Being a fan of the series since Rock Band 1 i have to say the game look better then ever from the lighting to the highway/notes. With Harmonix releasing updates every moth the game has come a long way since launch.. Every Tuesday feels like Christmas when new DLC is released there is something for everyone to enjoy from Rock, Metal, Emo, Country you name it's on here. Now onto the things i dislike I'm sorry Harmonix :( If you are a fan of the series you will notice a few things are missing for better or worse. The most important thing i think is Online Multiplayer. I know Harmonix is hard at work adding this soon but it should have been on the list before release. A few things are missing here and there but i think what makes this game worth picking is any non RBN DLC you owned before Rock Band 4 is free to download and play not many games do this i had over 1,400 songs carry over and i am still shocked they made this happen. I look forward to what Rock Band has to offer n the future.

As someone who owns all 4 RB games and 450+ dlc songs its really sad seeing how much this game lacks compared to rb3. Online multiplayer should have been part of the game from day 1. Sad that almost a year later theres still so much missing.

3 is better.
incomplete product, character customization is lacking a lot. the menus are not user friendly, & people should always have the option to play with their friends online from day one launch. there isnt a zoom out feature when i pick out my hair & im a female with long hair & want better options with that in the game as well with a zoom feature to view how it looks at a distance & a spin option would be nice to. where is the pitch correction on the vocals i needed that for help on some of the hard to sing male vocal songs :( i have a high range feminine voice. & the export & dlc stuff has been a big let down & far from easy to use & navigate. the fans shouldnt have to pay for the mistakes the company has made. & im not the only one who thinks these things as my friends have said rb3 is better by far we are all disappointed. you need to update this tons to compete. this was your chance to take the spotlight from guitar hero yet both games dropped the drumsticks this time. :'(

fun. could have better music.
holds true to the franchise. im glad the previous dlc is still good on this game. only complaint is the disc tracks are the worst yet. just wish there were a few more mainstream songs/artists. rivals is a cool expansion. plenty of dlc songs available although a little pricey.

the game's core gameplay is fun. for about 10 minutes. after that, the game becomes boring and stale. charging 30 f***ing dollars for a multiplayer mode that should've been available at release? if it wasn't for gamestop's bulls*** return policy i would've gotten my money back by now. from this point on, if i want a repetitive game that wants to sap my wallet, i'll just play call of duty.

Best Rock Band Yet.
Contrary to what one of the reviewers said, you can use your old instruments with the legacy adapter sold seperately. You can also export all previous rock band music as well as all the music you bought seperately for the game. You can purchase the instruments seperately online. The description for this game says you need to have/buy the instruments to play it. Its well done with a bunch of new modes being added by holiday 2016.

NO MULTIPLAYER.
Its very dissapointing to hear that you would need to purchase an expansion pack to play online. I dont understand why the developers decided to go this route when the past RB games were free online play. I've been a RB fan since the begining and have them all including over 1,000 songs, but to pay for online play is asking too much.

Fun party game as always.
Fans of rockband will be pleased it gets back to its roots and exemplifies the core concepts that made the first ones so fun. Though the soundtrack that launched with the game wasn't as packed as previous entries, being able to carry over and DLC content helps get you back into the groove.
