More than meets the eye. All One Piece fans dreamed of having their very own fighting game. It's not perfect, but allow me to expand on this below. Pros: Complex Fighting System - Such as Unity Chains, Clashes, really make you think before just mashing buttons like a braindead zombie. Ranking System - Everyone likes to brag and their letter ranking system lets you do just that. Characters - Features the entire Strawhat crew along with most of the iconic characters shown in the show upto and including the Dressrosa Arc. Cons: Ranking System - Doesn't really penalize rage quitters properly. When someone quits the game they don't get a loss and you don't get a win. Unbalanced Characters - Although they have released a patch here and there adjusting the characters a tiny bit there is still a HUGE distinction between character viability. Story Mode: There is no real story mode which is a huge bummer in my opinion. I was expecting more on that end instead of just Marineford. This game is a great game, the gameplay is really fun. all the One Piece games from PS3 to all the way to current gen which is PS4 & Xbox One gameplay wasn't better than this one. This really beat One Piece Pirate Warrior gameplay a lot. If you haven't played Pirate Warrior you should check it out. Also I forgot to point out, One Piece current episode/manga is in New World so far it's not much One Piece games that focus on the New World, but this One Piece game focus on that which is something we didn't get before. I give this game a 8 out of 10. Because it needs more characters and there are a lot of DLC, but no Season pass to be found therefore you have to buy the DLC's by themselfs which is to much work.
