If not, run your plastic opening tool around the corner and pop the clips along the side without the USB port. Starting with the spudger you left in the crack, pry the upper case up to free the last few clips. Use a plastic opening tool to pop any straggler clips that weren't freed. Do not try to remove the upper case yet, as it is still connected by the front panel button cable. Lift the upper case slightly and shift it to give access to the front panel board. The front button cable has a unique ZIF connector—pay attention to the next few steps to safely disconnect it. Use tweezers to lift the plastic retaining loop over the connector on the board. Use the tip of a spudger to push the connector's locking tab toward the cable to unlatch it. Schritt 10. Use tweezers to pull the cable straight out of the connector on the board. Line up the clips and press firmly to re-seat them around the perimeter. Schritt 13. Support the front panel near the front of the Xbox. Use tweezers to replace the front button cable in its ZIF socket. Use the flat end of a spudger to push the ZIF lock to the left to secure the cable. Schritt 14. The lower edge of the front panel has plastic hooks that interlock with plastic hooks on the front edge of the lower case. With the front panel at a 45 degree angle, interlock its plastic hooks with those in the lower case. Push the top of the front panel into the Xbox, like closing a mailbox. Press firmly so that the clips securing the front panel to the upper case lock securely. Schritt 15 Upper Metal Case. Gently pull up on the speaker cable connector to disconnect it from the front panel board. Be careful to pull up on the cable's connector and not the connector on the board. It's pretty flimsy and you might accidentally pull it off the board entirely. Use the flat end of a spudger to disconnect the antenna cable from the front panel board. Schritt 16. Remove the two 9.5 mm T9 Torx screws from the WI-Fi board. Lift the Wi-Fi board straight up from its socket in the upper metal case. Leaving the Wi-Fi board antenna cable in place, move the Wi-Fi board aside, exposing the screw labeled "C3" that was beneath it. Schritt 17. Remove the eight 65 mm Torx T10 screws from the top of the upper metal case. Two of the 8 were stripped even before attempting to remove….ugggh. Schritt 18. Lift—but do not remove—the upper metal case. The Wi-Fi board interconnect cable connects the upper metal case to the motherboard. Schritt 19. Disconnect the Wi-FI board interconnect cable from the motherboard. Remove the upper metal case. Schritt 20 Hard Drive Assembly. Disconnect the hard drive SATA power and data cables from the motherboard. I found that it is not necessary to take out the hard drive in order to remove the front panel module. If you can lift the whole metal enclosure a little to get to the right most torx screw, then you do not need to move the hard drive. Schritt 21. Lift and remove the hard drive tray from the Xbox. Schritt 22 Optical Drive Assembly. Disconnect the optical drive power and SATA data cables from the motherboard. Schritt 23. Remove the optical drive assembly from the Xbox. Schritt 24 Fan. Disconnect the fan cable from the motherboard. What happens if you pull the pins out of the white piece in accident? Schritt 25. The fan is held onto the heat sink with four sturdy plastic clips. By prying the two exposed clips up out of their channel in the heat sink, you'll be able to tilt the fan up and off of the heat sink. Use a spudger and plastic opening tool to gently and evenly pry the right clip up out of its channel in the heat sink. Be careful not to put pressure downward onto the motherboard, or to pull the heat sink up against the motherboard. Schritt 26. Repeat for the left clip. Again, using a combination of a spudger and plastic opening tool to evenly pull the plastic clip up out of its channel in the heat sink. When there is enough of a gap between the fan and the heat sink, insert the spudger between the two, and pry up to remove the fan. Schritt 27. Use LEFT on the dPad to activate mod functions. Up on the dPad is used to access secondary modes and other functions. Mod Button. An additional Mod Button can be installed in to your controller or mod. It will enable you to not have to use LEFT on the dPad. IE: (2 flashes = Mode 2) (3 flashes = Mode 3) PREVIOUS MODE – To go back to the previous mode hold the “right trigger” along with the “LEFT” button for 4 seconds. Hold LEFT and UP. Many of the modes of this mod have sub modes or secondary functions. These modify or change the parent mode. Each of the different modes that have sub modes will have their explanations in that mode. Jitter takes advantage of a glitch in most COD and FPS games allowing for faster firing of just about all weapons including shotguns and 3-Round burst weapons. This mode may not work on ALL GAMES as it has been patched. Hold Y and tap LEFT. How to Activate Jitter – To activate the Jitter Mod HOLD the “Y” button and tap “LEFT”. Change the number of shots fired by tapping “LEFT” on the dPad to increase the number of shots fired when the trigger is pulled and “RIGHT” to decrease the number of shots fired when the trigger is pulled. Reflex Remapping – Reflex buttons are additional buttons which can be added to the back of your controller at the time of purchase. Reflex buttons replicate and of the standard controller buttons: A, B, X, Y, RT, LT, RB, LB, L3, R3, UP, DOWN, LEFT or RIGHT. These Buttons are set by default to replicate A or B. However they can be changed to any of the above mentioned buttons within the controllers programming mode. Once in the programming mode just HOLD one of the Reflex buttons and TAP the button you want to assign to it. The main LED will flash 3 times quickly to confirm your change.If you tap the controller button which is already assigned to the reflex button, this will disable the button and the main LED will have 1 long flash. The button will then not do anything when pressed until it is reassigned to a new controller button.
