They dont make runs into space, run wen there is no space, and dont check back or get open when marked, and take too long to come back onsides. User defense is a joke, cant react or mark when pressure comes, wont select the right guy half the time. AI defenders are stupid but then display inhuman ability to block shots. Passing is slightly improved but still broken, might as well turn off assisted passing. Strength n body positioning more important while cotrolling the ball, which i like, but they screwed it up, now pace is less important. It is clear that after a highly defensive fifa17 developers wanted to tone down the AI assistance. Unfortunely they went too far in the opposite direction, the defence now clears a path for the offence, often running away from the ball. The smallest of strikers easily shrug off the strongest of centerbacks. Response to changing of direction on defence feels highly delayed. The keepers are essentially another post to ricochet off of into the net. After 2 days and 20+ games, Ihave not played a game witth a total score of less than 5.
