I love pvz and am awaiting heroes to be released in my area. I have thought of some ideas for the backyard and crazy settings. First, the backyard. You should be able to choose what you want to spawn in your backyard. Bring in all the bosses and enemies, even the suicidal ones. Increase friend limit for everything except gnomeverse and garden/graveyard ops and add the option for people not your friends to join by looking at a list of open backyards. Lastly you should be able to choose where the stuff spawn for the half of the backyard you are on and if you want to spawn it instanly with a limit to the number that can be alive at one time. Now, crazy settings. You should allow players to add auto boss and weed/zombie spawners for super fun and insane battles. Tips and Tricks. Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 has changed drastically since the original Garden Warfare. The following Tips and Tricks will help you level up quickly and become familiar with the new format. EditBackyard Battleground. The central hub of the game is no longer a series of menus. You now must interact with objects on either the Plants or Zombies side of the backyard. If you want to go and slay some AI Plants or Zombies, simply exit your base and walk around town. Remember, all game modes can now be played solo, split-screen, or online. If you play solo or split-screen, you can play with and against AI Plants and Zombies. To enable split-screen , interact with the two TVs that are stacked on top of each other. To start a Multiplayer game, interact with the Multiplayer Portal . Select which game mode you wish to play and if you're playing solo or online. You can also create your own private matches with custom rules such as low health, infinite ammo, and increased speed. To start a Garden Ops or Graveyard Ops game, interact with the big vehicles in the Plants or Zombies base. Plants play Garden Ops and Zombies play Graveyard Ops. This is the co-op defense game mode. To switch quickly between Team Plants or Team Zombies, simply interact with the small stand on the left side (when looking out to the center of town) of each base that says “Join Us.” Beneath the middle of the Backyard Battleground is a sewer system. A fish can be found in here that will turn your stars into 750 XP. You can also find the crazy target range behind the large door. EditCharacters and Classes. Plants and Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 features seven different Plants and Zombies characters (fourteen total), each of which specializes in one combat role or another. Use their abilities and play as a team to completely outclass your opponents. To switch characters, change appearance, and change abilities, interact with the large dressing room at each base. Some of the characters have been altered since the first game. See the table below for a quick description of each character, and click on each character's page for more detailed information and gameplay tips. EditCharacter Variations. Each of the fourteen characters have additional variations. These variations often share the same abilities, but the health and primary weapons might be different. Character variations are unlocked through Sticker Packs at the Sticker Shop. Five stickers are needed to unlock a Rare or Super Rare character, and two stickers are needed to unlock a Legendary character. The Phenomenal Character Pack for 75,000 coins is the only pack that guarantees all five stickers for a character variation. Unlike the original Garden Warfare, each character variation earns its own experience points and ranks up independently in Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. If you've played Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare on any system and connected to an Origin account, you can import most of the character variants from the previous game to the new game. The only exception being the four promotional characters: Berry Shooter, Citrus Cactus, Chester Chomper and Dr. Chester. EditCharacter Upgrades. Each character can unlock and use three of twenty-four upgrades. These upgrades are unlocked by leveling up a character. Click the customize option (X on Xbox One, Square on PS4) when choosing a character to find the character upgrades section. There are a total of eight upgrades that can be unlocked throughout 50 levels (10 levels plus five promotions, the fifth not allowing you to level up anymore). These upgrades must then be assigned to one of three slots. Only one upgrade can be chosen per slot -- no duplicates. Below is a list of known upgrades. It is still a work in progress! EditSpawnable Characters. In addition to the fourteen characters, players can use Spawnable Plants and Spawnable Zombies obtained in Sticker Packs from the Sticker Shop. Plants can only be planted in special pots. Zombies can be summoned from special dirt mounds, or Zombie Bots can be built on metal bases. These spawnable characters are completely A.I. controlled and can be healed or vanquished like any other character, but they cannot be revived. All vanquishes these spawnable characters score will award the player who summoned the Plant or Zombie with PvZ Coins. EditXP and Rank. Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 has a brand new system for leveling up characters, though the unlock system has remained unchanged for the most part. Each Plant and Zombie character and character variation earns XP for doing various activities in-game such as vanquishes, revives, healing, clearing waves in Ops, and more. The amount of XP earned for each activity will be shown in the lower-left corner of the screen with XP next to it. The XP then fills the XP gauge beneath it and shows how close a character is to leveling up. As mentioned earlier, characters and character variations do not share levels. Your overall player rank is tied to all fourteen characters and over 100 character variations. Each Plant character, Zombie character, and your player rank will be at one at the start of the game. When a character ranks up, your player rank will increase by one. For example, if Peashooter is at Level 3 and Sunflower is at Level 2, your player rank will be Level 4. EditPromotion. Characters can be promoted once they reach level 10. Head to their section in the stats room and interact with the arrow pointing upward. Choose to promote them to set them back to level 1, and give them a new title, and give you 20,000 coins. A character can be promoted a max of five times. The titles for each Promotion are listed below. EditXP Multipliers. Even more XP can be earned through XP Multipliers. A new XP Multiplier is achieved after completing five quests from the Quest Board. The XP Multipliers are 1.25x, 1.5x, 1.75x, and 2x. The XP multiplier will go down over time when you're not playing the game. Go to the quest board and select a quest to add it to your inventory. Up to seven quests can be active at a time, including two story quests. Quests on the Quest Board will refresh over time. Active quests in your inventory don't go away unless you cancel them. EditTrain with the Mysterious Fish. XP can be quickly earned with the Mysterious Fish . Use five stars at the fish in the sewers beneath the Backyard Battleground to instantly level up. EditCoins and Stars. PvZ Coins return in Garden Warfare 2, but are slightly altered to fit with the new XP system. Earn coins by completing Multiplayer games and Ops waves. You can also find coins, and diamonds around a game that will automatically turn into coins. The coins can then be used at the Sticker Shop to earn consumable items, character customization items, and character variations. See the Unlockables section for a list of sticker packs and the various unlockables that come in each pack. In addition to Coins, a new Stars system has been added. Both Coins and Stars can be earned by completing Quests from the Quest Board. These stars are used as a form of currency around the backyard. Use them to clear debris, open treasure chests, open doors, and plant enchanted gardens or tombstones in Ops. It's best to save stars for Infinity Time. Go to the quest board and select a quest to add it to your inventory. Up to seven quests can be active at a time, including two story quests. Quests on the Quest Board will refresh over time. Active quests in your inventory don't go away unless you cancel them. EditHealth and Knock Outs. All characters in Garden Warfare have a set amount of health that is shown at the bottom left part of the screen. When damaged by an enemy the health will drop – obviously. Take cover for a short time to regenerate health. In Garden Warfare 2, health will now fully regenerate, though it will still take awhile to reach 100%. A Sunflower or Heal Flower from Team Plants or a Scientist from Team Zombies will increase the rate of healing with their special abilities. Like all shooters, aiming at the head will deal more damage than aiming at the body. Earning a vanquish by firing at the enemy's head will net players more XP, as well. Once a player's health reaches zero, they will be vanquished / knocked out. A red cross will appear on teammate's screens, allowing teammates to revive the downed player before they respawn. A short count down timer will appear on their screen alongside two options. Players can choose to respawn instantly or select a new character during this count down. If swallowed by a Chomper, a Zombie cannot be revived. Reviving a player will only give them 50% of their total health. However, if Scientist or Sunflower revives a teammate, they will come back with full health. Furthermore, Scientists and Sunflowers can revive teammates quicker than any of the other characters. Primary Weapons can still be used while reviving to ward off enemies, but abilities cannot. EditWeapon Basics. In Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, all characters have infinite ammunition; however, most of the weapons must be reloaded after all of the ammo in their magazines have been used. Each character has a Primary Weapon and three abilities. Some abilities are different offensive weapons or attacks, while other abilities are helpful power-ups. Use them all to play your role in the team dynamic. All abilities that set down equipment can be destroyed by enemies. Destroy as much enemy equipment as possible to help your team and earn extra XP. Weapons do normal damage to an enemy's health when they hit any part of the body. The damage will appear as numbers on the enemy's body when contact is made. If damage is done to an enemy's head, this will cause critical damage. This will be shown by a number inside of a red or white, spiked bubble. The damage will increase, and if an enemy is vanquished with a critical shot, a bonus will be rewarded to the player that scored the vanquish. If damage is being done to a protected enemy, like a zombie in a coffin or a plant in a vase, the damage number will be displayed inside of a small, gray shield. -Maps -Characters & Classes -Leveling system This game is one of the best third person shooters out. Things it aces: the gw2 is a very good game i played garden warfare 1 since the release and i loved the game so much that i played it until now (26/2/2016). the gw2 is a very good game but it kinda feel like a full season pass for pvz gw1 which is kinda sad. but i love this game and i would buy it one more time if i have to because its so much fun!! While I did not find the single player modes to be all that interesting, the multiplayer experience was excellent. I found myself sticking to the multiplayer only and ignoring the bland signle player modes. Controls were find, AI was ok ( a bit aggressive), and graphics were exactly what was expected. … Expand.
