Modern Warfare 3 delivers a multiplayer experience that continues to raise the bar by focusing on fast-paced, gun-on-gun combat, along with innovative features that support and enhance a large variety of play-styles. Killstreaks have been redesigned, new game modes are being introduced, and a gun progression system evolves your weapons over time.
STRIKE PACKAGES.
Killstreaks have been transformed into Pointstreaks, now rewarding players both for landing kills and completing objectives. Additionally, they have been broken up into three different categories, known as Strike Packages: Assault, Support and Specialist.
WEAPON PROFICIENCIES.
Weapons now rank up through use, unlocking additional attachments, reticules, camos and the new proficiency category. Weapon Proficiencies allow you to specialize your weapons with helpful attributes, such as Kick for reduced recoil and Impact for deeper penetration through hard surfaces.
MODES & MATCH.
All sixteen maps have been optimized for natural movement and intense combat. Each environment presents its own strategies and challenges, and a diverse collection of locales keeps every match fresh and interesting. Iron Clad: With one player helming a tank and the other escorting it on foot, you’ll clear beaches and take cover in plane wreckage as you escape Hamburg from behind enemy lines in this all-new Special Ops Mission.

Arctic Recon : Requiring surgical precision by air, land, and sea, this new Special Ops mission tasks you with destroying a Russian battleship by planting beacons for an air strike. U-Turn : A bombed-out, gridlocked highway provides a perfect backdrop for combatants, where oil fields burn black high above six-lanes' worth of abandoned vehicles.
MW3 - COLLECTION 4.
Saluting Modern Warfare® 3's Season of Content, the fourth and final DLC collection deploys with five all-new Multiplayer Maps. Surrounded by mountains, " Gulch " sends combatants into a forgotten mining town with only mine shafts and equipment sheds for cover. The Jersey coast awaits in " Boardwalk ," where fun in the sun means facing enemies on the beach. Rounding out the collection is a trip to New Orleans’ war-torn French Quarter, where " Parish " pits players against one another amidst the city's rubble.

Modern Warfare 3, Oblivion Not Coming to Xbox One Backwards Compatibility, At Least Not Yet.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion are not coming to the Xbox One's backwards compatibility program, at least not yet. Both Xbox 360 titles recently appeared on the Xbox Live Black Friday sale site, described as games that are playable on Xbox One.
Microsoft's Major Nelson confirmed on Twitter that these listings were posted in error. The games have now been removed from the Xbox Live Black Friday sale site.
Modern Warfare 3 and Oblivion have not been ruled out for backwards compatibility, however, so they could come someday. Microsoft already has a relationship with the publishers of both titles, as Activision and Bethesda have games in the backwards compatibility catalog. Call of Duty: Black Ops is among the Call of Duty games already in the catalog, while Doom and Doom II are there as well.
Oblivion ($4.94) and Modern Warfare 3 ($15) are marked down right now as part of Xbox Live's Black Friday sale, which began on November 18. Check out this post to see a rundown of other discounted games.
There are more than 280 games in the Xbox One backwards compatibility program right now; see them all there.
November has been a big month for additions to the catalog. Mass Effect 2, Mass Effect 3, Skate 3, and Blue Dragon were all added. Microsoft's Phil Spencer said at the start of the month that November would be a "great" month for additions to the program.
The Xbox One's backwards compatibility feature launched a year ago this month with the New Xbox One Experience update. In celebration of the birthday, Microsoft recently revealed that people have spent 210 million hours playing Xbox 360 games on Xbox One since the feature launched. This is up from 145 million hours as of August 2016.
In other news about Xbox backwards compatibility, Microsoft engineering lead Mike Ybarra said recently that Project Scorpio will "of course" support backwards compatibility. The console goes on sale in holiday 2017.

Ruined by greed.
MP is no longer original. Many stat changing weapons that were NOT in the original have been added. Activision is banking on you buying Supply Drops to aquire them. Also unlike most other remasters which include their respective DLC, this one does not the include the variety map pack. So you'll have to pay an additional $15 for those maps.

A Classic Multiplayer Ruined by Publisher Greed.
Yet another CoD ruined by greed. Micro-transactions have ruined the CoD series. This game is a perfect example. Players didnt buy a remastered game only to have it severely altered, even damaged I would say. We wanted the original MW. This was CoDs last chance. If these microtransactions are not removed or drastically revised I will not buy CoD WWII or any other CoD. The degrade of this series is terrible to watch. Tread carefully CoD. Ive been playing since CoD Big Red One & I hate to see the series collapse like this. Its not too late to fix these errors. Despite your attempts to take advantage of the community you will find that most are forgiving & patient. However, this will not last forever. Stop ruining the series with these ridiculous microtransactions. Greed kill games.

You know the game, you know its history. A once great game has been remastered for the newest generation of gamer. the Wallet Warrior. Pretty soon maybe they make you buy in game ammo. Supply depot is worthless and not a new idea, (Lookin at you Battlefield). This franchise has strayed so far, originally started as a work of passion for gaming now its all profit at the sacrifice of quality. Well COD, i think we should see other people. When we first started you had so much drive, such love, but you've changed, you traded in your combat boots for a space suit, so its time to trade you in for something that can stay faithful. It just wont work out, after all, its you, not me.

Not my Cod4.
I throughly enjoyed replaying the campaign, the nostalgia was on point. After I beat it I switched to multiplayer to experience what I did damn near a decade ago. But you blew it, you dropped the ball. Just as the campaign all that a remastered edition needs and people want. is a graphics overhaul, what I got was a game with a new gen engine and design with an ols school skin. I dont recall supply drops or character skins 10 years ago, or miro transactions, for gods sake you are even charging. for the original dlc. I just cant believe it. Im done with activision and IW.

Not what I remembered.
Don't get me wrong, the single player is great and all that. Just when you get to multiplayer it's a different story. The mp is not the same. What I mean by that is the guns that was never apart of the original game. I'm fine with the supply drops when it was just purely cosmetics not game changing weapons.

The game that expects over $100 per player.
New guns not originally in COD 4 can be unlocked through a random roulette that is unlikely to work in your favor. Developers made this so players are more likely to purchase microtransactions so that they can make more than $80 off a single purchase. Now with the new map pack that costs $15 ($5 more than they were 10 years ago) they expect people to spend well over $100. Playerbase is also radically different than the real COD 4. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS GAME EXPECTING COD 4'S MULTIPLAYER. THE CAMPAIGN IS THE ONLY THING THAT IS ACTUALLY COD 4.

this is not like the original game. they added microtransactions and that is a big no no. if you want to beat the other players you need to purchase weapons. ill go play titanfall 2 and support respawn entertainment instead.

I loved this game when it first came out, and everything I love is still here. Now its just buried under a pile of utter crap. To start off, you can't even get the game without the vestigle parasite that is Infinate Warfare, even after a full year! This cuts down on the amount of new players entering the multiplayer and hurts the longevity of the game. It didn't have all the original maps on release (they patched them in later for free, but still) Then had the nads to ask for even more $ with a lewtcrate system. You can't even mount the normal "just cosmetics" counter argument because now you can get functionality different weapons out of them. After that Activision decided they needed to wring every friggin penny out of us by charging 15$ for UPDATES of maps that are almost 10 years old! Any nostalgia I had for this game was mangled and crushed by the flagrant corperate greed on display here. To anyone thinking of buying this: don't. Don't give money to these greedy sleezebags.

Great Looking Remaster.
Too bad I had to buy a terrible product (COD:IW) just so COD numbers look skewed enough to justify continuing to release careless, cookie cutter shooters yearly for another decade. Stop focusing on micro transactions for a bit, and work on releasing a game as enjoyable as MW and MW2 were.

Rumor: Oblivion and Modern Warfare 3 Coming to Xbox One.
Black Friday shoppers discover that the Xbox Live Marketplace lists Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion as backward compatible.
For Xbox Live Gold subscribers, the Xbox Live Marketplace’s Black Friday 2016 deals are now live, and they can purchase a variety of blockbuster releases on the cheap. The sale includes Xbox One games as well as backward compatible Xbox 360 titles, but Xbox Live has a couple of games listed as backward compatible that haven’t been added to the service yet – The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 .
On the Xbox 360 sales page, consumers can see The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 clearly grouped together with the other backward compatible games, and listed as playable on Xbox One. This seems to indicate that Oblivion and Modern Warfare 3 will be added to the service any minute, but at the time of this writing, neither game is currently playable on Xbox One.
Perhaps the games will officially join the lineup of Xbox 360 titles playable on Xbox One once the Black Friday sales event kicks off for everyone, and not just Gold subscribers. If that’s the case, then fans might be able to expect Oblivion and Modern Warfare 3 to hit the service as soon as this coming Tuesday, November 22nd, but they should wait for an official announcement before getting their hopes up.
If Oblivion and Modern Warfare 3 are added to the backward compatibility list, it should come as no surprise. After all, they represent two of the biggest Xbox 360 titles in history, with strong sales, positive critical reception, and popularity that persists to this day. Modern Warfare 3 has been one of the most-requested games to be added to the backward compatibility lineup since the service was announced, and fans have been clamoring for an Oblivion remaster for years.
Furthermore, Head of Xbox Phil Spencer promised that fan favorite games would be coming to the backward compatibility service in November. So far, it appears as though Spencer’s claim hasn’t been wrong, with Mass Effect 2 and 3 added to the list of backward compatible games just a couple of weeks ago, and the likely additions of Modern Warfare 3 and Oblivion just around the corner.
Modern Warfare 3 and Oblivion coming to the backward compatibility list seemed like it was just a matter of time, but some fans will be happy to know that it looks like the wait is almost over. Moving forward, it will be interesting to see how Xbox can top November’s backward compatibility lineup, but perhaps next year fans can look forward to original Xbox games being added to the service after all the biggest 360 titles are made available.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion are both available on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
The List Of Xbox One Backward Compatibility Games Is Now Available.
Ever since we announced Backward Compatibility was coming to Xbox One the number one question I get asked is, “What games are going to be available?” That question has finally been answered.
Today Mike Ybarra, Director of Program Management for Xbox, announced the first 104 titles coming to Xbox One Backward Compatibility when the feature launches as part of the New Xbox One Experience on 12 Nov.
At Xbox, we believe that gaming is universal and should be enjoyed by everyone, everywhere. Our philosophy since launching Xbox One two years ago has been to put gamers at the center of everything we do and create the best, most seamless gaming experience possible. We’re taking a major step forward in that journey on November 12 when we start rolling out the New Xbox One Experience with Xbox One Backward Compatibility.
Today, I’m happy to unveil to you the first 104 Xbox One Backward Compatibly games. Some of my favorites are included, like the complete Gears of War catalog, Assassin’s Creed II, Fallout 3, Borderlands, and Castle Crashers. The full list of the first 104 games is below and can be found at the Backward Compatibility page at Xbox.com. And, as I said at gamescom, going forward, all Xbox 360 games available through Games With Gold after Nov. 12 will be playable on Xbox One.
Our launch of 104 titles on Nov. 12 is just the beginning. You can expect new Xbox One Backward Compatible games to be announced on a regular basis, starting in December. More titles are on the way, including fan favorites like Halo Reach, Halo Wars, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Bioshock, Bioshock 2, Bioshock Infinite and Skate 3. Stay tuned because this just the beginning of a long list of Xbox 360 games that will run on Xbox One.

EditEasy 'Downed but Not Out' Achievement/Trophy.
The easiest method to completing this is to play co-op by yourself, one controller commanding the primary account, the other being a guest. Select Special Ops mission "Sniper Fi" and any difficulty. Have your primary account pick up the predator missile, and the guest take the claymores and plant a few around the player. As the player launches the missile into a group of enemies, have the guest shoot the claymores to down the primary player. As long as you hit four enemies with the predator missile, this will be simple to accomplishment.

EditEasy 'Get Rich or Die Trying' Achievement/Trophy.
Very simple, this one requires two people. One person will consistently share $500 with the other player (done by going to any weapon crate, etc.) and the receiver will save enough money to unlock the achievement. Swap positions and each person can walk away with a quick achievement/trophy.

EditEasy 'Serrated Edge' Achievement/Trophy.
Join any survival game (tier one recommended for its easy difficulty) and progress to wave 10 for a Juggernaut spawn. Buy an MP5 and flash grenades, then toss a flash grenade at the Juggernaut, then shoot a whole clip of the MP5 at him. Repeat this for a total of two times, then toss another flash and repeatedly knife him. I only had to knife him a few times to receive the achievement.

On the map Underground, on the northern section of the map (normally the S.A.S spawn) if you go down the tunnel directly behind the red bus (in the back of the large structure) there will be a magazine stand.
Skim the magazines and you will find a magazine with the title "President plays Spec Ops."

EditTeddy Bear Locations.
This shows the location of the 9 Teddy Bears hidden in the Modern Warfare 3's multiplayer maps. You don't get a Trophy / Achievement for finding them, but they are fun to try and find.
If you are wondering why they put these Teddy Bears in the maps of Modern Warfare, Modern Warfare 2, and Modern Warfare 3, The reason is because An Infinity Ward Employee's Daughter Died of Cancer While She was Holding A Teddy Bear. So as A Tribute to her, They put these Teddy Bears in the Maps Of Their Games, as Easter Eggs. The Most Famous Is "Teddy Bear Land" on The MW2 map Highrise.

First you need to enter the "A" with the accent to the right and then enter one f the letters below. EX:A with accent and the letter C, After that it should say AC then go back to the clan tag and you should see a box. After that enter to save and it should show the X Button on your controller as your clan tag. LIST down below of all the combos.

Want to improve the lag on Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3? Try this:
As with Black Ops' theater mode, it causes slight lag in matches, and although MW3 is generally better than Black Ops in terms of match latency, this seems to improve it even more. Obviously, this option removes the ability to review matches and make clips.

EditRank Up Fast as Specialist.
Once you hit level 20, use the Specialist package.
Make a class, give it hardline and use the Specialist package. It not only gives you extra points at kills 1, 3, 5, and 7 but also helps you complete the perk's challenges AND the Specialist Challenges for each perk.
You are completing the perks and each perk has a Specialist perk challenge to it. For example, if at 1 kill you unlock Assassin, you are completing Assassin Challenges while also completing the Specialist Challenge entitled 'Assassin.'
This equates to a boatload of XP once you start moving through these challenges. Not to mention the 200 XP per kill at kills 1, 3, 5, and 7 every time. You will be hard pressed to find a faster way to gain XP while playing any kill heavy mode.
You get EXTRA points for kills 8, 9, 10 etc. as long as you have all the perks on and have not died so it's like double XP in on itself.
