Assassin's Creed: Ezio Collection for PS4, Xbox One Outed by Ratings Board.
Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection may be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, according to a listing on the Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee website.
Spotted by NeoGAF user catmario, the collection presumably includes Assassin's Creed II, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, and Assassin's Creed: Revelations — the three games starring Italian assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze. The Ezio Collection was first announced as a PlayStation 3 exclusive and released in 2012.
IGN has reached out to Ubisoft for comment and will update this story with any new information should we hear back.
Assassin's Creed II first released in 2009, followed by Brotherhood in 2010, and Revelations in 2011.
Earlier this year, Ubisoft confirmed there wouldn't be a new Assassin's Creed game released in 2016. According to CEO Yves Guillemot, moving away from annual releases will give the development teams more time to take advantage of new engines and technology.
The next entry in the series will reportedly be released in 2017. According to the report, the game is set in Egypt and is codenamed Empire.
An Assassin's Creed movie, however, will be released this year. Starring Michael Fassbender, Assassin's Creed: The Movie hits theaters December 21.

These games are a good choice to buy if you didn't play these games before. I know this Ezio is back!! in XBOX ONE, WITH 3 AWESOME GAMES.
These games are a good choice to buy if you didn't play these games before. I know this remaster isn't that good, but i'm sure that new players, WILL LOVE IT.
Finally, as an old AC player I have played these before, I know the plot, everything about these games but WHO CARES? Good game, 10/10, Buy it. It deserves all your money.
Also do you know that you can get TRIPLE ACHIEVEMENTS? … Expand.
I truly do not I was an am an Assassins Creed fan. My fav game by far is revelations, although I like ACB and ACII as well very much.
I truly do not understand the mixed reviews. I am on a curved HDR 4K Samsung TV and XONE S 2TB. Revelations graphics are stunning, they really worked on them. I did not try ACII or ACB yet but we simply cannot expect wonder from a remaster of 3(!) games for this price.
I recommend this remaster for everybody. … Expand.
Continuous pop ups and things appearing out of thin air. Also the the textures are rough in some places. This collection is for certain dated but the charm of Ezio's journey is what makes it worth to check out for people who love assassins creed and never played these games.

GREAT SERIES!
The only reason it won't get five stars from me is the fact that even though it is remastered; like always, Ubisoft pushes out broken & unfinished games. AC is absolutely not an exception. You WILL encounter bugs that you have to conciously work around as to keep your game from crashing. Example being throwing a smoke bomb directly at guards in ACR will 100% of the time cause your game to crash. Ubisoft is awful & this series deserves better. It's not like you're building a game from the ground up. Why is it so hard to patch bugs.

Ezio Auditore De Lalala.
I miss Ezio and the others. the other ACs were great! but AC 2-Rev will always be my favorites. This trilogy got me through tough personal times so it will always be meaningful for me 😢 anyways looking forward to AC Origins.

The best AC has to offer.
These are hands down the top three AC games, with all the single player dlc and movies this cant be beat. Now they just need AC3 on bc and you could play every AC right here on the xbox one. If you have never played AC do yourself a favor and start with this Ezio is one of the best character's in gaming, with this collection you will see his life from birth to death, his losses and loves and his beautiful but tragic tale about how his loss as a young man sends him on a path of revenge that spans his life time. You will unravel mysteries explore forgotten tombs and change the course of history. These games still look great even years later so with the enhanced graphics they will be even better, the soundtrack is a highlight and the voice acting top notch. This is open world gaming at its best and these games helped set the standards for the top open world games of today. Hope this review helps see you in the brotherhood.

Wait until a $30 or less price drop.
This collection is average at best. If you played it previously on the 360 or PS3 you'll realize fast it's a straight-up port 😆 (its a cheap $ grab) AC2 has aged poorly the controls feel "Off" A smoke and mirrors release rushed due to movie and quick cash flow using a established "Brand" Ubisoft should've just made the 360 versions backwards compatibile.

The AC that made AC GREAT.
I've always enjoyed AC and the Ezio trilogy is AC at it's best. The only reason I don't give a five star rating is that the controls (particularly in the ACII part) were always tough. Unforgiving. And now Ubisoft, in their wisdom, have done something I would have sworn to be impossible; they've made bad controls worse. Still worth playing by a longshot, tho', especially if you got it on sale.

One of my top 5 series'
Really enjoyable storyline from the very beginning until the end.

All of these games are amazing. Ezio's complex yet enjoyable storyline is great. This game is fun for those who don't know the story, & nostalgic for those who do. Just one of these games is worth $60, but you get all three games in one. Edit: I see all the complaints about the graphics, and yes they aren't the best, but quit being a baby about it. Sure, its doesn't have the best 4K HD graphics that you so preciously need, but it exceeds what is needed. If you don't believe me just watch a game clip. It's not all about the graphics, its about the story. Trust me when I say this, these games DELIVER with this story.

Re-Release Not A Remaster.
I am not seeing any improvement in graphics. This is just a bundle of 3 classic AC games. Granted these were some of the best games in the franchise. The 2 short films would have been a nice improvement but they lack any way to pause, resume, fast-foward or, rewind. Don't press any button or you will go back to the menu and have to start from the beginning. $60 is a little steep for 3 old games with DLC plus 2 films. I should have waited for them to go on sale but I was expecting a true remaster not this. Ubisoft has been going downhill fast.

EZIO WAS THE ASSASSIN.
Some expect to much from these aged games. They are the and will always be great games. I didnt start the AC series for years after it released and I love it. I've played through these games several times and still enjoy going back to them every now and then. Glad to see the XB1 collection so i can revisit these on current gen console.

Remastered and packed with DLC material, Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Trilogy includes all three of Ezio Auditore da Firenze's legendary adventures: Assassin's Creed II (with all of its downloadable content,) Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, and Assassin's Creed Revelations. In addition to featuring the three games and their expansions with enhanced graphics, the collection also comes with Assassin’s Creed Embers and the three-part Assassin’s Creed Lineage, short films that dig into Ezio’s backstory and add an action-packed epilogue to the trilogy. <p> In Assassin's Creed II, meet Ezio -- the dashing hero of the Italian Renaissance -- as he embarks on a quest to avenge his fallen family members and uncover a despicable plot that threatens to plunge all of Italy into chaos! Assassin's Creed Brotherhood picks up immediately following the events of AC2, and follows Ezio as he delves deep into the heart of corruption in Rome, and rises to a position of prominence and leadership in the Brothe.

Assassin's Creed: Ezio Collection appeared on the Korean Ratings Board earlier this month, but now the compilation looks even more likely. French publication Gameblog has posted promotional material and multiple details about the still-unconfirmed collection.
Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection includes Assassin's Creed II, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, and Assassin's Creed: Revelations. Gameblog reports that the collection will feature a 1080p resolution running at 30 FPS, in addition to all of the three games' DLC and animated movies Assassin's Creed: Lineage and Assassin's Creed: Embers .
According to Gameblog, Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection releases this November on PS4 and Xbox One for 70€, which is typical for a full-priced title in France. The collection as a whole is still unconfirmed, but it wouldn't be surprising if it were to cost $60 in the United States.
We've contacted Ubisoft for comment on this apparent leak and will keep you updated as we receive more information.
Assassin's Creed II received a score of 9 in our review for its "huge, beautifully realized world to explore," Brotherhood was scored an 8.5 for having fantastic lairs and platforming sequences, and Revelations earned itself an 8 for its "new movement options [that] keep the platforming joyful."
An Assassin's Creed: Ezio Trilogy released on PS3 in 2012, though The Ezio Collection would likely be remastered for modern consoles. You can already play Assassin's Creed II on Xbox One through the backwards compatibility program.
The next Assassin's Creed game is expected to release in 2017. It's rumored to be set in Egypt, subtitled "Empire." It's said to be "a complete revamp of the series" featuring "a Witcher feel, with player progression" and a "freeform combat system." Ubisoft confirmed that it wouldn't release a new Assassin's Creed game this year but didn't divulge any other details about future games or collections in the series.

Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection Review.
Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection does a wonderful job of reminding me how great the three-game arc of Ezio Auditore's life story was on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, while also reminding me just how much the series has evolved and improved over the past seven years. But while the frame rate and load times in the Xbox One and PS4 compilation are a big improvement over last-gen’s original games, there are some baffling lighting and texture degradations throughout the trilogy.
Experiencing Ezio’s life from literal birth to death is still every bit as exciting and emotional as it was back in 2009. Watching him grow from a brash rogue to a contemplative elder remains fantastic, and aside from the dynamic between Syndicate’s siblings, my favorite story in the AC series. But playing through Assassin's Creed 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations highlights just how much the series’ gameplay has improved over the years. The horizontal and downward parkour of Black Flag and Unity made moving through their respective worlds a joy, which is something I can’t say about the ample moments where I found Ezio unintentionally clinging to surfaces around Italy. While I feel like I was able to forgive these hiccups back in 2009, it’s tough to stomach them in a post-Syndicate world.
The trilogy runs in 1080p at a steady 30 frames per second, which is great considering the framerate hiccups that existed across the original games, but disappointing in that Ubisoft couldn’t wring 60 frames out of a last-gen game. At least some of that power goes toward better draw distance, which alleviates some of the pop-in issues we saw on PS3 and 360. Sweeping shots of Rome and Constantinople when you unlock a viewpoint still look gorgeous, even in 2016. Also, the lengthy load times of the original games have also been vastly improved. This is especially noticeable and appreciated when you’re hopping back and forth between your villa and the open world.
But while the games generally use what appear to be the same hi-res textures as the PC versions from back in the day, there are lighting and texture issues peppered throughout the collection, most noticeably in Assassin’s Creed 2. This makes the world feel somewhat flat, and removes some of the life from the otherwise-bustling cities. Ubisoft hasn’t really improved how these games look, and certain NPC character faces look downright bizarre. Both of those issues pulled me out of the immersion.
Like the Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection, the Ezio Collection isn’t quite complete. It bundles in all of the trilogy’s single-player DLC, but strips away the multiplayer modes of Brotherhood and Revelations. That’s not a huge loss, since these were always single-player focused games, but something to be aware of. It also comes with Assassin’s Creed Lineage and Embers, a pair of short films that help fill in the corners of Ezio’s life story. While these are appreciated, it would’ve been nice to have some concept art or behind-the-scenes documentaries that let fans of the trilogy dive deeper into its development and legacy.
The biggest issue is I don’t know who to recommend this collection for. It doesn’t include enough improvements or bonus material to coax fans of the trilogy to jump back in, and it’s also hard to recommend it to newcomers to the series when later games like Black Flag and Syndicate look and play so much better.
Ezio’s trilogy helped build Assassin’s Creed into the giant franchise it is today thanks to its fantastic storytelling, amazing characters, and gorgeous world building. And while all of that is still here in The Ezio Collection, the lack of meaningful improvements and any sort of substantial bonus content make it a tough compilation to recommend.
Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection's story holds up, but I'm not sure who this compilation is for.
