It’s the moment that all 7 Days to Die console survivors have been waiting for, the day that Patch 10 goes live and we finally get to experience lots of lovely new content courtesy of the nice people at The Fun Pimps, Telltale Games and Iron Galaxy. Patch 10 will be known as Version 1.0.14.0 on the Xbox One and as Version 1.14 on the Playstation 4. Patch 10 will feature the following new content and improvements: Updated Sky and Weather Effects. Sky and weather effects have been updated to the full, more immersive Alpha 15 versions. Item Combination and Repair. The workbench UI has been updated to allow players to combine items in order to make items of better quality. Any two items of the same type with a quality score (such as tools, weapons, and armor) can be placed into the workbench and a new item of better quality will be created. The workbench can also be used to repair items using other lower quality items as fuel. Workbenches can now also be disassembled with a wrench. Zombies and their gore blocks have been updated so that when a zombie corpse decays into a gore block, the gore block can still be looted for the same loot that would have been looted off the zombie corpse. Along with this, zombies will decay into gore blocks a lot sooner than they used to and will often, when enough damage is done, instantly turn into gore blocks upon death. The following new features will require new saves: Over 50 new items have been added with patch 10. Some of these new Items include: New plants and harvestables Various new types of scrap Lots of new clothing items to be found. Navezgane Fashion Trends. Feast your eyes on the latest in post apocalyptic fashion! Ride off into the (new and improved) sunset in style! Over 100 new blocks have been added to the game. There are several that help flesh out existing block sets with new pieces (corners and arrow slits), toggleable lights, drawbridges, and a new crafting station. These blocks will only be available to players that start new games in Patch 10. Some of these new block types include: Draw Bridges Jail Door Lights and Various Blocks Stainless Steel Blocks Cat Walks and Tree Houses Cat Walk Bridges Farming Improvements. Over 60 new recipes have been added to the game. Many of these have been added to complement the new Block Shapes and Farming features being added this patch, but a few exist to allow players to craft items that are already in the game. These new features will only be available to players that start new games in Patch 10. A new crafting station, called the Chemistry Station has been added to the game. This station provides a way to craft many of the recipes you can craft on the campfire, using different, easier recipes and crafts those items in less time than the campfire. Skills Updates and Balancing. Most of the changes done to the skills have been balancing ones. A lot of the changes were changing the level needed for next level requirements, changing the cost of some skills and the amount of experience needed to level those skills up. Two new skills were added (Chemistry Station and Breaking and Entering) and two were removed (10mm Round Crafting and Leather Tanning). These new features will only be available to players that start new games in Patch 10. Patch 10 will also include a number of bug fixes and improvements: · Fixed an issue causing the Basic Survival Quest 4/8 to require more wood than it takes to craft the Wooden Club. · Fixed an issue that allowed zombies to clip through doors and hatches while the player was upgrading them. · Fixed an issue that would prevent a player from standing after crouching in a 2×1 tunnel. · Fixed an issue causing throwing items to be thrown further and more quickly than intended. · Fixed an issue that would cause Yucca Plants to provide an additional fruit when shot. · Fixed an issue that allowed the player to get resources from animals before skinning/gutting them. · Fixed an issue that resulted in smelting guns yielding no materials. · Fixed an issue that would allow players to drop cooking tools while interacting with a fire or forge. · Fixed an issue that would make the placement indicator for signs appear green even when overlapping a location in which signs couldn’t be placed. · Fixed an issue that would cause the number of brass units gained from scrapping Duke’s Tokens to vary inconsistently based upon how many tokes the player was scrapping. · Fixed an issue that would cause the player to be unable to harvest the top of a corn plant if they harvested the bottom first. · Fixed an issue that would occasionally cause pipe bombs to land directly at the player’s feet when thrown. · Fixed an issue causing certain blocks to appear invisible from one side when upgraded. · Fixed an issue that caused Cotton Plants to be missing a texture. · Fixed an issue preventing Animal Hide Leg Armor from being displayed on the character model. · Fixed an issue causing the forge and campfire SFX to continue playing between exiting and loading a new save. · Fixed an issue that caused the water bottle icon to show incorrectly in the character tool belt after being filled. · Fixed an issue that caused SFX associated with cancelling an item in the crafting queue to play too loudly. · Fixed an issue that caused SFX associated footsteps to briefly become inaudible after the player would sprain/break a leg. · Fixed an issue that would cause the game to prompt the player to activate split-screen whenever they would exit the audio options. · Fixed an issue the would cause the session to temporarily freeze after cancelling crafting on a large quantity of items. How do you feel about this latest update? Are you as excited as I am for drawbridges, catwalks and chem stations? If you are leave a comment below. Any fix to the gravity bugs. Not heard of the gravity bugs on the official forum…..not unless they are referred to as something else. Best bet is to go to the 7 days to die console forum and report it as a bug. the game still crashes. Any fixing that? And BTW when will 8 players be able to join A lobby? 4 sucks. If your game is still crashing you need to report it on the official forum, apparently they are working on the causes. Not got a clue about 8 person lobby I’m afraid. Hey andrew, My name is Caleb I am currently contemplating the console edition of 7 days to die due to the macbook air not being able to run it well. I have an Xbox One and have looked at many reviews which are both good and bad. I was wondering if you could give me your opinion on if it is a worth buy or should I steer away from it? I would definitely get it! I saw mixed reviews on it but I had such a blast playing it and would call it the most fun game I’ve ever played. Despite occasional bugs and crashing, I would definitely recommend it to you. Hi Caleb. I was in a similar boat to you. I tried it on PC but mine just wasn’t up to playing it without serious lag. The console version of the game allows me to play a game that I wouldn’t be able to play otherwise. However, if you are expecting to play the same version as what is currently on PC you will be disappointed as it is quite a bit behind. There are also a couple of big bugs that can interrupt play (kicked out of mp and terrain resetting) but these are what I consider nuisance bugs than game breaking ones. Personally I’d say get the game but if you are still not sure then watch a couple of the videos on Youtube for console play. Hello, I was just wondering when they will fix multi-player on xbox one. My nephew and I try to play but when he gets to close to me he gets kicked out. Otherwise than that the game is great. There are a few issues relating to multiplayer which the devs know about and are working on resolving. I don’t know any specifics as I don’t personally experience the same trouble as you with mp (I only get kicked out after about 1hr20mins of play with a friend). Your best bet is to check out the official forum here https://7daystodie.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?86-7-Days-to-Die-Console. Specifically check the bug reporting section and see if there is anything there matching your issue. If there isn’t it may just be worthwhile leaving a report yourself and seeing if a dev gets back to you. Keep surviving! no fix to the ugly graphics? Sure the graphics aren’t the best for current gen consoles but you can’t say they are ugly. Considering that the game is tracking every single voxel interacted with in the world whilst regulating zombie and animal spawns, loot, weather, a day and night cycle, shadows and the actions of the player I think it is doing really quite well. The added content is great. Very happy to have some of the PC stuff available now. Unfortunately the weather makes it almost impossible to play. Visibility is soooo bad. Any suggestions? It does seem very dark but that can be easily rectified. If you go into the options, video settings and alter the gamma setting then it will brighten up considerably. I’d say perhaps about 35% otherwise it will whitewash everything. Also, make sure to tick the checkbox for distant terrain if it isn’t already. It would be nice if we could change video options while in game so we don’t have to quit and reload to test them!;) The added content is great. Very happy to have some of the PC stuff available now. Unfortunately the weather makes it almost impossible to play. Visibility is soooo bad. Any suggestions? Apparently i felt so strongly about this that i posted it twice. Wait when will this update come out? At EST Time, I didn’t check much sites to when it will come out, I’m just wondering because I looked for the update and it didn’t say anything on my XBOX 1. It came out this weekend for Xbox One. Downloaded it yesterday. Alright, I was just wondering because I didn’t get it. :c. Wait I got it YESSS!! I can’t to play this update! I’v been waiting so long. 😀 My system says it has patch 1.04 on it but I don’t see anything new in game. And most of my s*** is gone now!! So my feedback so far this patch sucks. Recipes are missing from my crafting menu after this update on a new game…where is minibike seat and handlebars? And iron armor? I have recipes for both but neither appear where they used to. nvm, those recipes all require a workbench now. cool. would have been nice if that were in the release notes. Okay so my friend and I logged back into our world that was a bit old on 7 to check out the new update and we can’t find anything that has to do with the update. Is the game needed to update itself? For some reason we can find plastics, which is new, but no crafting is new, or skills. Subscribe to FM Gaming on YouTube. Trending Now. Around the Web. © 2009-2018 Flickering Myth Limited. Patch 10 announced for 7 Days to Die Console Edition (finally) The news that every 7 Days to Die console survivor has been waiting for has finally been announced on the 7 Days to Die forum……. Patch 10 is on its way and should be with us by the end of the month. Whooo! Over 100 new blocks have been added to the game. These blocks will only be available to players that start new games in Patch 10. Farming has been improved in Patch 10. The concept of fertilized land has been added, along with 4 new seed types (Yucca, Mushrooms, Chrystanthemum, and Aloe). These new features will only be available to players that start new games in Patch 10. Over 60 new recipes have been added to the game. Many of these have been added to complement the new Block Shapes and Farming features being added this patch, but a few exist to allow players to craft items that are already in the game. The above information is from the official 7 Days to Die forum. Personally, I’m really looking forward to the drawbridge, workstation changes and lootable gore blocks. What features are you looking forward to? Share in the comments below… I want to be able to craft out of a box without adding the items to my inventory. Better optimization, our game always crashes almost on the hour, EVERY hour. We love the game so much we deal with it. I’d like more lighting options, a way to create a water well, perishable food should spoil in 2 days in a box and require a refrigerator to stay fresh. More 7 days to die, please, I’ll give you all my monies. I know mods on the PC do the things you are asking for but you never know, they may arrive on the console version eventually. Yeah the crashing is a pain but it’s something they are working on. go play ark if you food like that. Ark is an excellent PvP but it just isn’t zombies. Anyone know if they are fixing it to where you can play local multiplayer with out it freezing and being thrown out of the game completely? It happens to us a lot more than we care to count. Infect we havent played the game in a few weeks because we got tired of nothing saving. Yes we have made several new games to see if it was just a bad one from the start. It still happens. Hell sometimes it will happen right when the other player joins. They are working on the multiplayer crashing but I think I read that they can’t isolate the cause. Some people have suggested it is to do with the internet provider but I find it hard to believe. WHEN IT IS NOW THE 26TH AND STILL NO NEW NEWS. yes i agree whats the delay? The new patch made the dogs run faster. So if you are low level and just starting a world and you run into a dog, you are literally dead. Your tools are too low level to fight back and the dogs run faster than you, so you cannot run away. I like playing this game and I would love to play a new world but I’ve tried starting a new one 3 times and every time I do, I get killed by dogs that I can neither fight nor run away from. Beyond frustrating. I cannot post on their forums about this issue because my account has to be verified. Unbelievable lack of support from the 7 days team. Subscribe to FM Gaming on YouTube. Designed to fix some gameplay, audio, art, crashing, and frame-rate issues, 7 Days to Die update 1.12 is now beginning to roll out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, developer The Fun Pimps has announced. Here’s the full list of changes: Bug Fixes and Improvements. BEWARE OF DOGS! We fixed a bug that was preventing them from reaching top speed Fixed an exploit that allowed players to steal owned minibikes Fixed an exploit that allowed players to duplicate minibikes and any items in their shopping baskets Fixed an exploit that allowed players to duplicate items using campfires Fixed an issue that would cause a client to spawn with an empty inventory if the network disconnects during their first attempt to join a session Fixed an issue that would cause a held minibike chassis to become stuck in the world when the player quit Fixed an issue that caused the minibike’s light to turn off when it was hit Fixed an issue causing falling debris to destroy iron bars placed on their side Fixed an issue with animal hide leg armor that allowed it to be equipped on top of other leg armor and become unequippable Fixed an issue that was causing windows to rotate 90 degrees when upgraded to iron Fixed an issue that prevented storage boxes from being rotated Fixed an issue that would cause wooden signs to be doubly placed when placed on a supply crate Fixed an issue that prevented wooden signs from being written on in single player after being written on in Split-Screen. Fixed an issue that prevented fire sounds from playing when zombies were burning Fixed an issue that prevented some biomes’ ambient SFX from playing Fixed an issue that would cause the panting SFX to continue playing even if stamina was replenished Fixed an issue where the player wouldn’t animate from another player’s perspective when shooting with the Wooden Bow Fixed an issue that was causing the sneaking status icon to remain on the screen after death Lowered volume of SFX associated with canceling an item in the crafting queue Fixed an issue that prevented the Auger and Chainsaw idle SFX from playing when switching between them Fixed an issue where picking up and dropping items in the backpack and toolbelt would occasionally cause some UI overlap Fixed an issue that caused the horn sound to play over and over on the minibike when trying to access it while not being the owner. Fixed a crash that would occur when a player would quit out of a split-screen multiplayer game while a player in the game was on a minibike Fixed an issue that would cause items to vanish if the Host disconnected from an online multiplayer game while a client was attempting to move them into their inventory Fixed an issue that was causing frame-rate spikes when Vault Doors would fall off. If you’re experiencing MD5 errors, the development team says, “We are continuously looking for ways to improve stability and tracking down causes for MD5 resets is at the forefront of those efforts.” The last few patches have helped reduce the number of these errors dramatically. “That said, we will continue tracking these issues and look for ways to fix them as we find them,” they add. A release date hasn’t been given for the next patch, but The Fun Pimps teased that “there are features coming to console soon.” ‘7 Days To Die’ Update 1.04 now live for Xbox One. The open world survivor horror video game “7 Days To Die” has a new update rolling out today in the form of 1.04 for the Xbox One and PS4. The update fixes lots of crashes from the previous 1.03 update like the disconnection issue and sound effects issues with rain and thunder, while introducing a lot more bugs. According to a user on Reddit, the Xbox One version of the game has a bug that hampers a player’s ability to see other players and interact with the surroundings. You can check out the full list of patch notes below. Stability and Performance. Fixed an issue that caused a much higher volume of disconnects from Online Multiplayer games. Fixed an issue that was preventing zombie corpses from turning into gore blocks as quickly as they are intended to which caused drastic perf slowdown during horde battles. Implemented a system to back up save files on PS4 so that, if a user’s save data becomes corrupted due to a crash during the saving process, they will lose very little progress. This fix will only work for any future saves that become corrupted; it will not be able to recover data for users who have run into save data corruption prior to Patch 3. Fixed a crash that would sometimes occur while using the crafting menu. Fixed a crash that would occur when a player would take a part of a minibike while another player was driving it. Fixed an issue that was causing more frequent crashes in local multiplayer games. Fixed a crash that would occur when the first player for a local multiplayer game would quit out as soon as the second player joined. Fixed an unresponsive state that would occur on XB1 if the player removed the controller, suspended the game, added the controller back, and attempted to remove it again while on the main menu. Fixed a crash on PS4 that would sometimes occur when dismissing a controller disconnect pop-up. Fixed a crash that would occasionally occur when accessing loot containers. Fixed a crash that would occur on PS4 while loading a map after setting the system’s language to Arabic or Turkish. Fixed an issue where the lighting update in Patch 2 caused lighting inside buildings to be too dark. Fixed an issue introduced in Patch 2 that caused the Mining Helmet light to be too dark and have a dark ring obstructing the player’s view. Fixed an issue where the light on the Mining Helmet would constantly move and rotate back and forth. Fixed an issue where having motion-blur on while riding a minibike would cause the character model to shake violently. Fixed an issue where the texture on the terrain would occasionally fail to load. Fixed a number of miscellaneous issues with character models and animations. Fixed an issue where SFX for thunder would play at too high a volume. Fixed an issue where SFX for rain would play at too high a volume. Changed horde spawning slightly to ensure each of the players in a MP game will get attacked by a horde, no matter where they are in the world. Added an improvement so the player can hold “X” (on PS4) or “A” (on XB1) on the left arrow to increase the number of items to craft when crafting. Fixed an issue where hordes would vanish and fail to respawn if a player quit out of the game in the middle of a blood moon. Fixed an issue where doors to pre-existing buildings and POIs would respawn after having been destroyed by the player. Fixed an issue where it would briefly be snowing on world load, regardless of current biome. Fixed an issue where the minibike would occasionally stop on steep slopes. Fixed an issue where time would pass in the game while in the “Building Environment” portion of the world loading sequence. Fixed an issue where structures near a large lake in Navezgane would collapse on player contact. Fixed an issue on XB1 where cobwebs would spawn when a player would place a Minibike Chassis. Fixed an exploit where a player could duplicate wooden crates by building a diving-board-like structure and standing on top of a crate placed near the end of it. Fixed an issue where the menu cursor would not snap to search bars. Fixed an issue where the pipe bomb would fall to the player’s feet when thrown. Slightly increased the number of bird nests that spawn into the game. Added the version number to the main menu screen. Fixed an issue where the layout of the D-Pad controls was inconsistent across items. The controls will now generally go as follows: DOWN: “Drop” RIGHT: “Favorite” and “Scrap” LEFT: “Recipe,” “Repair,” and “Use” UP: “Equip” and other, context-sensitive controls. The game reminds me a lot of Minecraft but with zombie survival. It truly feels like you're trying to live in the zombie apocalypse. You have to plan what and how you're going to survive with no time to spare because every minute counts. The crafting system is really enjoyable for me. There is a multiplayer but I rarely play it. The multiplayer can be very enjoyable if you make a private world and have some way of communicating with friends, like using group chat. Overall the game isn't perfect it definitely is one my favorite games on the Xbox One. 172 out of 186 people found this helpful. Honestly, this is a very enjoyable co-op zombie game. I think it has a lot of potential, but for a game to have such bad graphics and I don't mind it, it shouldn't have outragest amount of crashes and bugs. Me and my friend spent a good amount of our time playing the game. We looted, created, and survived a lot and created our base. Then the game froze and kicked us off and I was like oh it just froze, but this time instead it logged me back on and deleted all my item crates and plus it built all the walls we took down in the base and we lost so much. Please fix this issue and fix all your bugs take a week of the game to fix it please. I love it. But im really upset and angry for my lost of work. And then the game saved the items lost so now i cant even go back and open another save and get all my work back. Eh. 181 out of 200 people found this helpful. love this game . but. i started out loving this game even thought it crashes . alot then after 60 days(in game = 60hours) the game clean slates the building we were in lost hours of scavaging, mining, crafting stopped playing on the spot. i will not touch this game again until some real updates come out. 159 out of 182 people found this helpful. FIX THE BASE RESET BUG ASAP. It's an amazing game, but having spent hours on my base for it all to be lost is totally game breaking. What's the point of even playing if you're going to just lose all your time and effort. 281 out of 319 people found this helpful. Please please please fix this game! This game is super addictive and enjoyable. So much so that a few of my friends decided to join me and share in an amazing and productive experience. These friends have decided to no longer play this game now, however, due to constant crashes and world corruptions that reset chunks to their day 1 state centered around our base. I want to play this game again without fear that days of progress will simply disappear. 103 out of 114 people found this helpful. Zom-pocalypse Sandbox. It has no noticeable plot, just a simple concept. You choose a character "IMAGE" (NO SPECIAL SKILLS, we'll get to that.) You choose some options to adjust the sandbox. Your "IMAGE" then wakes up wearing his/her birthday suit in a "MINECRAFT-ESQUE" Zombie infested world. You then level up a generic skill tree that will ultimately aid in your survival. Its a port of a 2013 PC game, so its graphics are NOT the greatest. The sounds are also NOT the greatest. The controls, physics, mechanics, and hit detection are NOT perfect. There are bugs and glitches and rage-inducing crashes. So why give a 4 * review? Because, while all these things aren't the greatest, they all still are good enough to present a great game that is easy to get lost in, and just have fun. 4 out of 5. 31 out of 32 people found this helpful. Great co-op Experience! Picked this up during the New Year's sale and going into it with little expectations I found myself pleasently surprised! The crafting is well done and the ability for randomy generated worlds give way to endless amusement, especially with friends. The AI at times can be a little dumb (in one instance I walked right up to a bear and it didn't even notice me) and the controls are a little awkward at first but you adapt pretty well. All in all a good time can be had, especially with a buddy or two! 150 out of 170 people found this helpful. The zombie game you've been waiting for. This game is incredibly addicting. It's one part State Of Decay, one part ARK/Minecraft. 2-player couch co-op, 4-player online co-op or PvP. Set in a vast open world, you roam through frozen tundras, forests, deserts, destroyed cities, log cabins, underground bomb shelters, caves, and more. You must take into consideration effects such as hunger, thirst, body temperature, infection, injuries, and fatigue as you gather enough supplies to construct weapons and even a base, from which you can repel wandering zombies and the Horde, which arrives every 7 days, in increasing difficulty. Make a .44 Magnum, a refrigerator, spike traps, a minibike, and hundreds of other items to increase your odds of survival. Dozens of skills to level up. The game is a work in progress, but the development team is constantly working on improvements and adding new features and items. I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys zombie, crafting, survival, or open-world games. Worth 2x the asking price! 126 out of 142 people found this helpful. great except it crashes and loses your stuff. loved the game. until 112 days in it crashes, lost my entire stockpile because half my fort was erased. total loss. this game should enable backup saves. 16 out of 16 people found this helpful. Maybe someday. but not today. Pretty much the best game out there. That said this game is loaded with bugs. The world will reset destroying your base, CONSTANT crashes that shut the game off & returns you to your dashboard, no option to save when, and you will, lose everything. They have a Forum, not an actual help desk, so reporting problems will be in a sea of other forums. When they release about 5 or 6 updates to combat the hundreds of bugs & crashes THEN you should buy this game. So much potential but sooooo many problems. Its not ready for consoles I guess. 82 out of 92 people found this helpful. Translate to English. Язык Microsoft Store: United States - English. Вас интересует язык Microsoft Store: Россия - Русский?
