Great concept, very fun, getting better with updates.👍 The gameplay for this game is really fun and addicting but some controls have a hard time working such as picking up team mates. Crashing is much less than before when it first came out and disabling captures helps with processing on a standard xbox one. Don't get mad when you pay for a game preview and it crashes. Be supportive, and understanding. If you encounter errors, go to their forums and let them know the issues you have. Leaving 1 star reviews just because it crashed is childish. Rate on the gameplay and the fun you have while it is working. Think of this as an alpha test, just open to whomever supports them by buying the game preview. The gameplay is fun. Love the option to run around in vehicles, grab backpacks to carry more, and being able to loot other players. If your in a squad, a microphone is highly recommended. I have had alot of fun with random people, even with the game crashing for them and me. Alot of times you can load right back into the match, and if you have a good squad to keep you alive, get right back into the action. If u turn off game DVR under settings>preferences>Capturing and broadcasting you will notice a gigantic increase in the consistency of your framerate and will notice less crashes. The UI is good, controls are good for my preference. There are some things that should be fixed. First is the crashing. It happens every couple games and can be annoying, I understand the game is in preveiw and needs fixes. 2nd is rendering, I understand that there are 100 people on big server but people that have the Xbox One X have a advantage. I've always preferred PUBG for a Battle Royale experience due to the game's emphasis on realism and gear/weapon variety rather than it being arcady and cartoony (which is the reason why I don't like Fortnite) and overall, I've had a relatively good experience playing this game but however, I'm not going to deny that this game has some MAJOR issues that will surely hurt it's reputation. The first and most obvious issue is the Frame Rate. A match usually starts off with really bad FPS that averages at around 15 or so smoothing out a minute after you land on the ground. This can get pretty annoying and can cause one to get killed and lose. The other being the poor latency and crashes. You can be hiding behind a tree, boulder, or a corner of a building and still get shot and every now and then, the game will instantly crash leaving you to be a sitting duck. Lots of polish needed but gets you hooked. Framerate needs improvement, aim needs alot of fine tuning. Even PC players that can run this on Ultra settings don't because its easier to see players with foilage set to very low and other settings on medium. After playing with inventory system I can say it works but not as fast as drag and drop. Rubberbanding after jumping out the plane and after landing is there and an all too familiar issue from PC. Vaulting is a great addition, some new guns are nice. Since this is early access I will be continuing to play since playing on PC Bluehole has always been updating the game at a steady pace. If your a first timer to this game then it will be a bad first impression. For people like myself who played on PC, this is what we dealt with on that early access launch. Yes it is in game preview, however it is still in poor condition. Constant framerate issues (I am on the XB1X which was supposed to do 60fps mind you), and severe rubber banding. Also since the latest 2 updates, my crew and I have experienced several crashes. At least 3 a day, which we have to go to the home screen and reload into the game. Which is nice but also can make for a very unpleasant experience and severe frustration. Because when the game runs well, it is a great time. I dont know what Bluehole is doing with all of that money from the millions of purchases, but they need to update the server, and game with significant patches. Also, I know Phil Spencer better lock this game up for more than a year AFTER this game gets its full release. Microsoft's Xbox One X hits India on Jan. 23. The most powerful console will now be sold in one of the world's biggest markets, but will it sink or swim? Microsoft's Xbox One X will be available in one of the biggest markets in the world on Tuesday, but it will be a question of whether the console will be able to do well in a market where its rival Sony PlayStation reigns supreme. It doesn't help that the price, at 44,990 Indian Rupees ($705), isn't exactly cheap, especially in a country where the reported per capita income in 2016 was $1,670, though there's probably a richer middle class in the bigger cities that could afford the console. "For gaming at Microsoft, the console business is one part of that," Jeremy Hinton, Xbox Business Lead at Microsoft Asia, said in an interview with CNET. "More and more, it's gaming with Windows, and every game we launch now is available on Windows and Xbox. So it's all about what best aligns to consumers in the market." That being said, Hinton added that those who were interested in the console experience would invest in it, and that the console gamer in Asia typically spends quite a bit, north of $200 a year. Furthermore, the Xbox One X features backward compatibility, a feature that the company hopes will help it stand out, letting users who chose to upgrade from the earlier Xbox One or One S be able to play their older games on the new 4K console. Xbox One X is here to rock your world. While Xbox users in the US have access to movies, sports and TV content, it's not the same in Asia due to content licensing restrictions. Microsoft is planning to work with local content providers to provide for something similar, though Hinton declined to share more. Given the Xbox One X's position as an home entertainment device that's not just used for gaming, support for 4K TV watching means having local content deals could be a possible advantage if it ever happens. On the other hand, gaming in India is still pretty much dominated by PC and mobile gaming, and console gaming can be considered niche, says IDC's associate research director Navkendar Singh. "The Xbox one X, even though is one of the most powerful consoles, will face challenge in terms of overall value to the gamer and enhancements to upgrade from existing systems in markets like India," said Singh. Singh added that Sony already has a sizeable lead due to wider se of gaming titles as well as VR support, and that the additional cost of a 4K TV, currently very expensive in India, may not appeal as much due to the cost of having to buy two items. That said, it's possible for Microsoft to gain a foothold with the right strategy, such as buying back older consoles to offer discounts for new purchases to help the One X gain a foothold. The Xbox One X will be sold online at the Microsoft India store, Amazon and Flipkart. Would like to see download status through the app. I tend to leave my Xbox One when downloading things so it would be nice to check the status of my download of a game or DLC. 2. Would like to browse through the store & download games/DLC content with the app so that its ready to play when I get to my Xbox. I'll think of more features to add..
