Aliens Vs Predator PS4, Xbox One game desire. By Alan Ng - Jul 10, 2014. With all of the excitement around Alien Isolation at the moment, we have noticed that there has been an increased demand to see a return of the Aliens Vs Predator franchise. The less said about the movies the better, but in terms of gaming Aliens Versus Predator from Rebellion back in 1999 is still considered to be one of the best Aliens and Predator games ever made on PC. As a result, we wouldn’t mind seeing the team come back together on a new game for PS4, Xbox One and PC and it looks like Rebellion would love to make the game as well if given the chance. In a recent interview with DSOGaming, Rebellion’s Head of Programming Kevin Floyer-Lea had this to say on the possibility of a new game happening in the future. “Here at Rebellion we’ve got a particularly strong attachment to the AvP universe, so it could happen. So personally I’d love to see an AvP game with fully procedurally generated levels, where you literally never know what’s around the next corner.” Although some of the more recent Aliens Vs Predator titles haven’t proved to be as successful down the years, we would still love to see another game on next-gen hardware. The PS3 and Xbox 360 game that we played a few years ago came up short ultimately, but with Alien Isolation looking so promising, we still feel that the Aliens and Predator series can still deliver the goods if the right team is attached to it. Imagine if the likes of Rocksteady came out and said that their next game after Arkham Knight would be Aliens Vs Predator – we doubt anyone would object to that at all. If you remain a fan of the franchise at heart, let us know what you would need to see in order to put your faith behind another game. Simply put, what wouldn’t you want to see from a new Aliens Vs Predator game? would love another aliens vs predator game but for multiplayer I would love to see more aliens than marines or predators to give the feel there are lots of them as in the movies xenomorphs flood the place then just a marine campaign but with 4 player co-op make it a rather long campaign and big maps aswell but not much to do other than survive find amo and get to the objective like rescue colonists or something that would make for an awesome story. plz plz plz AVP 2010 was one of my favorite games the first person for all spices was awesome and super fun an intense but mabe bigger maps and some customization and coloring. Pls remake the Avp 2010 with more and better qualities and aliens are faster preadtors are harder to see and humans need more guns and need to be carefull. Multiplayer is key not enough games about now where me and my mate can just chill out for couple of hours. Unless linked on different devices which ain’t the same keep old skool multilayers alive keep them interaction . I wish I could design this game lol. Make the multiplayer maps much bigger. Mote in depth campaign system. Tweak the SFX so the match sound like they are suppose to and I would love to see like a character customization type deal, like the had in halo reach so you can make your predator, alien or marine look like how you want it and add in a lot more game modes to the multiplayer. I would also like to see in the campaign, that each species storyline intersect at one point and decisions in campaign area will have grave consequences in another. Also gorier (idk if that’s a word lol) execution moves and silent kills. Also maybe and option to counter and execution maybe ik. But it is very feasible to make a great avp game for next gen consoles and pc. I just want aliens vs colonial marines on ps4 or Xbox 1 owned all on that game weather playing as human or alien I got 34+ kill streaks on 360 every time and I miss it. Open world multiplayer all in one big city taken over by aliens. Marines have bases to stay safe from aliens but aliens and/or predators can still attack the bases and break in. And obviously still choose to be marine, alien or predator. All or atleast most buildings accessible even big 20 story buildings. Marines get cars and travel in big groups outside the base and can make the base bigger if they can hold down part of the city from other players(aliens). For aliens an predators, when talking through game chat to other aliens, they can hear you but predators or humans only hear the alien noise. The same with predators. When an alien dies, they respawn as a face grabber and attach to an ai and control the ai and even walk into the base unnoitced till the alien pops out and continue as the alien or can attach to a player and the player has a certain amount of time to get the alien removed or else they die. Well this is just my idea of a new avp game. I know quite a lot of people might not like this idea but hope some would also want a game like this. I would LOVE to see an updated PREDATOR game in the likes of Concrete Jungle, but different. An action RPG elemented game where you design your Yautja, and start as a young unblooded member of the clan. You travel to various worlds and hunt EVERYTHING, from dinos to weird alien species, sometimes solo, sometimes with your hunting pack. You can earn upgrades and new gear based on your honor and performance. However dishonor (killing non lethal life forms) can bring trouble from your peers, banishment, or death, where they label you “Bad Blood” and strand you on a planet and hunt you! Eventually you can gain enough Honor and Prestige to lead your own hunting party, get your own ship, and become a tribal elder. World maps can range from prehistoric jungle to volcanic deserts, and everything in between. Incorporate a galactic map aboard ship to set your course for the next hunt, along with a trophy room, training room, burial or honor the fallen room, and a room to talk with predators from your hunting party. Throw in ALIENS and COLONIAL MARINES as a species available for hunting, and random map drops. Think AVP:EXTINCTION meets PREDATOR:CONCRETE JUNGLE, with graphics and playabilty like Assassins Creed:Black Flag or Batman Arkham series or Mad Max. Now that’s a game i’d lose alot of sleep on! I sooo love your idea. I hope some game developer / designer or someone takes note of what you have just said as that would make for one hell of an Awesome game. Yautja are awesome! 😀 .. With your permission I will pass your idea onto a few developers! .. I want the same kind of multiplayer as the PS3 version it was the best. I loved the fact you could play all three different characters marine, predator, or alien. Also, as a extreme avp fan having the toys as a kid and owning all the movies. This game really personified what us fans were looking for. I was very distraught when the avp servers got shut down. Avp was the reason I got a PS3. Now I own a ps4 I would give anything to have that game for my ps4 exactly as it was. I was an alien player this my gamertag and nickname Queen. If you are gonna do this please don’t do it like colonial marines. Keep it first person and like the 1999 PS3 version. Ps maybe you could add a face hugger kill as one of the grab attacks on multiplayer. 😆😄 Mybe not so much profanity in the up coming game. And watch the movies for the diffrent style of kills with there character. Plz add difrent kilking styles with the preds like how the diffrent the masks were there shoulda been some diffrent take downs for example predator cuts there head clean off spears them in a wall, alein same cut there head off, marine shoves a granade down there throught or knifes them and also allowing us a chance from being killed on the takedown or grabed from behide causeing the kill train. plz make it i love the 2010 avp game. Got no problem with rebellion having another shot but do not want Sega or any other publisher involved let them make and publish the game then they can do what they see fit with no other company involved fox and rebellion would make alot of cash.avo 2010 only problem was not enough because support was canned after a very short time so its segas fault the game never had chance to grow into something more the only aliens game that let me down was colonial marines proving to me that rebellion and creative assembly are the only ones that should be making games in the future unless epic games the gears of war creators get to have a go. 2010 had the best looks, trophy kills and gameplay ever. Yet I hated the online community thinking of you as a coward player, say you were a pred, if you used plasma instead of fist fight. No. The nature of preds is true hunters. Maybe they would do an omage fist fight before finishing you off, but they would kill you in an instant anyway they would like. The game is hunt-kill. Online players should always percieve it as a death-match whatever the case. If shot by plasma, then you are dead. Be more careful next time. It’s how it is. If they ask you to only fist-fight to enjoy more the killing, then maybe the producer of the game should make that clear as an option in the beginning. I am not good at fist-fight. Then I could enter a game mode that allows use of all weapons by defenition. Likewise, say l like fist-fighting, l choose a different game mode that strips you off of some or all of other weapons and here you go enjoy. But the game modes should be designed as such and not being limited by unwritten agreements between online players. That wasn’t it Markos I am a alien player only and we are at a very big disadvantage to predators for the simple fact they have flying projectiles that ( not saying your one of these) a kidnergartner could use to spam on the other players and where is the fairness in that. They give you other moves for a reason. As an alien I could stay in a cave and keep wall tailing or ceiling tailing people but what kind of skill does that show for me nothing so the whole just use your fists thing is because people were spamming weapons by staying in their invisible cloak and shooting people. They need to make the aliens much quicker than the predator. The odds were stacked in the predators favour too much on multiplayer with it being very hard to see the predator with the alien at times. Also bring back overrun and the ‘pounce’ ability from the original PC game. And set limits for each species in a team deathmatch. For instance, there should be a squad of marines, a handful of aliens and 1 or 2 predators. Not loads of predators and aliens running around wildly with the 1 or 2 marines. Im playing avp on 360 now.. im optimistic about a current gen release. I would love to see a comeback to the alien vs predator games to the new consoles, preferably Xbox one. The game from 2010 was amazing and I don’t see how people can dislike such a great game. Many people are attached and still go back to play it, including me. I would love to have a game on Xbox one closely made to the 2010 game but with minor changes such as, you can customize your species, mask, armor, skin, dreads, and colo . Along with other variations for the alien but also javeing preset skins. If they do make a game I would love to see multiplayer just similar to the current but with more playable maps. I really wish they would create a next gen alien vs predator game… avp 2010 is a brilliant game on ps3 why there’s a lot of people who don’t like it don’t make sense to me I agree with Jacob and Dylan chop chop rebellion cant wait for another adrenaline fueled chaos game there should have been a update for the first but still fun regardless I would like to see predators close up executions look more revolting in a new game though saying that the ones in avp 2010 did impress me excellent gore for both aliens good graphics as a whole. for the new avp if they make one free roam into jungles and into city passes would be good as well as keeping the original game matches in avp 2010. they should make so predator can climb sky scrapers like in avp 2 film I could write on here for hours on end for ideas for the next avp game but aint got all day/year lol. Think about it like this, a game where you can choose alien or predator. Become your choice, in an open world(s) you can do quests, level up your character, maybe customize your character a little, upgrade your armor, weapons, and abilities. Possibly have some evolve thing that allows your character to change into an evolved form. For an alien they could change into that queen or king type deal. For a predator, they could evolve into that big version like from the newest movie predator that came out in 2010. I know you something about not mentioning the movies but just think about how cool running around with your friends as an alien or predator doing bounties or even fight each other in team death matches as alien and predator. And for people without internet make a. Campaign type deal kind like borderlands or skyrim where people without internet can still enjoy the game. P.S. You could also do a spilt screen like borderlands. When playing as a predator, you should have the ability to switch through different visions for thermal, instead of the clear, green and heat, for example the predator 2 movie, the predator had 10 different visions, and oh yeah the open world thing would be sweet and have different seasons and make the kill cams deadly and gory. Open world. Be the alien or predator in an open world. Avp 2010 was a good game just felt abit rushed that’s all given more time I think rebellion would have nailed it I for one welcome them giving it another go but don’t let Sega have a say let rebellion release what ever they want for it and if an update needs doing let them do it.I enjoyed the marine campaign but was just a tad too short and would have been better with more on screen enemies and 4 player co-op would make a good experience. Add what the original predator characters had, like one blade rather than two on both sides. Create your own predator, color of skin, hair, armor, mask, how tall or short, skinny or big, thin or muscular. Same goes with if you are playing with an alien or a human. play as the alien queen, ellen ripley, dutch, mac, billy, Alien Chestburster, Facehugger, dog alien, machiko naguchi. Aliens vs. Predator. This return to a beloved series is brutal enough, but it doesn't pack the punch of its forebears. by Kevin VanOrd on Feb 15, 2010 09:00 AM. When three mediocre games are jammed into a single package, the result is still mediocre. That's unfortunate, because Aliens vs. Predator is a game you want to love. It comes from the developer of the beloved first game in the AVP series, and like that game, it features three distinct campaigns with three somewhat differing styles of play. And of course there is the undeniable fact that predators and aliens are awesome, and the idea of controlling them in a game is just as awesome. But concept and nostalgia aren't enough to make Aliens vs. Predator worth playing, though certain moments will make you squirm in delight in spite of the game's noteworthy flaws. Sadly, the sight of the predator as he rips the spine out of his human victims is a short-lived joy because of the general clumsiness that invades almost every aspect of developer Rebellion's newest addition to the franchise. The recycled levels are poorly designed, control issues make playing as the alien a chore rather than a pleasure, and numerous minor defects weigh the whole experience down. Most importantly, Aliens vs. Predator's campaigns just aren't much fun, and while the multiplayer is somewhat better, it's unlikely to be your go-to online shooter. Aside from its storied history, Aliens vs. Predator's main appeal is its three disparate campaigns, in which you respectively take control of a marine, an alien, and a predator. Each campaign has its strengths and starts well enough. The first two levels of the marine story, which plays as a fairly typical first-person shooter, are dark and creepy, making good use of atmospheric lighting to enhance the tension. Your first encounter with a creepy-crawly xenomorph is properly nerve-racking and will have you searching about in the dark, using your handy motion tracker to try to figure out exactly where it is (while trying to bear with the tracker's incessant beeping). Playing as the alien, your escape from the confines of a laboratory features some good old-fashioned bloody head-chomping, and there is some short-lived fun in crawling all over the walls and ceilings. And the predator offers his own delights. It can be fun to leap from surface to surface while you gaze down at hapless marines as they stroll underneath and you prepare for a gloriously disgusting kill. But in each campaign, the thrill wears off quickly when you discover that Aliens vs. Predator botches a lot of the basics, and what seems thrilling at first becomes downright tedious as you struggle with poorly designed levels and gawky gameplay. For example, the dark thrills of the first marine levels give way to tedium once you leave the dark behind and enter jungles and temples, which are far less interesting and make shooting the grotesque xenomorphs no different from shooting up raptors in Turok--except that the levels are much more confined and straightforward. Eventually, you'll learn that the same trick in combat dispatches aliens almost every time: block their attack, smash them with a melee attack, and shoot them when they're down. This doesn't work when there are a lot of them, but it gets the job done more often than not. That doesn't mean the marine campaign is a cakewalk; some levels feature annoying choke points or give you too little room to maneuver, which makes certain sections feel more cheap than challenging. Come 'ere and give me a big sloppy kiss. The alien campaign is interesting at first, thanks to a number of cool abilities that are initially fun but ultimately can't compensate for some major mechanical malfunctions. For instance, it seems fun at first to crawl around on walls and ceilings, until the awkward controls suck all the pleasure out of it. You are supposed to hold the right trigger to scamper onto a wall, but in actuality, there's no consistency to wall- and ceiling-climbing. You'll crawl onto some walls and outcroppings willy-nilly whether or not it's what you intended to do. You'll try to activate one of the game's super-picky button prompts and jump onto a wall instead, or wrestle with the controls and camera trying to do something as simple as slither into a vent. You'll eventually learn to wield some control over the alien's fickle movement, but even then, moving around isn't all that enjoyable. You never feel in control of an actual creature; instead, it's as if you are floating just above the ground. Sadly, the troublesome movement gets in the way of your sneaky attacks. It can be mild fun to get in position above an unsuspecting marine and pounce, but the unwieldy movement and haphazard level design make it much more enjoyable just to stay on the ground. For example, you might try to pounce from a wall onto a passing victim, only for a beam to get in the way and cause you to drop right in front of your enemy without doing a bit of damage. Yet as clunky as it gets, you'll have fun when everything comes together in just the right way. Playing as the alien is all about hit-and-run tactics, speeding close to your prey or ambushing him, and either taking him out with a swipe of your powerful tail or speeding away if the action heats up. Executing a well-planned attack can be fulfilling, though the game doesn't create many such moments, leaving you to make them of your own accord. Like the alien, the predator relies on stealth to be most effective, and to that end, you can go invisible-ish and lead enemies to a designated spot by distracting them. You need to suspend your disbelief when distracting marines; they respond to your vile grunts with a cheerful quip like "I'm on my way," as if they heard a friendly call for help rather than the disgusting growls of a stalking menace. But the distractions are helpful, letting you position yourself just right to pull off one of Aliens vs. Predator's beautifully brutal trophy kills. You yank your foe's head and spine right out of his body, stare into his terrified eyes, and stroke the dangling bit of anatomy. It's gross in all the right ways and is the most satisfying aspect of the game's single-player experience. You commit similar atrocities as the alien, the best of which provide a terrific view of your victim's horrific end--from inside your own mouth. Upside down… Boy you turn me inside out. Unfortunately, irritating mechanical and level design limits yank all the fun out of scurrying around (in the case of the alien) and leaping from one destination to the next (in the case of the predator). Some levels require you to move about only in ways the developer intended. You might want to scamper up and over an obstacle, only to run into an invisible wall or ceiling; and as the predator, you can leap to certain surfaces but not to others for reasons that don't always make sense. Why can you leap 20 feet to one spot, while you can't hop over a six-inch barbed-wire fence? There just don't seem to be any consistent rules in place, which makes the act of simply moving from place to place feel sloppy and unsatisfying. The inconsistencies apply to the AI as well. Enemy humanoids will do incredibly stupid things like take cover on the wrong side of a wall, exposing their backs to you. Sometimes, their ability to notice you even when you're camouflaged borders on the magical; other times, they're all but oblivious to your presence from two inches away. Civilians even run into the corner and cower with their backs to you in the alien campaign, clearly waiting to be harvested rather than making an authentic attempt to escape. Intelligence just isn't Aliens vs. Predator's strong suit. The marine campaign avoids some of these pratfalls, instead falling victim only to its own lack of ambition. After the first excellent levels, the lights get turned on and rarely go off, and everything becomes tepid and ordinary. It turns out to be just another everyday shooter checking off the old cliches; like in so many other shooters, you're a rookie learning the ropes, guided by the voice of an unseen comrade, a device the game loves so much, it uses it twice. You would think that boss fights would increase the energy levels, and a battle that ends in a boss engulfed in flames hits exactly the right notes. Unfortunately, none of the other boss battles, from the easily exploited final boss of the marine campaign to the final battle of the predator portion, feel fierce or intense. That's too bad, because the story, while not exactly groundbreaking, does its best to establish some tension, and much of the voice acting is grand and dramatic. The alien and predator campaigns are less interested in narrative, but the viciousness of your actions and a few delicious cutscenes tell a tale nonetheless. In this level, you shoot things. The game's online features are much more promising, for while they still suffer from some of the campaign's mechanical weaknesses, there's some pure fun to be had when you mix marines, predators, and aliens together. Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch give you a chance to mess with each species' strengths and weaknesses, and they successfully incorporate aspects of the single-player game, such as the energy nodes that predators use to keep their plasma casters charged. The game's sense of clumsiness hovers over matches, but it's still satisfying to play as a marine and successfully fend off a scurrying xenomorph as he moves in for the kill, even when the super-sticky targeting removes some of the edge from your victory. In Infestation, one player starts as the alien and converts his marine foes into fellow xenomorphs, while Predator Hunt is an advanced version of tag in which one player begins as the predator and seeks to make another player "it." These modes are the most fun, partially because they embrace the differences between species, rather than trying to incorporate them into something more traditional. The game even includes its own take on the ever-popular "kill off waves of enemies" co-op mode, here called Survivor. Survivor is not as exciting as what you'd find in similar modes in Gears of War 2 and Halo 3: ODST, but the two maps you play on capture some of the creepiness that characterizes the first two chapters of the marine campaign. It's the little things that really drag the game down. Aliens vs. Predator seems to be a well-meaning attempt at reinvigorating a languishing series, but grotesque kills and some entertaining multiplayer moments don't cut it--not when so many slick and exciting shooters are on store shelves, vying for your time. The attention to detail, the well-considered level design, and the sense of momentum that characterize the finest shooters are missing here. Aliens vs. Predator is sometimes enjoyable but never escapes an overwhelming sense of carelessness, so while it may remind you of the good old days, it fails to recapture them. Aliens vs. Predator Review. Where the multiplayer stumbles a bit is in the total of lack of expandability. I understand that there's a concern with balance, but the fact that you gain only new skins and no new abilities as you level up your character is a real drag. Couple that with a few questionable design decisions, like the whole game quitting when the host leaves or drops his connection, and the multiplayer package is slightly less attractive. Where the adversarial play drops the ball, the cooperative mode known as Survival is right there to pick up the slack. You and up to three buddies can hop into a map and take on endless waves of Aliens. It's modeled after the many Horde-style modes that we've seen before, and it works quite well. But as with so much of what AVP offers, there is a fault. For whatever reason Rebellion decided to package only two co-op maps in the standard edition of Aliens vs. Predator, thus limiting your play experience significantly. In case you haven't seen the trend developing in this review, for every positive note, there seems to be a negative one. There are next to no glaring issues – less a few unsightly bugs – but nearly everything in AVP is held back by one of its faults. Thankfully the overall experience is enjoyable, especially if you're a fan who has been disappointed by the movies, but it really could've benefited from some more time in development to give it that needed layer of polish. Speaking of polish, nowhere is it needed more than in the visuals. While the marine campaign looks fine thanks to the closed-off corridors and poorly-lit spaces, it's when you see the wide-open space in the Predator's levels that things go awry. Texture work is bad with muddled surfaces and objects and the framerate, despite the lack of general detail, dips below the desired 30 frames per second all too often. The color palette is also very drab, despite most of the outdoor action taking place in a jungle with plenty of greens that could've brought things to life. Though the visuals aren't stunning, the sound effects are quite impressive. Every sound that should be recognizable from the Alien and Predator worlds comes through just as you remember them. From the marine's machine guns to the Predator switching between different vision modes to the Alien's unpleasant hissing sound, it's all here. Sadly the voice acting, less Lance Henriksen as Weyland, is subpar. The story isn't all that good to begin with – nor does it need to be – but it's not aided by characters that lack emotion. Aliens vs. Predator could have been a truly great game. It&#Array;s there, you can almost feel it, but it&#Array;s constantly ripped away from you because of some poor design decisions and a general lack of quality that keeps the game from having that triple-A feeling. It&#Array;s by no means a bad game and will almost certainly please fans more so than either movie effort, but when compared to other first-person shooter titles on the market, the difference is clear. © 1996-2018 Ziff Davis, LLC. There, they make an even more terrifying discovery: two alien races at war. No matter who wins, we lose. An incredible and horrific adventure begins when billionaire industrialist Charles Bishop Weyland gathers an international team of archaeologists, scientists and security experts, led by environmentalist and adventurer Alexa “Lex” Woods, to investigate a mysterious “heat bloom” emanating from deep under Antarctica. Alien vs predator 3 xbox one

by Leon Hendrix III. If you've ever seen Alien or it's equally impressive follow-up Aliens, you're probably with me when I say that the past few Alien, Aliens, Alien vs. Predator, etc. have been enough to make James Cameron roll over in his giant pile of Avatar-related money (onto his other giant pile of Titanic-related money). Even though the acclaimed director is probably too busy focusing on the impending Oscar race and his "competition", something tells me that the newest AVP game still wouldn't get the Cameron stamp of approval. That's not to say that Aliens vs. Predator is a bad game. It's a very serviceable attempt at an FPS game that provides a few tweaks to the traditional formula. Gameplay is familiar enough to make sense and diverse enough to earn a few hours of patience. And let's not forget, the AVP name is enough to bring in a few hardcore fanboys. The big "but" here is a common problem in video games these days; there simply isn't enough weight here to make a splash. FPS fans will want a more polished or at least a more unique experience, casual gamers will want more accessible characters, and AVP fans will probably want more story than a couple of single-player modes can provide. The endgame here is pretty clear-almost everyone who has a reason to play this game could find a better reason to play another. AVP's single-player campaign is really three short stories told from the point of view of human, alien, and predator characters depending on which you select. These individual stories are an interesting idea and the gameplay is diverse enough to support Rebellion's decision. The stories, level design, and combat mechanics are all driven by the individual star of the show. Say you select the alien character, Six; a video prologue tells the story of an alien spawn which, after violently bursting from the chest (and throat) of a human test subject, is captured and kept for research. As the sixth xenomorph under observation by human scientists, you race along the corridors of a research facility and hunt down your captors using alien attributes. The stories are watchable, not memorable, and they provide enough of a pretext for a few hours of blasting, mauling, or impaling as the situation dictates. Playing as each character provides a marked difference in gameplay-predators feel like methodical hunters. They move slowly through environments, rely on stealth, distract and lure hapless humans, and cloak before leaping in close to strike foes. Alien combat is a bit different: players will crawl along ceilings and walls, slash at lights to hide in the shadows, and move at lightning speeds to harvest civilians for "face-huggers" or take bites out of their quarry. Soldiers rely on a variety of weapons and explosives to tame the wild extraterrestrial masses. Marines can use melee attacks as well, and predators have some long distance attack capability, but for the most part gamers are choosing between alien speed and human ingenuity. The predator for some inexplicable reason seems the weakest of the pack. Rebellion has worked with the AVP universe before, and it's familiarity with the characters is apparent in some of its choices but lacking in others. They managed to strike a chord between totally isolating new gamers from the experience and sacrificing the core of series favorites. The philosophy manages to handicap gameplay, however, as the basic controls and attacks become bland and rote very quickly. Within a few hours (or less) you will have seen most of the "quick kill" and "stealth kill" animations. I put them in quotations here because I'm not sure how stealthy impaling someone on a bony tail blade is, but it certainly isn't very quick, but we'll get to that. It's not that these images are so unbearable, but after a while things just get boring. I never really thought I'd say this, but another blade through the eyes? Yawn. AvP3 Rumours. Current Status of AvP3. Alien vs Predator 3 is in the rumoured phase. We’ve heard nothing about another sequel since AvP Requiem was released. Producer John Davis mentioned in September 2008 that they’ve logically done all they can do with the AvP franchise. “I think we’ve logically done what we could’ve done with the two AVP movies. But I think there’s something to go back to with Predator.” John Davis. The Director of AvP3. Colin and Greg Strause. Colin and Greg Strause were adamant that they wanted to make Aliens vs Predator 3 when they were making AvP Requiem . They essentially wanted to make an AvP film in space, in the future but by the time they were hired, 20th Century Fox had already decided to go with Salerno’s script set on Earth. They incorporated elements of their ideas into the second film such as the Predator planet. ADI duo Tom Woodruff and Alec Gillis are also contenders for the director’s chair. Having worked on the alien special effects in each movie since Aliens , Tom Woodruff revealed in April 2008 that he and Alec Gillis had aspirations to direct AvP Requiem themselves. Nobody specific has been mentioned though it’s doubtful anybody who appeared in the first two AvP films would appear in the third. AvP3 Storyline. The storyline for AvP3 is anybody’s guess. From the beginning, fans have wanted an Alien vs Predator film to take place in space far in the future. The Strauses had a few of their own ideas for a potential storyline. One of the ideas took place after Aliens and another one involved the space jockey creature seen in the original Alien . Of course, a movie set in space is costly and it’s obvious the studio doesn’t want to take the risk. If Alien vs Predator 3 does ever get the greenlight we could end up with another poor Earth-based setting. Shane Salerno also pitched a story to Fox where the Predator ship crashed in Afghanistan and the movie revolved around a special forces team. Cancel Reply. I am watching alien vs predator requiem soon but I saw alien. vs predator and if there is an avp3 please do not make it more graphicy, I do not like things too creepy my parents are. barely letting me see Alien vs predator requiem although I. know the whole storyline and everything on alien vs predator. i love and am obsessed with alien and predator and neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed to know if they are going to make another avp movie and for once put it in the aliens time line and make a facehugger get on something besides a humman or a predator. just make a movie based on Tim Lebbon’s AVP books, simple as that. Please please please make the AVP3 movie. I hope they Make AVP 3 They should make Alexa woods return Since She Dissapers in the first film in avp 2014. it would be better if predators have advance update. Oh man! Pls come out AvP 3.. The Predator shouldn’t be die.. . AVP was average AT BEST and AVPR was horrible. If they ever do another it needs to be done in space, with real actors and an actual story rather than the tripe they used in AVPR as NONE of the characters were likable in requiem. A LOT of you have idea’s that go well past the point of being moronic. It’s bad idea’s like you alls that have turned out horrible movies like all the new star trek movies, all the live action transformer movies, the garbage known as A Farce Awakens and Rogue One. AVP3 is a must. Its should be a three way adding in the USCSMC from Aliens. Marines respond to a colony that lost contact, after they deploy a Yaurja cruiser destroys the marine ship in orbit and of course the colonist had found the Xenomorphs somehow…. You should make another avp movie. They should wait till after Ridley’s finished the Prometheus trilogy. Of They do avp 3 it needs to be directed by someone else … The Strause brothers are obviously brothers of Paul Anderson ….. No talent at all …. Better actors please. Better director ….. Better writers …. Better story. Better everything …. These monsters need someone like Vicente Natali ( cube ) or Rupert Wyatt There’s a bunch of good directors …. Why to avoid them …. There’s so much to do. How being so bad with monsters and stories like that How it’s possible to make crap like avp and avpr Listen to the fans …. They almost killed the franchises. Please mr Mac Tiernan … Mr Stephen Hopkins you are our only hope ….. They need to connect Predator 2018 and Alien Covenant somehow and make AVP3. If there will be an avp 3 it would really boost both of these franchises.

October 19, 2009 - In space no one can hear you scream. Why is that? Because it's a vacuum. I once played a game in a vacuum… I guess you could say I got sucked in. Writing previews is like writing in a vacuum. There is no immediate response. I'm all alone and faced with the knowledge that in a vacuum no one can hear me type. So am I about to get sucked in to getting all excited about the upcoming Aliens vs. Predator game? Yes, there was a game by that same title a decade-and-a-half ago. An undeniable classic, but unfortunately it spawned a series of less-than-inspired sequels. I must say that my investigation into this new offering has indeed got me excited. And with the addition of an online component that will accommodate up to 18 players, you won't feel like you're in a vacuum. So go ahead and start screaming because everyone can hear you. Aliens vs. Predators has several months before it's released, so some features of the game that I report may change. This is the most recently updated info I've got, so don't shoot the messenger if the developers decide to leave something out. However, the game is loaded with action and features, so it's doubtful you'll miss anything, although I'm really rooting for the multiplayer modes. In Aliens vs. Predators you will actually be able to play as the Aliens, the Predators, and humans (in the form of Colonial Marines). So right off the bat you're getting more than the title suggests. Each of the factions will have an entirely different feel. While the objective for all is to kill the enemy, the methods and scenarios will vary significantly for each faction. Get exclusive PC Game Trainers at Cheat Happens. Aliens are powerful and primal. They are fast, furious, and merciless. Aliens are the perfect killing machine. With orders from the Queen, they must seek prey and return it to their hive where it will be harvested. Aliens have the ability to climb a variety of surfaces, suspending themselves upside down. Their attacks are quick and unexpected. Masters at close range combat, they have retractable teeth that can extend to grasp their prey. Tails are used to poke eyes out. Aliens are also very resilient, as they will continue fighting with severed limbs, crawling after their attackers if rendered legless. Fighting in packs, they will attempt to flank their enemy, distracting them while other Aliens attack from different sides. They also have acidic blood that will burn through steel. So if you're faced with the prospect of blasting one's head open, you're going to get burned, possibly to death. It's quite a deterrent. The Aliens do not use weapons, so they are ineffective at ranged combat. The further away you are from the Aliens, the safer you are. The Marines actually started this whole mess. They desecrated one of the Predators' temples, and accidentally stirred the Alien Queen who was living beneath it. The Marines are equipped with an incredible array of cutting edge technology and weapons. And they need it, as they are no match for either the Aliens or Predators without their toys. In a unique twist, when playing as the Marines the perspective of the game will slightly shift genres to a survival-horror scenario. This perspective is similar to that of the original Alien movies. Encountering these dangerous species during your regular patrol, you will find yourself in typical survival-horror situations and locations. Long, winding corridors may contain a shock at any time. Lights will suddenly go out, plunging you into total darkness where the only illumination will be from the muzzle of your gun. A radar system will help detect the presence of Aliens, but as the beeping intensifies, so does your heart rate. Turrets are capable of detecting Predators that are cloaked in invisibility. But regardless of the Marine's technologies, they will always be the hunted and not the hunter. That's the title bestowed upon the Predator. You might say the Predator is calm, cool, and collected. He's the ultimate hunter, making stealth his favored method. The Predator has many unique tools at his disposal including numerous blades and blasters. Employing a cloaking device at the push of a button renders the Predator invisible. He is not silent, however, so it must be careful not to alert enemies in close proximity. The Predator can also make use of infrared vision to see enemies in the dark. Using the unique and incredibly useful Focus Mode, the Predator is able to glean all kinds of information on the surroundings including the location of enemies. As a hunter, the Predator attempts to divide his prey into smaller groups as he is unlikely to survive a melee. All of these weapons, tools, and systems come at a price for the Predator. Everything he activates will cost him energy. Although he will receive boosts for trophy kills, he will also have to find other sources of energy renewal on the planet. Cross-species play is being developed for the online multiplayer component. Up to 18 players can take part in all three platforms. The developers are busy attempting to balance things. Playing as the Marines, a four-player co-op mode will have you and three other friends defending yourselves from hordes of enemies. Each wave of attack will increase in difficulty as you progress. The storyline it tight, with the gameplay following a linear path to maintain a fast pace and keep things in order. The developers are mindful to keep the missions and locations varied to avoid any sense of loss of freedom that could be caused by such linear gameplay. The graphics are looking fantastic, getting closer to movie-production standards, and for a game this ambitious, it would be disappointing if it didn't set new standards.
