XBOX Avatar Awards List. Share this: Leave a Reply Cancel reply. This page looks too similar to Xbox Resource’s avatar award page that’s been around for a long time. Consider changing the game layout so that it doesn’t look like such a clone. We know the guys at Xbox Resource very well. Not really trying to clone them. It’s just the best way. Not many other ways to do it. But any suggestions are welcome. I like how quickly the page loads, even with all of the images. The three image rows and same (or approximately same) sized pics are what makes me think of XR’s layout. Eventually the number of games with avatar awards will be in the 100-200 range, so comething more compact might work better. I don’t know html or flash, so I’m operating out of ignorance here. A horizontal listing with categories such as A-F with some of the “favorite” game in those letters might work. You could break it down into twoe sections as well: retail and arcade. We appreciate your ideas. Once we are 100% complete we will start to separate it into categories of retail or arcade, and do a A-G H-K type of thing. The set up looks similar because we both get the game images direct from Xbox.com. 3 wide isn’t how we Prefer but there is size constraints on a website. If you see our same list on our Facebook account it is 6 wide. We will work to make it more XAG style too. 🙂 How does that look? Better? Thanks for the constructive criticism. Nice. It looks great. Four across looks more symmetrical and helps to distinguish your site. I visit XAG more than Xbox Resource’s page these days, as you are on the ball. Your news is as timely as avatar news gets. and your enthusiasm is awesome. Thanks. i didn’t have any game listed here . bad luck? Get rewarded. You deserve it. The Game Awards 2017 recently wrapped up in Los Angeles, not only honoring developers for their creations but announcing more to come. Throughout the event, a fair number of reveals were made - many expected to release on Xbox One. If you missed any of the reveals, we've wrapped up everything you need to know about Xbox One games right here. World War Z. World War Z is a new shooter that's coming to Xbox One, and other platforms, soon. While the visuals may not be that hugely impressive, the game stands out for the volume of zombies on-screen. The game is expected to be a four-player co-op experience inspired by the film franchise. In the Valley of Gods. In the Valley of Gods is a new single-player adventure from the creators of Firewatch. It looks like an intriguing experience which tasks you with exploring Egyptian tombs and documenting your journey. It's unclear what the plot of the title will be, but the visuals are breathtaking, to say the least. You play as an explorer and filmmaker who, along with your old partner, has traveled to the middle of the desert in the hopes of making a seemingly-impossible discovery. Campo Santo confirmed that the game was coming to PC but they haven't ruled out a console release. Considering that Firewatch eventually made its way to Xbox One, there's hope. FromSoftware. The creators of the Dark Souls franchise teased a new game they're working on. It's unclear what genre the title is in except that it's going to be gory judging from the blood-soaked weapon. Hopefully, it'll be a multiplatform experience like Dark Souls. Fade to Silence. Fade to Silence is an adventure game which takes place in a frozen wasteland. It's coming to PC and current-generation consoles possibly next year. Soulcalibur VI. A few days ago there were rumors floating around that Soulcalibur VI was close to a reveal, as a PlayStation 4 exclusive. Luckily, that's not the case and it's coming to Xbox One and PC too in 2018. Fans have been waiting for the return of this legendary fighting franchise for a while now, so here's hoping this latest entry doesn't disappoint. Fortnite recently got a battle royale mode but today Epic Games announced a new 50 vs. 50 mode. The last team standing wins! Sea of Thieves. The day many gamers have been waiting for is finally here, Sea of Thieves will launch on March 20, 2018. A Way Out was announced during E3 2017 and features co-op gameplay featuring two prisoners. It's from the creators of the deeply moving "Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons." Luckily, we won't have wait too long to play it as it launches on March 23, 2018. If you loved The Vanishing of Ethan Carter or are on the lookout for a new first-person shooter, you're in for a real treat with Witchfire. Witchfire is still expected to be far from release, but there's a chance it may come to Xbox One eventually. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds' new desert map was revealed during the event. The title launches on Xbox One via Xbox Game Preview starting December 12, 2017, following its success on PC. Metro Exodus. Metro Exodus is a post-apocalyptic shooter that takes place in Russia, now on track for fall 2018. That's it from The Game Awards 2017. Which announcements were you excited for? Let us know in comments! Many great games are coming to Xbox One in the coming months despite the fact that titles like The Crew 2 and Far Cry 5 have been delayed. As far as accolades go, Cuphead and Forza Motorsport 7 won awards at the event. Those of you who watched it on Mixer will get Goat Simulator, a Halo Wars 2 Leader, a Forza Driver Suit, and Warframe add-ons for free. We’re MakinGames, husband and wife duo, Nic and Anna Makin, who along with help from Jay Howse (art) and Steve Burke (sound/music) have created Raging Justice, our tribute to the gratifyingly brutal, side-scrolling brawlers we grew up with in the early 90s. We’re all good mates from the days when we worked at the UK game studio Rare. It’s taken years of hard graft, juggling all our "spare" hours around work and children, to turn our initial idea into a game… that’s going to be launching on Xbox One with help from our friends at Team 17! Back when we came up with the idea on one of our awesomely cheesy Van Damme vs Seagal film nights, we never dreamt it was going to turn. Dead Cells is a mash-up, a veritable Frankenstein’s monster of a game, which pretty much makes me Dr. Frankenstein, which is nice. We’re trying to wed the randomness, replayability, and adrenaline pumping threat of permadeath that you find in a rogue-lite, (think Binding of Isaac, Enter the Gungeon, Rogue Legacy, etc.) with the anticipation of exploration, the thrill of discovering a secret and the progressive unlocking of a world that you find in Metroidvania games (think Ori and the Blind Forest, Guacamelee, Axiom Verge, etc.). The main inspiration for the game is Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, which you might have noticed from the pixel art. But wait, there's more! The. SoulCalibur 6 is out in 2018 It's coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC It is running on Unreal Engine 4. The next entry in the long-running SoulCalibur series of fighting games, SoulCalibur 6 was revealed at The Game Awards 2017. SoulCalibur 6 has a 2018 release date though no information on an exact date has been announced just yet. The game will be coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Much like publisher Bandai Namco's other fighting game franchise, Tekken 7, SoulCalibur 6 runs on Unreal Engine 4. At The Game Awards 2017, a trailer revealed series staples Mitsurugi and Sophitia squaring off in combat. The gameplay trailer showed off both characters using weapons that had different coloured lighting. This could mean we see an additional gameplay mechanic over and above the weapon-based fights the series is known for. Perhaps a gear system similar to Injustice 2? Only time will tell. The last mainline SoulCalibur game released over five years ago for the PS3 and Xbox 360. SoulCalibur 6 signals Bandai Namco's intent to move beyond it's other big fighting series Tekken. Not that we're complaining. Of the two, it's been the more accessible title. Nonetheless, hopefully SoulCalibur 6 isn't hamstrung by season passes, an online only component, and barebones single-player content that we've seen in other fighting games this generation like Street Fighter and Marvel vs. Capcom. Xbox One Game of the Year. From IGN's Inside Review: "Inside very clearly builds upon what made Limbo great, and in fact builds something greater. Its unimaginable twist may leave you dumbfounded, confused, and quite possibly speechless, but it will fuel heated discussion with your friends about its meaning, its message, and its intentions. It’s a short ride, but one I felt compelled to take again – including a search for its mysterious hidden orb collectibles. Play it soon before anyone spoils a single big moment for you" EditRunner-up: Dishonored 2. EditGears of War 4.
