The presentation of the Warband is simple, but enticing. The rather epic medieval music and simple character creation screens are nothing new, but certainly raise anticipation levels. As does the rather creatively and brilliantly designed game map, which looks beautiful and lets you choose what quest to undertake at any time and any place, and also shows what is going on in the kingdom. Sadly none of these things can rescue what is ultimately a dreadful game, which even for it's low price tag, is a rip off. Though the backdrops to the game are bright and scroll by neatly, character animations are awful. Speech samples are also few and far between, and pretty basic, and non-existent in the character interaction screens (reading through text soon becomes pretty tiresome). Worst of all is the control system; Inconsistent, sometimes unresponsive and always extremely slow. The challenge level is also high, but ally this to the outdated and flawed control dynamics and you have one extremely frustrating and unfair game. Fans of the old PC game will undoubtedly get something out of the remake, but as far as modern Xbox One Technology is concerned, this old fossil belongs in the dark ages. … Expand.

The game is solid, casual pace, strategic, challenging in the sense that you have one attempt to try your luck at your choices. First off one of my favorite features of the game is its fight mechanics. Very fluid and immersive mechanics make for Epic battles. The single player has a lot of replayability. You can be an outlaw, a mercernary, a Lord, a trader. Fight for 6 different factions each with its own Geographic and cultural uniqueness. Each with completely different villages, castles and Towns. Your fighting style is completely up to you. Be an archer, Knight, Warrior. Use giant Axes or sword and shield, or use your Wooden Staff, You decide! Multiplayer is so great. Bear Force II Development Blog 15 - 0.9 New features, Grand Campaign and Release Date! Welcome everyone to the Development Blog #15 for Bear Force II. In this blog we will be going over some of the newly added features, the campaign that will start (hopefully) with the 0.9 launch, some fixes that have been made since the last Open Beta and the new final Open Beta before the 0.9 launch with a trailer coming soon. New Features. Senate Commando armor skin for the Republic. New weapon type: Senate Commando pike. New Classes: Jedi Padawan and Sith Apprentice. Features under development. Added feature to Officer classes: Accuracy Booster. Senate Commandos. The newly Senate Commando Armor will serve as a skin to the Clone Trooper and ARC Trooper classes. Senate Commando Pike. The newly added Senate Commando Pike will serve as a bridge between melee and ranged, it can be used as a spear in combination with a shield, as well as a 2-handed polearm and at last as a rifle. Ofcourse the team has done it's very best to balance this weapon and to make sure neither the melee side nor the ranged side is considered overpowered. Jedi Padawan and Sith Apprentice. Jedi Padawan and Sith Apprentice are 2 new classes intended to be balanced around what is known during events as "specialists". These classes have been added for all factions and can be used in unlimited amounts for public players during Public Play and during events. For regiments, they will be seen as a specialist class. With the new classes coming in it will depend on the server whether they will limit normal Jedi/Sith to 0%. These classes have been made and are intended to make the mod more fun for everyone, during Public Play these classes will not overwhelm normal troopers and will encourage more players to use normal troopers. For events it is intended so that more people will be allowed to play Jedi/Sith, but not the intended overpowered class, to keep everything balanced. Accuracy Booster. The Accuracy booster mechanic will serve in the same way as the newly added Force Frenzy and Group Healing force powers, but instead it will be added to the Officer classes and will it will provide an accuracy boost to the caster and any allies within a certain radius. The Grand Campaign. The Grand Campaign is a multiplayer series of events that will take place in the Clone Wars Era. An additional galaxy map has been made that will indicate faction territories and fortifications. This Campaign will hopefully begin with the 0.9 release. Release Date. The release date for Bear Force II v0.9 has been set on the 15th of February 2018. The last Open Beta will be released on the 30th of January 2018 with an additional trailer coming out in between. Keep an eye on the #announcements channel on the Official Bear Force II Discord to get the Open Beta and for information about the Open Beta events. What happened to the list of mods? probably site maintenance. I check the mod Page everyday to see if anything new has been uploaded or added and to my surprise almost everyday seems to be exciting. M&B modding community is one of the most active on the site. Could you actually improve some of the weapons. Some of the axes in games actually have thrust damage, or an thrusting animation, its just kinda annoying since i prefer weapons that has no thrusting dmg/animations. The same actually goes for Maces, they have thrusting dmg and all that, when they are just used to be swung around and knock people. The same could go for a few Lances that has swing damage when used on foot. Just my idea, to keep the mod itself a little more real when in terms to weapon usage and all that. You can and people did thrust with maces, as well as swing polearms, it'd be much more unrealistic to remove those features.
