Headsets can only be connected to the Xbox One Wireless Controller. They can’t be connected to third-party wired controllers. The Xbox One console does not feature Bluetooth functionality. Headsets cannot connect to the console using Bluetooth. On this page. If you have an Xbox One Wireless Controller with a 3.5-mm port, you can connect a headset with a standard 3.5-mm jack directly to the controller. (The 3.5-mm port is a small circular port on the bottom of the controller.) Find out how to adjust your audio settings at Use the Chat Headset with Xbox One. For more information on 3.5-mm standards, see Standards for audio jacks, below. No matter what kind of Xbox One Wireless Controller you have, you can connect the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter to your controller by plugging it into the rectangular expansion port on the bottom of your controller. You can then connect a compatible 3.5-mm audio jack to the stereo headset adapter. Some third-party products come with a stereo headset adapter that may look different from the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter made by Microsoft, but they all function the same way. You can only connect an Xbox 360 Chat Headset using the stereo headset adapter with a 2.5-mm to 3.5-mm converter, which comes with the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter. The Xbox One Stereo Headset does not include this adapter cable. Press the chat audio button on the stereo headset adapter until you hear only chat audio. (The chat audio button is in the lower-left corner of the adapter as you hold your controller.) If you have a stereo-chat headset, connect it to the audio output on your TV, monitor, or console. You can use the controls on the headset to control the audio volume. The two main types of connectors are RCA cables and the S/PDIF optical audio cable . Stereo headset with RCA cables. Plug the RCA cables from the headset or the headset’s base station into the audio-out ports on your TV. (The end of the RCA cables include a cylinder housing with a thin pin extending from the center.) Your TV must have either RCA audio output connectors or a 3.5-mm headphone output. If you use the 3.5-mm headphone jack, you’ll need to buy a 3.5-mm mini-to-RCA adapter cable. The Xbox One Stereo Headset and several other gaming headsets use a single 3.5-mm audio cable for both chat and gaming. These headsets plug directly into the stereo headset adapter. Other gaming headsets use two 3.5-mm audio cables. Typically, one cable has a green jack. This jack is used for game audio. The other cable has a pink jack. This jack is used for chat audio on a PC. These headsets may include an adapter that combines both. However, not all of these cables use the CTIA headset standard. This can compromise performance and quality. For more information, see the following section, Standards for audio jacks. Stereo headset with S/PDIF (optical) audio cable. Plug the headset’s S/PDIF (Sony/Philips Digital Interface Format) optical cable into the back of your TV, monitor, or console. (The S/PDIF cable plugs into a rectangular port on your TV.) Not all 3.5-mm audio jacks are made to the same standard. There are two audio jack standards: Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA), and Open Mobile Terminal Platform (OMTP). If you use an OMTP headset, you’ll probably experience audio or chat issues. However, if your headset or earbuds use the OMTP standard, you can purchase an adapter to convert the device to CTIA. These adapters are available at many electronic retail stores. The following images show the differences in the CTIA and OMTP standards. The CTIA standard has the microphone section of the jack closer to the end of the cable while the OMTP standard has the ground section of the jack closer to the end of the cable. Microphone Ground Right audio channel Left audio channel. Ground Microphone Right audio channel Left audio channel. The following headsets are incompatible with the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter: Mad Catz Tritton Warhead headset Mad Catz Tritton Primer headset (Mad Catz offers an adapter for the Primer headset to convert the 2.5-mm audio jack to a 3.5-mm audio jack. Contact Mad Catz for support.) The Xbox 360 Wireless Headset and Xbox 360 Wireless Bluetooth Headset Headsets with this 2.5-mm connector will not work because of the connector format. This connector includes a long, cylindrical pin in the middle of the connecting side that does not fit into the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter. Set up and use the Wireless Bluetooth Headset with an Xbox 360 console. You can chat with friends on Xbox Live using the Xbox 360 Wireless Headset with Bluetooth. Use the headset to chat on Xbox Live, or switch to Bluetooth mode and use the headset with a Bluetooth-enabled device such as a mobile phone or PC. Headset comes with a convenient micro USB charging cable, three sizes of ear gels, and an ear loop Features up to eight hours of talk time Allows easy switching from Xbox to Bluetooth mode to answer calls. Note Bluetooth mode is only for operation with Bluetooth devices. Learn how to connect the wireless headset to a Bluetooth device. Note For great video tutorials that show how to set up the wireless headset with Bluetooth, how to use your headset with other Bluetooth devices, and how to clear the headset of all Bluetooth devices, see the “Video tutorials” section at the bottom of this article. Note For warranty information about Xbox accessories, including the Wireless Headset with Bluetooth, see the Warranty and service: FAQ. Xbox 360 Wireless Headset with Bluetooth package. The Xbox 360 Wireless Headset with Bluetooth package includes the following items: Xbox 360 Wireless Headset with Bluetooth 3-foot micro USB charging cable One ear loop and three ear gels User's guide. Xbox 360 console (not required for operation with Bluetooth devices) Updated Xbox Live software – Minimal Dashboard Version 2.0.13599.0. Setup and use. The easiest way to install the Xbox 360 Wireless Headset (with Bluetooth) software drivers is to connect to Xbox Live. If your console is connected to Xbox Live, skip to step 2. If your console isn’t connected to Xbox Live, you can download the latest console software to your computer and install it on your Xbox 360 console. For the steps on how to do this, see How to get a new Xbox 360 update. Before you can set up your headset, you may need to charge it. Here’s how: Plug the charging cable that’s included with the headset into a USB port on your console. There are two USB ports on the front of your console behind an oval door. Connect the other end of the charging cable to the headset’s power input. This is the smaller connector. Turn on your console. The lights on the headset flash green while charging in Xbox mode, and flash blue while charging in Bluetooth mode. Once charging is complete, the light will stop flashing. The headset isn’t functional when connected to the headset charging cable. The headset charges in either Bluetooth or Xbox mode. Some limited edition versions of the headset include a charging cradle. When the headset is in the charging cradle, the light on the cradle flashes during charging and stops flashing once the charging is complete. The easiest way to connect your headset to your console is to complete step 2. If you completed step 2, unplug the charge cable from the headset and skip to step 4. Another way is to wirelessly connect your headset to your console: Turn on your console. Move the mode switch to Xbox (Green) on your wireless headset. Press the power button on the headset for two seconds. The lights will flash green. After the headset plays the startup sound, press and hold the headset’s connect button for two seconds. Within 20 seconds of pressing the connect button, press and release connect button on your console. The lights flash green three times once your headset is connected to your console. Your headset will now automatically connect to your console whenever you turn on your headset in Xbox mode. Note If your headset doesn’t connect within 20 seconds, the lights resume flashing slowly. If this happens, repeat steps 4 and 5. The headset can take up to 10 seconds to connect to your console. On an Xbox 360 S console, the headset is assigned a position on the ring of light around the console’s power button. Each connected controller is assigned to one of four positions, and each controller can have an associated headset. Note On an Xbox 360 E console, you can determine the controller’s assignment by looking at the ring of light around the Guide button on the controller itself. If a controller is assigned to position 1, then the wireless headset is also assigned to position 1. If another headset is already assigned to position 1, your headset is assigned to position 2. If you want to change the position assigned to a headset, press the headset’s connect or power button to advance to the position you want. For example, to change a headset assigned to position 1 to position 3, press the connect or power button twice. Note To see a video tutorial that shows how to assign your wireless headset to another controller, see the “Assigning the wireless headset to another controller” video in the “Video tutorials” section at the bottom of this article. You can connect up to four wireless headsets to a console at one time. Make sure there is an available (unlit) section on the ring of light, before you connect your wireless headset. If you want to connect multiple controllers and wireless headsets, connect a wireless headset first, then the corresponding controller. A wired headset takes precedence over a wireless headset. A wireless headset can’t be associated with a controller that’s connected to a wired headset. To use a wireless headset instead, unplug the wired headset and then repeat the wireless connection steps in Step 3: Connect your wireless headset to your console. A controller is not required for the headset to work with the console. Your headset is wirelessly connected to only one console at a time. You can connect to a new console at any time, but your connection to the previously connected console will be lost. Before you use your wireless headset, you may need to swap out the ear gel for another size. Three ear gels in different sizes are included with your headset, so you can choose one that’s comfortable. Insert an ear gel. Remove the included ear gel by gently pulling it off of the speaker. Select an ear gel, center it over the speaker, and then gently push the gel until it snaps into place. The surface of the speaker is slightly recessed below the lip of the ear gel. Put on your headset. Press the power button on the headset for 2 seconds to turn it on. Hold the headset in one hand with the speaker facing you. With your other hand, hold the ear loop and snap the loop into place at the base of the speaker. The ear loop is reversible, so you can wear the headset on your left or right ear. Fit the headset over either ear so that the ear loop hooks over your ear and the ear gel rests comfortably in your ear. If the headset isn’t comfortable, take off the headset and try using a different ear gel. The ear gel is not meant to go into your ear canal; it is designed to sit outside the ear canal. Once the headset is comfortably on, adjust the volume, and start using your headset. For the best microphone performance, make sure the headset points towards your mouth and is positioned as shown. Once you’ve completed the setup steps, you’re ready to use the headset with your console. Here’s how: Turn your console on. Press the power button on the headset. The wireless headset works within 30 feet (9 meters) of the console. Objects between the controller and the console can reduce this range. When you are done using the headset, press and hold the power button to turn it off. Turning off your console doesn’t turn off the headset. To adjust the volume, press the Volume Up or Volume Down button. Press the Mute button to toggle mute on and off. You can only mute your headset in Xbox mode. Note To see a video tutorial that shows how to mute your headset, see the “Video tutorials” section at the bottom of this article. Clean your headset with a dry cloth. Cleaning solutions may damage the headset. Don’t allow the headset to get wet. Components of the Wireless Headset with Bluetooth. Action/Mute Volume + Volume - Power Connect Power input Xbox (green)/Bluetooth mode (blue) If the headset charging cable is connected to the headset and the battery fails to charge, the headset’s first two lights will flash in sequence (1, 1 and 2; 1, 1 and 2; and so on). Leave the headset connected for a while to see if the battery charges normally. If the lights on the headset continue to flash, contact Xbox Support using the Assistance information at the bottom of this page. To answer a call. When you receive an incoming call, the headset plays an incoming-call sound, and the headset’s lights flash blue until you answer, reject, or tell the phone to ignore the call. To answer an incoming call: Press and release the Action button. If the headset is in Xbox mode, switching to Bluetooth mode automatically answers the incoming call (without you pressing the Action button). If the headset is turned off, turning it on will automatically answer an incoming call (without you pressing the Action button). To reject an incoming call: Press and hold the Action button for two seconds. To end a call: Press and release the Action button. (Switching to Xbox mode doesn’t end a call.) If you get an incoming call during a call: Press the Action button to answer the incoming call and put the first call on hold. (This feature must be supported by your Bluetooth device and mobile carrier.) While a call is on hold: Press and release the Action button to hang up the active call. Press and hold the Action button for two seconds to swap calls. Turn on your wireless headset. If your headset is connected to a Bluetooth device (and not already in a call), press and hold the Action button for two seconds. Use Bluetooth voice commands to make your call. For information about Bluetooth voice commands, refer to your Bluetooth device instructions (for example, your phone documentation). Note The mute button on the wireless headset only works in Xbox mode. However, if you’re using the headset with a mobile phone, you can use the mute function on your phone. Switch operating mode. You can switch the operating modes on your headset at any time. If you have a Bluetooth device that supports calling, you can switch from Xbox to Bluetooth mode to answer an incoming call on your headset (provided you have previously set up the Bluetooth device with your headset). If you switch from Bluetooth back to Xbox mode, your headset uses the same settings you had when you last used Xbox mode. Your wireless headset has two low-battery charge indicators: When 30 minutes of time remains: Lights flash about twice per minute until 5 minutes remain. When 5 minutes of time remains: Lights flash continuously until the headset shuts off. Mobile device connectivity problems vary by manufacturer. For help troubleshooting Bluetooth connectivity problems with a mobile device, see the product manual or the manufacturer’s website. For help connecting your headset to a Windows Phone, see Pair my phone with a Bluetooth accessory. People can’t hear you. If someone on a call can’t hear when you use the headset in Bluetooth mode: Complete the setup steps to connect your headset with your Bluetooth device. Make sure the mode switch on the headset is set to “Bluetooth.” Make sure the microphone is pointed forward. Make sure the Bluetooth mode on your Bluetooth device (for example, a phone) is on. How to clear the list of Bluetooth devices from the headset. The headset stores pairing information for the last eight Bluetooth devices to which it was connected. If you want to clear the list, follow these steps: Turn on your headset. Move the mode switch to “Bluetooth” (the light on the headset will flash blue). Press and hold the Connect button for 10 seconds. Initially the lights will flash blue in a clockwise direction, and then after 10 seconds all four lights will flash together. The headset will also make two low-pitch sounds. Turn off the headset. To pair the headset again see “Step 3: Connect your wireless headset to your console,” above. Xbox one bluetooth headset

Get via App Store Read this post in our app! Can I connect a generic bluetooth headphone to Xbox One? I have Bluetooth Auvio headphones, which I bought on radioshack and I would like to know if there is any way to connect them to my Xbox One, so I can hear sound and use the mic. No, you can't use a bluetooth headset with the Xbox One. According to Connecting Compatible Headsets: Headsets can only be connected to the Xbox One Wireless Controller. They can’t be connected to third-party wired controllers. The Xbox One console does not feature Bluetooth functionality. Headsets cannot connect to the console using Bluetooth. While there isn't a native way to do this there are plenty of ways to bridge between your Xbox One and bluetooth headphones - here is a good article explaining how you can do this with a $20 add on - http://www.howtogeek.com/219326/how-to-add-bluetooth-headphones-to-your-hdtv/ Note that this wouldn't let you use the mic. I'm on the same page you are. What I have narrowed down to is we need to create one. We need a Bluetooth transmitter that will plug directly into the 3.5mm headphone jack (TRRS). It needs to be a master module (since headphones are usually slaves) and be able to use a profile that will support chat AND game audio. If anyone has experience with Bluetooth, I'm thinking of using HFP (hands free profile) but I'm sure there is a better profile to male audio more clear. Bluetooth headset with the Xbox One? This topic is locked from further discussion. I was wondering if anyone knows if Bluetooth headsets will work on the Xbox One like they did with the 360? I want a wireless headset but don't exactly want to fork out 160$ If they will work would that mean that an old one for the 360 would be compatible? No bluetooth headsets do not work on the XB1. No, the 360 wireless headsets do not work (this hurts me the most as I have a set of Tritton Warheads). To my knowledge there aren't any wireless chat headsets available. they all require that you plug into the controller (even the "wireless" headphones with built in mics for chat have a cable that plugs into the controller). xbox one or xbox 360 does not support bluetooth. i'm pretty sure MS will release a wireless headset version for xbox one just like the xbox 360. Yeah, Polk Audio is releasing their own wireless headset for it, but that's 160$ Hopefully Microsoft doesn't take too long when it comes to releasing their own wireless version. Xbox Stereo Headset. If you’re a gamer who knows what they want, and that’s the best Xbox One headset – well, we’ve got some good news for you. After inspecting, experimenting, and generally tinkering with a flood of the latest gaming headphones for consoles, we’ve narrowed down the selection to the best Xbox One headset…and come up with the one headset you can’t do without. Best Xbox One Headsets. #1 Pick Astro A50 Headset: Halo Xbox One Edition – Best Overall Wireless Gaming Headset. The best Xbox One headset is a wireless beast that accepts no compromises. WHY IT’S A TOP PICK: Amazing, customizable wireless sound and surprisingly comfortable. Astro makes a great gaming headset, no doubt, but the moment I picked up the weighty A50 it was obvious that this was something special. From excellent 7.1 surround sound capabilities to extra features that you’ll actually use, this best Xbox One headset puts all other contenders to shame. Others have their perks, but this Astro model brings the best specs together in one stellar package. Here’s just some of the features that I couldn’t get enough of: Wireless Features: Yep, the headset is wireless (and more on this down below, where I mention an important caveat). That means fewer cords to deal with: It also means I actually had a sexy stand to put the headphones down for recharging when I wasn’t using them, which I actually preferred to leaving a tangle on the sofa. EQ Customization: A whole lot of gaming headphones out there come with EQ settings, but Astro has done a great job making these settings something that you’ll actually tinker with. One setting is made for general, raid-oriented multiplayer. One setting is designed specifically for FPS games. The final setting is made for watching movies quietly. It’s worth noting here that the latest A50s also fit on Vive, Oculus, and similar VR headsets for a more immersive experience. Battery Life: These headphones seem to last around 10 to 12 hours, a very respectable number considering the other features that the A50 is juggling. Organic Mic: The mic is large and powerful on the A50, and it has a really cool feature that lets you instantly mute just by flipping it up, which is a great gaming accessory feature for dealing with interruptions. Fit: The headphones are a little tight, but far from uncomfortable. The extra-large over ear design never troubled me, and the padding is very utilitarian – these ear cups are here for business, and that business is delivering top-notch sound right to your noggin. It’s a good thing that the headband is so broad and supportive, because this is a pretty weighty pair of headphones. One point that definitely needs clarification for this gaming headset is the wireless feature. If you’ve looked at wireless headphones for Xbox One before, you probably know that they aren’t always that “wireless,” since they often need a connection to the Xbox controller (proprietary hardware is usually the issue here). The latest version of the A50s made for Xbox come with a base station augmentation that helps provide real wireless sound – it’s a little more time consuming to set up and requires a clear signal to use, but it works. Note that these models still come with headset cables for tethering if necessary, and that Astro is working on providing mod kits for PS4 A50s that will also allow you to use them on Xbox One. However, these mods only apply to the latest, Gen 3 A50 headests. #2 Pick Turtle Beach Ear Force XO Seven Pro Premium – Most Durable Xbox Headset. Turtle Beach is known for its comfortable gaming headphones…which still sound great. WHY IT’S A TOP PICK: Audio customization for sound identification. Turtle Beach has remarkable gaming headsets within a certain price range, and despite the long name this Ear Force model is one of the top models available for Xbox One players. There are plenty of presets and settings for everything on this headset, including audio customization for everything from hearing soft footstep sounds (stealth or survival) to placing more emphasis on other natural noises (RPGs and sandboxes). There are also plenty of EQ options for enhancing bass, treble, and more classic options. The drivers are 50mm, which means an emphasis on bass sounds right from the start. Please note that there are several different versions of these headphones: I recommend the Pro model because you get some of the most useful features, and the price difference is still manageable, but you may want to look through the other options, too – and take a look at my other Turtle Beach recommendation on this list. #3 Pick Plantronics Rig Flex LX – Most Affordable Alternative Xbox One Headset. The Xbox-compatible version of this headset is affordable, lightweight, and has great sound. Price : $53.99 | Weight : 7 ounces | Connectivity : small cable with inline mic and longer cable with headset mic. WHY IT’S A TOP PICK: Lightweight, comfortable, and affordable. These lightweight headphones have great clarity and are perfect for less intense gaming sessions when you want something easy and comfortable to wear. While some of the other headsets sounded better to me, it’s easy to see what the Rig Flex models are so popular: They tone down the features and size to provide a headset that focuses on fidelity, with a price everyone can afford. Notably the mic has options for both mobile gaming and more serious console sessions where quality is more important. You’ll need to be careful with this headset, because the Flex isn’t always packaged with an Xbox One adapter for the Xbox controller. This adapter is absolutely necessary to use the headset with Microsoft’s console. Look for Rig Flex LX options that are specifically compatible with Xbox and ship with the adapter…or buy a different adapter of your own. #4 Pick Turtle Beach Wireless Ear Force Stealth 500X – Best Xbox One Audio Customization. Turtle Beach has a great – and lightweight – wireless headset with the 500X. WHY IT’S A TOP PICK: Tetherless, wireless connections and great genre-specific audio customization. Why did I put two Turtle Beach headsets on the list? Well, the Stealth 500x feels like a different headset than the Pro, especially when it comes to 1) full wireless capabilities, including no tether required, and 2) surround sound. Also, while the heavy bass-driven 50mm drivers are the same, the audio options are entirely different. They focus more on chat boost, surround sound modes, and audio presets for specific genres – customization more suited toward FPS and multiplayer in general. That surround sound option is tough to beat, and you can even download additional presets for more options. The downside is that these presets tend to lower battery life down to 10 hours, which is a little too low in today’s market. #5 Pick Astro A40 Wireless Gaming Headset – Best Mid-Tier Headset Option. The A40 is a cheaper headset than the A50, but still has incredible clarity. WHY IT’S A TOP PICK: Xbox personalization, low distortation, and some fun decal options. This Astro headset, lighter than the A50, comes with a special Xbox edition so that compatibility is assured (as well as a Halo aesthetic). It focuses a bit more on personalization than the A50, allowing you to adjust the game-to-voice audio balancing to exactly what you want. Moreover, like the other high-Astro options there’s basically no distortion, the ear cups are large and comfortable, and you can personalize the headphones with a variety of stickers if that’s your thing. This model, the A40, may not be as good for chatting as the A50s, or have as wide of a frequency range, but they are a less expensive option for gamers who still want a top-quality headset. Note: while the headphones are wireless, they still need a tether to your controller. What to Look for in the Best Xbox One Headsets. Xbox Compatibility : Look for headsets made to work with the Xbox One controller, or that come with adapters for this purpose. Audio Customization : Some audio customization is a good thing (too much isn’t – check out the Mistakes to Avoid below). Look for options to adjust audio balance or pick different presets based on the games that you play. Chatting Features : Features like easy muting, noise cancellation, and picking out particular chat sounds to enhance will make all your party-ups much, much smoother. Don’t buy a cheap mic! Low Distortion : Distortion tends to be particular important with Xbox headsets because tethering to your controller exacerbates any underlying distortion issues. Look for low distortion ratings where you can find them. Comfort : Often gaming headsets come with inform on headband pressure and other information showing you how tightly they rest. There’s a lot of variance here, but headphones that are too tight aren’t usually worth it: Don’t assume that a headset will “loosen up” over time. Mistakes to Avoid. First, never assume that a headset will work with your Xbox. Many PC gaming headsets are easily compatible with PlayStation, but not with Xbox One: This happens because of different formats, tech copyright laws, and many other complex but unfortunate reasons. Also, don’t buy based solely on appearance. Some Xbox headsets are really, really good at looking cool – but don’t have the competitive sound or features that make them worthwhile. Big headphones tend to have deeper bass and more uncomfortable ear cups…but not necessarily better quality. Finally, be careful of too many customization features. I know I recommended headsets with plenty of setting options, but this isn’t always a good thing. In reality, most gamers find only a couple presets they like and switch between them. Most Important Features. Ear Cup Quality : Look for ear cups that rest around your ears without squeezing any part of them. Ear cup material should be flexible but also firm, not too plushy and not too fake-leathery. Ear cups tend to wear down quickly, so durability is very important here. Battery Life : Battery life for wireless headsets is slowly but surely heading closer to 20 hours per charge. That being said, some headsets are still stuck down toward 10 hours. Frequently storing of the headset on the charging cradle will help this from becoming an issue. Mic : The microphone for your headset needs to be unobtrusive but also easy to adjust. The best mics can be quickly flipped up or changed for different purposes – or are hidden in the ear cups altogether. Fidelity : Fidelity refers generally to how powerful and clear sounds are. Look for headphones that have very accurate frequency responses and high fidelity for a great sound experience. Surround sound can often help here. Which Best Xbox One Headset is for You? If you have any preexisting loyalties to the Astro or Turtle Beach brands, your choices should be very easy here – just base them on your current headphone budget. If you would rather go lighter and cheaper, then the Plantronics option is probably better for you. If you really don’t care and just want the absolute best sound experience you can get on Xbox One, the tethered A50 is where it’s at. Tyler Lacoma. My Astro A50 was a bitter-sweet experience that ended with the A50’s in the trash, and high expectations. The A50’s have fantastic sound and comfort. It’s up there with my other high-end headphones. But they had two flaws that made them useless. 1. Wi-Fi. They rely on 802.11 5Ghz WiFi. Great range and bandwidth, but if your XBox (and the A50 “base-station” that gets the Audio feed via optical from Xbox) is close to your WiFi Router – it kills the WiFi with interference. My audio cuts out and Netflix stops streaming on another device if we try to do both at once. Guess what my wife is generally doing when I play Xbox? Switched routers and houses. Same issue. 2. The microphone pickup is awful. I was told I sounded very far away from the mic despite it being almost inside my mouth. The A50’s still need to be tethered to your xbox controller if you want the microphone to “work”. I just got the Hyper-X Cloud X which works well so far, but the audio quality comes nowhere near the A50. What to do?? How hard can it be?? I just want reliable (preferably wireless, but at this point I don’t really care) high quality amplified audio and clear microphone pickup, so I can play games and chat when necessary for game play. Turtle beach seven pro aren’t surround sound. FYI. You’re right, that was just a mistaken check on our table. I think these Pro headphones do work to bring surround sound benefits at a lower price with “superhuman hearing mode,” but it does remain a long shot from actual surround sound. I have a set that claims superhuman hearing (press the button and you hear “super human hearing on/off”)in an Android like voice i still can’t hear any difference ,saying that there for my ps4 pro and when there’s shots fired i know exactly what direction it’s coming from,I have been told i can’t get 7.1 on my xbox. For this list to have been updated 5 days ago on 26 Dec., you sure don’t know much about the Astro A50’s. They are completely wireless now. Thank you for your attention to detail! Since this is an important point for Xbox players, I will address this in greater detail in the article so that gamers can know what to expect from the A50 gen 3 mod kits, which do indeed allow for wireless sound. The astro a50 are horrible I’ve owned them for about a year, they sound great but have problems at least once a month where I have to re install software, or frequently let the battery drain all the way to get them to work not worth the amount I paid for them. so true…and the cloth earcups make your ears sweat after a moderate amount of playing time. although this was for the gen 2…the gen 3 set looks to have fixed some things including full wireless capability. Xbox one bluetooth headset

Still have a question? Ask your own! Hiw do you connext a Bluetooth headset to the Xbox One? If it is an Xbox branded headset, exactly the same way your pair a controller. Press the pair button the the device and console. If it isn't an Xbox branded headset, you can't. Whilst the controllers and headsets do communicate via Bluetooth, there is an additional security layer used with the Xbox. Thus any device that does not utilise that cannot connect to the console — the console will effectively reject the connection attempt. While you cannot pair a set of Bluetooth headphones to the Xbox One, I use my Miccus Home RTX 2.0 cabled to the optical audio output on the Xbox One and pair the RTX 2.0 with my Miccus SR-71 Stealth headphones for wireless audio. It works awesome, and it sounds really good. This combination of Bluetooth audio transmitter and Bluetooth headphones operates in aptX Low Latency, so there is no noticeable audio lag between what you hear and what is happening on screen. It’s a fantastic option for Bluetooth wireless gaming audio. Unfortunately, you can't. I tried to do this thing that you're talking about whenever my main headset broke, and after about an hour of webquesting I couldn't find a way. Short answer: You can’t. Long answer: The Xbox One does not include a Bluetooth chipset, meaning you can’t use Bluetooth to connect anything to the Xbox One.
