soap opera drama featuring live action footage of a family and what appears to be a little girl with psychic powers, and a rather impressive CGI boat crashing through a bridge. The footage was spectacular but got a seemingly confused reaction from the 200 strong crowd watching - at this point nobody quite knows what to expect from Quantum Break.
Microsoft were keen to show us famous sports personalities during their montage of sports games, which unfortunately didn't include footage of actual gameplay. Being the first of their kind on next gen consoles we can no doubt expect these games to be more than just your average yearly upgrade.
Beautiful visuals, impressive gameplay and exclusive DLC - Call of Duty fans will not be disappointed with what was shown at the unveiling. In fact, Call of Duty fans will be the only fans NOT disappointed. We're all just going to have to wait a little longer to really dive in to some Xbox One titles.
Microsoft confirmed that there will be 15 first party games within the first year, 8 of which will be brand new IP's (one of those being Quantum Break). No doubt more details will trickle through within the lead up to E3.
With rumors continuing to gain speed regarding the next generation console from Microsoft dubbed the Xbox One, games developers must be eagerly looking for opportunities to exploit the all new hardware contained within. Can you imagine stepping into a game world that resembles the amount of detail contained with a movie like Avatar? Can you imagine enhanced Artificial Intelligence creating more challenges and increasing the lifespan of titles? Can you imagine what possibilities the Kinect could offer to gamers in the future as motion technology is perfected? The Xbox One may be a while away from reaching us yet, but there is plenty to look forward to with lots of potential games on the horizon.
We already know that an all new Halo experience is waiting in the wings for the existing Xbox 360, with a sneak peak shown at E3 2011. But what could come next in the saga? Halo has continued to pull in the punters to the Xbox, and with new developer 343 Industries replacing Bungie we're expecting some new life to be breathed into this series. This life could easily continue into the next generation Xbox console. With the increased processing power that the Xbox One will bring to the table can you imagine how immersive the Halo universe could become? Just imagine facing Covenant foes with intelligence; foes who can learn your movements and hunt you down as you and your best buddies work together to complete the campaign mission. Halo Reach started the principle of making levels harder not simply be increasing the quantity of bad guys, but by making them more intelligent. Just imagine where this could go with the enhanced technology on offer!
Yes, we know, the Gears of War trilogy is coming to an end with the release of Gears of War 3 for the Xbox 360. Or is it? The developers have certainly promised that they will wrap up the storyline at the culmination of the third installment of Gears of War, but they have also mentioned that they won't actually be blowing up the world in which the games are set. Thereby leaving plenty of room for the already greatly desired sequels. Improvements to the Horde mode within Gears of War are being released with the third game, but imagine what Horde version three could look like. Swiping your chainsaw through the bodies of irritating drones will never be the same again with next generation graphics making that spurting blood look all the more gory.
Ubisoft are certainly milking the Assassin's Creed characters Ezio and Altair for all they're worth, with the release of an intermediary game, Assassin's Creed: Revelations for the Xbox 360. We're more excited however of the prospect of the promised third game in the series, featuring an entirely new character in an entirely different time period. Whether Assassin's Creed 3 will make it for the Xbox One, or if it will be the fourth installment that we are likely to see on our next generation console remains to be seen. Either way we are looking forward to exploring a vast new map which the One will be powerful enough to run in intricate glory. And what's more; the one annoyance that's always let down the series - your foes standing in a neat circle, attacking one at a time until you gradually dispatch them all - could be completely removed with the promised improvements to artificial intelligence that the increased processing power will offer. Instead of waiting to attack, your enemies could have their own intelligence, teaming up in an attempt to take you out and making the entire experience more realistic and challenging.
Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games are more than just a mouthful and a half to say, they are also taking the PC gaming world by storm. Popular games such as World of Warcraft have millions of active players, but have generally been restricted to computers. What if this is the time for the genre to make the jump to console? Now that the internet is more deeply ingrained into our console gaming we see no reason that these multiplayer games couldn't start to make the transition.

Those of you on here that tell people they need to go do something, well you're on here too stupid, so you can't go around insulting people. I also saw people saying the 720 isn't real. Do you have proof? I'm not saying i have proof it is but show me something that it is not. Then someone said they'd kill themself if the 720 didn't play 360 games. Really? Do you really need that mush attention that your gonna put that on here? Ok. I actually like the people on here that talk about games and give suggestions. For the rest of you. YOU go do something else because we are true gamers that care about what happens to the games and consols we play.

Mmm, satisfying my lust for MMOs with the ability to sit on the couch and play – yes please Microsoft! I'm loving the thought of improvements to AI though. Just imagining being properly hunted down in Halo or Assassin's gives me goose bumps! I hope they don't try and put too much motion sensor stuff into games like that though. A bit of voice could help with weapon selection and whatever (though maybe not in split screen!) but can you really imagine standing up and pretending to peer around corners holding a gun? Doesn't sound like something I'd want to do.

I think it's probably time to see a new XBOX console, but I think Microsoft should take a different approach to just doubling the "numbers" each time. ;-)
Would love to see Shenmue 3 though! Poor Ryo's been stuck in that cave for the last 10 years. :-D.
I don't have any interest in Halo, Gears Of War, Assassin's Creed or online RPGs either and I think Kinect is too little too late personally. It'd be nice to see more racing games with fantasy styled tracks and traditional RPGs. :-)

3D Glasses have to be upside-down !!
Permalink Submitted by Alan (not verified) on Sat, 01/07/2017 - 07:32 .
I bought an Xbox One S for Christmas and was delighted that it can play 4K films and also 3D. The crazy thing is, that for 3D films to look right, you have to wear your 3D glasses upside down.
The same thing happens when I stream YouTube 3D videos though the Xbox.
The same glasses work fine with my Sony BluRay player and the Toshiba 4K TV.
Is there a system update around, or a set of glasses which will work correctly.

I loved the playstation 2. I hated the first release of the playstation 3. I cant ever get into a game with my friends with the playstation. I cant connect to parties to talk to my friends with the playstation 3. I only use my plastation 3 for acces to netflix and to watch my Blu-Ray disks. I play the xbox 360 slim. I hate kinect and thnik its best suited for the younger kids. But I turn my xbox off and on with kinect through voice activation (even though my controller can do it within 3 seconds too). xbox 360 has more playability compared to playstation 3. The controllers fit better in your hand, the sticks are in the perfect places for your thumbs. Microsoft makes more money off their Console than ps3's company. The customer support is better on Xbox, the download speeds (internet slow or fast) are better than ps3's. Finding what you need for games like DLC's are much more simple and easier to understand. Yes red ring of death is possibble, but so is a ps3's network getting hacked. We pay for xbox live beacause its safer that way. The more we pay the more they can fix, correct, protect, whatever to make sure we enjoy our xbox live time, and $40-$60 a year isnt bad at all. The games that release for xbos usually also have more play ability. DLC's, updates. The online commmunity stays fresh being able to talk to anybody you want within seconds of inviting to a party or being in a lobby. The 720 will be the most kickass next gen console of this sentry. Sorry ps3, but over the years you have been sick, sick with lack of support and entertainment with friends and gamerz you want to just stomp.
I will play Pc and xbox forever. The playstation lost me after the 3rd came out.

Ps3 is crap! Free doesnt make it good and the ps3 service is pure garbage! I pay for xbox but im also paying for good service and a good company. Ps3 doesnt care and the im sry but but having their servers down for a couple months because of one hacker is really sad. That goes to show u right there how much effort ps3 puts into there security. and when ur ps3 reformats? and erases all ur data? thats also complete crap! Xbox is way better! Xbox doesnt have any problems like that! Red ring of death was solved, Ps3's crap still remains.

if xbox 720 charge 1 thousand dollars.
Permalink Submitted by AAA (not verified) on Tue, 07/10/2012 - 11:02 .
If microsoft charge 1 thousand dollars for xbox 720 they will be out of there minds. Nobody in there right mind would pay that kind of money. Unless it came with 1 terabyte hard drive or more blu-ray drive and hdv something sony won't get and of course you can get dvd and cd. Also free xbox live or whatever they call it free games i say 3 or more games and good ones too. Also downloadable games that are full games and if xbox live is free no catches and two controllers and on the controllers a speaker built in that you would not need a headset. And it would not cost money to watch the add enterntainment that they have like espn and make amazon be like on the computer that you can buy games movies books or anything you want and if you put m for mature verify the name and if it checks out you should be able to look at porn. Also a protection plan for the life of the console and xbox should have google, yahoo, and bing no fees ifthey charge 1,000 dollars. And you should be able to get free extra gigs of memory without buying and no banned used games and if you do allow used games no fee to unlock the game. And Bill Gates stop being so greedy you the richest man in america and most of the world learn from the unfortunate loss of Stepen Jobs God do not hates greed. Try to be rich if I was rich I would accept it but if you do give chatity and don't use get the money back on your tax return that's not charity. But most importantly show you care for the customer if you do alot of the things I said you will make even more bucks and weather you or sony come out with the console first don't be like them because alot of the bad moves there trying to do away with used games too. And if you have backwards compat. With xbox 360 games thay would be more wonderful if you do like sony you and them will be out of business and the little brother nintendo will be there still. I like nintendo but i don't want to see your gaming franchises so go out of business if you do alot of those things i said and lower it for about 700 hundred it will sell like hot cakes. And the ring fix the problem please and no flying disc please allow used games no fees and you say you lose money if the game was bought and you made a profit already you made money already the cusomer should be able to do anything he or she wants. Except making illegal copies on disc and controllers. But you are going to do what you want sure like the first 2 weeks t you will have sucess but after that you will fail just like sony willl if you won't win.

Ok you guys think PS3 is better because it has free internet services. The fact is Sony rents servers, they don't run their own servers. It has a higher chance of going down than Microsoft's servers, this is because Mircosoft OWNS servers and they are more reliable because the network is made for online gaming. Microsoft charges because they probably pay a lot to keep those servers up.

If everyone would just chill both systems will be great it really comes down to which will be cheaper and which will be flawed. The best thing is is that ps4 will come out first then the 720 but just remember looks isn't everything. I use to be a ps person but there right 360 really changed things also the fact that some games are going to Xbox is saying a lot. As for Nintendo they need something of there own they just have not yet found it. But now if you think about it the biggest gaming system out there is pc of course I just hope they keep their games to their self. As always they do make a good point Xbox live should be free like everyone else but just know it is more secure then play station network, but in conclusion the price could never be 1000$ who would by they know that 600$ to 800$ yes that to say all the hard system requirement that are going in to these systems so everyone chill take a deep breath it will be ok.

Well I do know that it isn't set to be "stanardized" unitl next year sometime but the products that sport it are being released at the end of 2012. This is why I was hoping that the so called 720 would have a 2014 or 15 release. This way hopefully it would have these new features. Xbox 360, sold over 50 mil copie and they maintence the online features like a good company need to, we have faster connection, our server located in US and EU and Sony's servers located in Japan.

Need to change the controller. NO wire to the controller from your headset. That sucks so bad. NO AA batterys for the controller. Please get with the times. Look, I game on a PC rig, Game on a playstation3 and game on a XBOX 360. XBOX needs to change and change fast. All so The new game consoles need to be 1 to 3 screen game play like a PC gaming rig. And yes 3D is a must. I game on and off in 3D and it is bad ass. NEED to listen and look what todays gamers want and are doing. Same with sony. I like gaming with all three but i was not happy with XBOX at first about less then half the good headsets don't work or don't work well with XBOX. I had no problems with PC or playstation. So please solve that problem. The new XBOX looks kickass so make it kickass, not revamp two years later after release. even it takes 1 more year to get it rite. Not like windows viesta and 2 years later windows 7. Take your time and you will make us even more HAPPY!

Permalink Submitted by Jumonkan (not verified) on Wed, 06/20/2012 - 08:56 .
You mean what today's PC gamers are doing. No console gamer is looking to play on three screens. I'm so tired of reading online from people who are really PC gamers trying to rally for consoles to be more like there uber powerful ultra expensive PC gaming rig. Consoles should never have multi monitor support thats just stupid and would raise the price of the console by at least 200 dollars. Most families and people have one (if there lucky) 1080i TV and I would venture most don't even use it through the HDMI port it's probably stil A/V or VGA. I will agree 3D is needed but that is just starting to take hold. I happen to like I can add batteries to my XBOX controller, that way while my rechargeable pack is recharing I don't have to have that usb cable to play I just pop in some AA and keep playing. That is one of the things I hate about my PS3 is that retardedly short usb recharging cable you get for the controller and the fact is rechargeable only. I also agree they need to take there time and get the console right, I simple cannot believe they didn't know the orginal 360 would over heat after being played for a few months and the dust collecting inside it. I had my first one for about 4 or 5 years before it got the Red Ring but I took mine apart and cleaned it and blow the dust out etc a couple time. So yeah a little more Dev time would be great. I agree as well about headsets I got one with my slim and used it all of three time and it died.

Permalink Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on Wed, 03/28/2012 - 11:10 .
The reason i beleave Microsoft makes u pay is because it makes online safer, I mean look at Sony, they've been hacked two times, then look at Microsoft, never been hacked, but still it would be great if microsoft wouldn't make u pay for xbox love, and personally, if they made me choose a console, I would rather choose an Xbox or even a wii better than a ps3, wii is simple, fun, and kid friendly, Xbox has more popular titles and safer Internet, while the Ps3 copied the wii with the ps3 "move" and playing with friends is a lot harder than on xbox, considering the fact no parties, but I got to give Sony the free internet.
Microsoft Xbox One.
Xbox One review: Microsoft console is a serious contender.
Page 1 of 3 Xbox One review: Microsoft console is a serious contender.
Replaced by the Xbox One S, the Xbox One has great exclusives and additional features.
Specifications.
CPU: 8-core AMD Jaguar CPU, Graphics: 853MHz Radeon GPU with 12 Compute Units Memory: 8GB DDR3 (32MB ESRAM cache), Storage: 500GB hard disk, Blu-ray drive.
Update: The original Xbox One has been usurped by the Xbox One S – a slimmer, iteration of the console with a 4K Blu-ray player. You can check out our review of that device over here. In a nutshell, the Xbox One S is an update, rather than an out-and-out sequel, to the Xbox One. You’ll be able to play all Xbox One games with it, but with the addition of HDR support and an in-built 4K Blu-ray player. It’s also pleasing on the eye, with a 40% reduction in size over the (rather bulky) original Xbox One.
If you want to wait for a fuller upgrade over the Xbox One, you’ll have to wait until the tail end of the year. That’s when Microsoft has said it will launch the Xbox Project Scorpio; its 4K, VR-enabled machine. You can read more about what’s been announced so far of Project Scorpio over here. We've also got a collection of the best games currently available for Xbox consoles here.
Carry on reading below for Seth Barton’s review of the original Xbox One.
Xbox One review.
Let's put its rocky reception behind us, the Xbox One has come on leaps and bounds since then and today is arguably the equal of its better-selling competitor. It has a better range of exclusive titles, a brand-new interface that does away with Kinect entirely and the best remote gaming technology around. Yes it lags behind its PS4 rival in terms of raw graphics power, but the Xbox One is still a great console. As it's now past its second birthday, and with some the 'New Xbox One Experience' as the new dashboard is officially known now available, I've taken the opportunity to revisit the original review for a frank reassessment of where the Xbox One sits today.
Originally launched amid a fanfare of additional features, Microsoft always wanted the Xbox One to be more than just a games console. in retrospect that looked like folly, but there are a number of those features that have remained potentially useful, such as the HDMI passthrough socket, while others have been skilfully integrated, such as game streaming to Windows 10 devices,
I've pitted the two next-generation consoles against each other in a separate article, but here I'll be putting the machine under the microscope to see how Microsoft has turned the Xbox One around from potential disaster to serious contender.
The Xbox One is now sold without its divisive Kinect peripheral.
XBOX ONE DESIGN.
There's no escaping it; the Xbox One is huge. It dwarfs the PlayStation 4, as well as both previous-generation systems, and could rival some AV amplifiers for the space it will take up underneath your TV. The angular lines, lack of physical buttons and combination of glossy and matt plastics give it an imposing, almost monolithic appearance.
The design gives the internal components plenty of room to breathe; after the notorious Xbox 360 Red Ring of Death issue, Microsoft has taken no chances with the Xbox One when it comes to heat. An oversized CPU heatsink and fan, positioned directly below a massive exhaust vent, ensure the console doesn't overheat even after hours of continuous gaming. It's barely audible when gaming, something I can't say of its slender rival.
Our one sticking point is that it does make a constant low hum when sat in its 'Instant On' mode, which I could hear when sitting in a very quiet room. For more on its standby modes and power usage, see Interface.
XBOX ONE SPECS.
After Microsoft revealed it was using semi-custom AMD Accelerated Processing Units (APUs) for the Xbox One, Games consoles have never looked closer to desktop PCs in terms of hardware. The two quad-core Jaguar processor modules in the Xbox One, which each run at 1.75GHz and are paired with 8GB of DDR3 memory, should be significantly easier to program for than the PowerPC-based CPU used in the Xbox 360.
Plenty of space inside. Image courtesy of iFixit - because I wasn't brave enough to open up our console.
Sony has taken a similar approach, also opting for an eight-core Jaguar APU and 8GB of RAM for the PS4, but both companies have made their own adjustments to AMD's reference design and taken wildly different approaches to graphics memory. The Xbox One relies on 32MB of fast-access ESRAM to quickly buffer textures into the slower DDR3 memory, which according to developers is more complex to program than the PS4's faster GDDR5 RAM.
This has led to an ongoing resolution and quality disparity between the two consoles in most multiplatform games. In general the PS4 runs game at a Full HD 1,920x1,080 resolution, while the Xbox One uses a slightly less detailed 1,600x900 resolution. It's not a dramatic difference, but the fussy will be able to notice it.
Not the most convenient place for a USB port if you'll be putting your Xbox One in a tight TV cabinet.
The slot-loading Blu-ray optical drive allows developers to use bigger textures, increasing detail in games without needing to ship multiple discs. However, games aren't read directly from the disc; they must be installed to the 500GB internal hard disk; and with retail games approaching 50GB in size, it won't be long until that disk is filled.
While the PS4's hard disk can be swapped out by you at home, getting to the Xbox One's disc isn't for the faint-hearted. However, by plugging in a USB hard disk with 256GB or more space you can expand the internal storage with ease. Note that the Xbox formats the disc, so you can't continue using it as external storage for a PC.
The Xbox One automatically saves your game progress to both the console and to the cloud, so you can access your saves from other consoles. You can do this without Xbox Live Gold, unlike on PS4 which requires PlayStation Plus.
XBOX ONE PORTS.
In order to avoid spoiling its minimal front face, Microsoft moved all the ports to the rear and left-hand side of the Xbox One. There are two HDMI ports; one to output video to your TV and a second to receive pictures from an external source - most likely a TV set-top box (see Xbox One TV and OneGuide). There's also a digital optical S/PDIF to output surround sound to older AV receivers and sound bars.
The HDMI input is perfect for your Sky or TiVo box, but is too laggy to feed a PC or other games console into.
There are two USB3 ports on the rear, as well as a third on the side of the console. I'd have rather seen some front-facing ports for convenience but it's not a huge problem for most. You'll also find the proprietary Kinect port and an IR blaster input at the back. The Xbox One can control your set top box, to change channels and the like; this is usually be done with the Kinect, which has its own powerful IR emitter, so the IR blaster is simply a backup for those without a Kinect, or for where the setup isn't practical.
You have the choice between wired Ethernet and wireless 802.11n Wi-Fi for getting online. It's pretty essential to have one or the other these days, for console and game updates, if not for actual online play.
XBOX ONE CONTROLLER.
The Xbox 360 controller was widely regarded as one of the best controllers ever made, so Microsoft didn't been change the formula too drastically for the Xbox One. The controller has the same offset analogue stick layout, four face buttons, two triggers and two shoulder buttons, but the start and select buttons have been replaced with menu and multi-tasking buttons respectively.
The smooth textured plastic creates plenty of grip and the contoured shape comfortably fits your hands.
Despite being similar to its predecessor, numerous little changes make a world of difference. The new four-way directional pad is much more precise than the 8-way 360 D-pad, which was arguably its weakest feature. Individual rumble motors in the new 'impulse triggers' add force feedback directly to your fingers. A smaller dead zone and greater resistance to movement make the analogue sticks feel incredibly responsive.
The Micro USB port can't charge the AA batteries, but plugging it in will save battery power.
The battery compartment is now recessed within the controller, rather than protruding outwards as it was with the Xbox 360. Microsoft has opted for AA batteries rather than a built-in rechargeable pack, and these can't be charged via the micro USB port so you'll want to buy the optional Play-and-Charge battery pack to avoid constantly buying replacements. The Xbox Dashboard now shows you how much battery power you have left in the player one controller - unfortunately additional icons aren't added as subsequent controllers are paired with the console.
The original controller required an optional headset adaptor if you wanted to plug headphones directly into the controller. Unlike the PS4, which has a standard 3.5mm audio jack that will work with just about any wired headset. The adaptor had its upsides, with controls to mute the microphone and adjust the volume, but I'm glad to see the rejigged controller has a straightforward 3.5mm jack. PC gamers can plug the Xbox One controller into their computer via the supplied USB cable and use Microsoft's official drivers to play PC titles as well.
Overall, the controller feels superior in almost every way, which is a major achievement given the 360 pad's pedigree. I narrowly prefer the Xbox One's controls, but the PS4 controller levels things up with its more convenient built-in battery.

Expert Mode.
Expert Mode is the new game type added in the 1.3 version update. It can be selected when creating a world for the first time, and will greatly change how the game is played.
EditWhat does Expert Mode do?
Basically put, it ramps up the difficulty. It can work in tandem with other difficulty modifiers, to create a punishingly difficult game.
When Expert Mode is activated, it will give all enemies twice as much health and damage. It also adds a slew of new boss specific and Expert mode specific items, and alters how many monsters and bosses behave. Below is a list of changes that become active in Expert Mode .
Enemies and Bosses gain more competent AI, they also have increased health and damage. Enemies will drop more loot upon death. Some enemies spawn with weapons that have a small chance to drop on death. Bosses drop unique Expert Mode only loot. You will drop up to 75% of total money on death. Enemies can now pick up dropped money. They will shine if they have your money when you find them again. Respawn time is longer when dead. Boss health scales based on the amount of players in a game. Monsters can now spawn in safe locations, albeit rarely. Pots now contain more loot. Ice creatures can freeze you with attacks. Quest rewards grant more money. Bats can now apply Feral Bite. Life Regen is slower now. Vampiric and Spectre healing is slightly less effective. Your Defense stat now has greater affect on damage you receive.
EditBoss Items.
The following items drop from bosses, but only in Expert Mode!
EditSurviving Early On.
Expert Mode isn't fooling around, and you will feel the difference almost immediately as a lowly blue slime jumps your way and kills you in a few hits. The common enemies in Terraria used to be a nuisance and nothing more, but now they pack a serious punch, so you will need to be far more careful and prepared!
EditGet Sheltered, Quickly!
The first few nights are going to be incredibly rough, and if you don't have shelter, you will die. The little sword you start with won't cut it on this difficulty, so make sure to immediately begin cutting down trees, or digging yourself a hole.
If you are lucky, during the night some zombies with weapons will attack you, and you will get one. You will tell these new zombies apart from the rest, as it looks like they are holding something like a sword. It is in fact a Zombie Arm they are using as a weapon. When they die, they have a chance to drop this, and it happens to be a good starting weapon.
Along with this, you should aim to get a Campfire built quickly. This will increase health regen in the area, which is very important given the lower base health regen you receive on Expert Mode .
EditPrioritize Armor Upgrades.
When playing on a normal world, it's common to skip entire armor classes because they don't offer much improvement. On Expert Mode this simply isn't an option. Armor is more effective on this mode, so the difference between 3 armor and 5 may seem insignificant, but that's far from the truth!
Having a complete set of even wood armor can help save your life against the enemies above ground, and once you start getting decent amounts of Tin Ore and Tungsten Ore you can upgrade to that. A set of Tungsten Armor is some of the best early game armor you can use, and will serve you well even against the first couple bosses.
EditFriends Make All The Difference.
Expert Mode is a grueling solo experience. However, bring a few friends and you will find that the challenge lets up just enough to still give you hard time while being fun.
Having others in your world will help you accumulate ore and other items quicker, and of course they can aid in battle with hordes of enemies or while you are exploring deep in caves. There is a downside though. When playing on Expert Mode, bosses will gain more health for every player that's in the game. So although friends will make the normal day to day life easier, bosses can be serious business, so you best stock up for a long fight!
EditGoal Progression.
When playing on Expert Mode, there are certain goals you should try to reach. These will likely be different than your normal goals, since enemies pack a serious punch on this difficulty.
EditGoal 1. Tungsten Pickaxe.
This is your first objective. The Tungsten Pickaxe is one of the best early tools as it can harvest Meteorite Ore, which is invaluable on Expert Mode.
It should be noted that not every world spawns with the same ore. If you can't find any Tungsten, it's likely your world simply doesn't have any! Instead, you should aim for a Gold Pickaxe, which also can mine Meteorite!
EditGoal 2. Dynamite!
With the Tungsten Pickaxe (or Gold one) in hand, you now want high explosives. To get these, simply make sure your house has suitable room then wait for the Demolitionist.
Once he arrives, buy up as much Dynamite as you can. You will need it to smash orbs in either the Corruption or Crimson. Remember you only want to smash 2, as smashing 3 will cause a boss to spawn! With the orbs smashed, meteors now have a chance to fall.
EditGoal 3. Meteorite Set.
You've used some dynamite, smashed some orbs and a meteor finally landed. Using your Tungsten Pickaxe, go slowly mine it and forge yourself an entire set of armor. Once you have it, also craft the gun that goes with it. It is one of the best early weapons since the lasers will penetrate several enemies at a time, does decent damage and has infinite ammo!
EditGoal 4. Boss Time!
With the mighty Meteorite Set on and gun in hand, you can now fight some bosses. The Eye of Cthulu is fairly easy with the gun, although watch out for his new dashing attack.
Depending what world you have, the next boss can be tougher. Brain of Cthulu is similar to the eye and thus easy enough to deal with, however the Eater of Worlds can be a hard boss to kill. Make sure to check out their pages to get tips on how to kill them in Expert Mode.
EditGoal 5. Skeletron.
Once you beat the first bosses, your next goal should be Skeletron. We go into detail on how to beat him on his page, but suffice it to say you will need a lot of potions, tons of preparation, and at least Meteor Armor but Molten Armor is suggested. Once you do finally take him out, you can clear out the Dungeon for all it's loot!
EditGoal 6. Hardmode.
With Skeletron down, your next goal is the Wall of Flesh so you can access Hardmode. Once you get there, the rest is fairly straight forward, specially if you have played the game before. Of course everything hits harder, but the general plan is the same, obtain the new ore, get the highest quality you can then start spawning the new versions of all the bosses.

What You Want to Know.
The eighth-generation video game console from Microsoft, the Xbox One, is noted not only for its powerful gaming capabilities, but also for a number of multimedia options the entire family can enjoy.
Xbox One Games.
There are more than a thousand games available for Xbox One, including some very exciting exclusive titles such as Forza Horizon 3, Gears of War 4, or any of the celebrated Halo games — this alone could make the Xbox One your best console choice. Also available are legendary series such as Grand Theft Auto, Call of Duty and Madden NFL. Most of the games are available in both physical and digital formats, but a few are available only through Xbox digital game download.
Features You'll Appreciate.
A key part of your Xbox One experience is Xbox Live, which enables you to buy game downloads and watch videos, share your recorded gameplay, and keep track of your friends' achievements and game progress. You can also subscribe to Xbox Live Gold, which allows you to play multiplayer games online, plus get free games and access to members-only deals and discounts. The Xbox Live store features Twitch live streams of any game that's being played at the moment, so you can watch a game in action before you decide to buy it.
Xbox One is backward-compatible with Xbox 360 games, including both digital games and physical game discs, so you can continue to enjoy many of your favorite games, or try out classics you've missed. You can use two Xbox apps side by side with Xbox Snap, Xbox One's picture-in-picture feature. This means you'll be able to view a live sporting event and talk to friends via Skype at the same time. Each time you save your progress in an Xbox One game, that file is automatically saved in cloud storage, so if you're using a friend's console, all of your latest saves will be instantly accessible as soon as you sign in again.
What Else Can Xbox One Do?
You can plug your cable box directly into your Xbox One and make it the television and gaming hub in your home. Streaming movies and TV shows is easy, as is watching YouTube and other videos on your TV. You can also play DVDs and Blu-rays, listen to CDs and MP3s, and make Skype calls. You can use OneGuide to discover what's showing on cable and apps like Hulu or Netflix. Additionally, with the DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) media server streaming support, you can stream content over your network from your PC.
The bridge console between the premium Xbox One X and the first Xbox One is the Xbox One S — it's 40% smaller than the original, with a built-in power supply, a sleeker, more user-friendly controller, and support for 4K Ultra HD video, streaming and Blu-ray, with High Dynamic Range (HDR).

The Xbox One is Microsoft’s premier games console which competes with other devices such as the Sony PlayStation 4. It was first released in 2013 after years of development and a budget of several millions. When it was first released it became clear that the Xbox One is a gaming console that has very great potential.
Today its latest version aims to be the console that brings the Microsoft Xbox division to the very top of console gaming. The current unit is a beast with a 1.75 GHz AMD 8-core processor, 8GB RAM and 500GB hard drive. These upgraded specs allow the Xbox One to render graphics and details with life-like precision, thus making the entire gaming experience all the more immersive. The Xbox One is also considered to be a total entertainment console, integrating television streaming and internet connectivity alongside its gaming features.
