Mad Max Walkthrough and Guide - Find History Relics, Demolish Camps. Make your way through the Wasteland with information on camps, scraps and collectibles. This is a free walkthrough for the Mad Max video game. Mad Max released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC on September 1, 2015. The game was developed by Avalanche Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (WB Games). While it takes place in the Mad Max universe created by the Mad Max: Fury Road film, this is the only similarity between the movie and the game. Max is not modeled after Tom Hardy, Furiosa is not featured and events from the film are not in the game. The Mad Max video game is an open world, mission-based vehicular combat adventure with Max driving around the Wasteland in search of scrap and other artifacts. There are plenty of side activities to partake in that allow you to find different collectibles like hood ornaments or increasing your vehicle collection. You can also level up Max and his vehicle a multiple ways. Mad Max Tips. Early in the game, you should collect as much scrap as you can. It's the currency of Mad Max and you'll need it for almost everything. Every camp you demolish will periodically award you with a set amount of scrap (usually 20 for each camp). Demolish as many camps as possible to increase the total amount of scrap you earn. Use the harpoon to drag out drivers of enemy vehicles so you can ride around without being attacked and surprise your enemies. If you're in need of scrap, destroy enemy vehicles to collect the scrap they leave behind. Turn in enemy vehicles to one of your strongholds to add that vehicle to your collection. While you won't have to worry about fuel for the Magnum Opus for the most part, it's important to keep an extra fuel tank in the back of the car in case you need to use it for an explosion or to fill up another car's tank. Don't drive recklessly in the Wasteland. Taking an ill-advised jump or even hitting a bump while driving too fast will cause damage to your vehicle, indicated by a crack on the screen (windshield). If the Magnum Opus is heavily damaged during vehicle combat, jump out and dodge the enemy vehicles while Chum fixes it. It usually doesn't take more than 30 seconds for Chum to completely repair the car. Ammo is extremely limited in Mad Max. Do not waste ammo unless you absolutely have to (or to take out snipers once you have the long shot). Using a shiv to finish off an opponent makes Max lose the weapon. You can only carry a limited amount of shivs, so use them sparingly. During melee combat, always turn the camera so you can see a majority of the enemies surrounding Max. It's not uncommon for enemies to attack off camera if it's not positioned correctly. Access all vantage point locations to spot as many areas of interest to make them appear on your map. When you upgrade Max's abilities via Griffa, you have to spend all of your points. You can't spend two or three points, then leave. You're also limited in how many points you can apply to each category based on your level. Keep this in mind and do not speak with Griffa unless you can spend all of your points on the categories you want upgraded. When you find water, replenish your health first, then fill up your canteen. Water is somewhat scarce and food is even harder to find, so watch your health and replenish water as often as possible. Food cannot be saved like water. When you find food, your choices are to leave it or eat it on the spot. If your health is nearly full, leave it for another time. Mad Max Walkthrough. Find Chum and escape the Graveyard as you begin to build the Magnum Opus. Unlock Jeet and Gutgash's strongholds and install the sniper rifle! Find Dim Rim's convoy, equip the Thunderpoon and then save Pink Eye. Complete Dance With Death, then win the race using the Speed Demon in Fumehead's Debt. Beat Stank Gum in The Gastown Race, then defeat Tenderloin and Scrotus. Find Glory, then defeat Stank Gum and Scrotus to beat the game. Wasteland Missions. This game's Zombie mode offers many hours of fun killing. Plus, if you get three others, you can do some nice multiplayer play. Don't screen-cheat! Set in the year 2025, this is the next intsallation in the COD series. Black Ops 2 has a lot of changes and improvements that set it above the earlier episodes and make it shine. There are Zombies split screens as always, and it is possible for up to eight players to play. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Another COD. Needless to say, the new Survival or Special Ops modes are a lot of fun to play with a friend. I put over 60 hours with my friend in the first two weeks I had the game. Yes, I'm a fanboy. Kinda. Halo Reach Split Screen. The series that started it all for Xbox. Great co-op campaigns in military science fiction style. An interstellar war has broken out between humanity and the Covenant, a religious alliance of aliens. Combat Evolved is the first in the series and is still one of the best video games of all time. The fantastic conclusion to the story set into motion in Combat Evolved . Another first-person shooter game similar to Combat Evolved but with a great new addition: firefight. From the next great stop in the Halo series, Reclaimer . This game has four-player split screen for some modes and is definitely the best in the series (in my opinion). Left 4 Dead. These games feature great zombie-killing fun. In split screen mode, two players can play together. In versus mode, four people can play at the same time. This is a must-have for all fans of zombie-killing. Join your friends to play as survivors in a post-Apocalyptic world. Fights hordes of diseased zombie-like people. Left 4 Dead 2 is a sequel with five new campaigns, each with three to five separate levels, as survivors try to get to safe zones away from the diseased. Earth Defense Force. Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon. This is a lower-budget series made by a Japanese company, but still a lot of fun. The Earth Defense Force must protect the planet from potentially hostile alien beings. The EDF must defend New Detroit with help from bio-engineered terrestrial insects. Players go by the name "Lightning Alpha," and lead an elite team of fighters, known as "Strike Force Lightning." Insect Armageddon is the fourth game in the Earth Defense Force series and the first one to enable online co-op play. Dungeon Defenders. Dungeon Defenders is a very fun strategy Xbox Live Arcade series. The games combine tower defense, role play, and action/fantasy. With help from a band of wizards and warriors, you control a hero that fights to protect crystals from waves of goblins and other enemies. Up to four players can play split screen. Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter. Tom Clancy's series of Ghost Recon games feature shooting as part of a U.S. Special Forces unit. The games begin in Russia, but Advanced Warfighter takes place in Mexico City and features next-generation weapons, graphics, and combat mechanics. Advanced Warfighter is third in the Ghost Recon series. Players work as tactical shooters, taking cover behind objects to stay alive. More Games to Play Co-Op. Splinter Cell: Conviction Great stealth, third-person shooter action. Really addictive and fun. Army of Two Another shooter that's decent co-op fun. Either like it or you don't. Rainbow Six: Vegas A first-person shooter game that is really one of my favorite split screen games. Give this one a shot. Kane & Lynch A pretty horrible game, but the co-op features are a lot of fun. Resident Evil 5 The shooting isn't the greatest, but it's a pretty good game that you should try. All Zombies Must Die A Xbox live arcade game that is really fun for the price. Totally worth the download. Portal 2 Addictive and challenging puzzle game. Try this for sure. Dead Island Not a split screen game, but you can system link it with a friend for a lot of fun. Castle Crashers Xbox live arcade featuring four-player split screen with a lot of (immature) fun. Fable 3 A role playing, hack-slash type game, really fun for many hours. Resident Evil 6 In my top five favorite games. It has great horror, action, and gameplay with a pretty big campaign. More Co-Op Xbox Games to Check Out. Dynasty Warriors 6 A JRPG hack and slash game. Fun for those kinds of players. Tekken 6 An arcade fighting game to show you can beat up your friend. Pretty fun. Rage FPS Co-op Missions that are really fun but it'll only take a few hours to beat it all. Outfit A very cheap game that is actually very fun. Give this one a try for sure. Lost Planet 2 Third-person shooter game that is kind of annoying, but the co-op is pretty good. Dungeon Siege 3 RPG that is pretty fun if you're into RPGs; if not don't try it. Unreal Tournament 3 It has great FPS campaign that comes in different modes like CTF, TD, warfare, and many others. It also has vehicles which add a lot of fun to this game. Mortal Kombat Arcade fighting game with pretty good co-op gameplay in ladders and even online matches. The Expendables 2 Great XBL Arcade game that features four-player split screen co-op. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Great arcade fighting game that you and a friend can dominate and work together to defeat other teams around the world for great competition. Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse Has pretty fun split screen co-op, but it is very short and you'll finish within 5-6 hours and never play again. Their is a newer EDF game called Earth Defence Force 2025. I think there is another one but I'm not sure. Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory has harder split screen stealth than conviction, but it's still fun. The only problem I have is that when you botch the job, you can't just gun everyone down like conviction. This is a pretty big problem I have, since my two sisters love to play games with me. Age Of Booty is a very fun pirates RTS Xbox 360 Marketplace game with online multiplayer for 8 players and 4 player splitscreen multiplayer. Its only £3.40 and is compatible with Xbox One consoles. The best of best of Midnight Club sequels was Midnight Club Dub Edition Remix. This game had a in depth creator options for very vehicle from sports bikes, choppers, import/turner, muscle cars, luxury sedans, and SUVs/trucks. The car selection was amazing in this edition of Midnight Club for the Xbox and PS2. Also had the option to create your rider for your motorcycle choosing his/her outfits which is way better than the default guy on Midnight Club Los Angelas for the Xbox 360 and PS3. Midnight Club L.A felt rush and wasn't a in depth game when it comes to the franchise in racing, customizing a vehicle of your choice. I am big fan of RockStar and Midnight Club racing games, but was very disappointed in the final product (Midnight Club L.A) that I had purchase. The Midnight Club is the only racing game that has a complete story and is not about online game play. My recommendation will be to show the competitors what a real racing game should be with in depth story, customizing vehicles, and also having local and online mulitiplayer. Okay im a Midnight Club Veteran I had every single midnight club and completed them all through the years. Midnight club LA was a truly amazing game to me because it had all the cars update at the time and you were allowed to customize your car with aftermarket front and back bumpers and if you worked hard enough in the game you unlocked wide body kits. Im a car enthusiast, so this game was my favorite over all the games available at the time. I had other racing games like forza, juiced and other stuff but Rockstar had everyone on midnight club because of the racing and car customization. I agree with epthaman about the story line it was really incredible. A new, free update for open-world crime game Mafia III has arrived, adding new car customization options and a racing mode, among other things. Car customization was a "big request" from fans, publisher 2K Games said in a blog post. The new DLC adds 10 new customization options, six of which can be unlocked through normal gameplay. Three others are available with the Family Kick-Back DLC (it was free for people who preordered the game and goes for $5 otherwise), and one is a brand-new car called the Griffin Marauder. To customize the cars, you need to visit any of the nine Big Rick's Gararage locations throughout the game. There you can add things like decals, exhauts, spoilers, wheels, and superchargers. With the new update applied, there are now more than 50 customization options available in the game. The Mafia III update also adds a racing mode. Available in the game right now are 12 races; six are circuit lap races and the other six are point-to-point ones. To unlock the races, you need to have a sit-down with all three of the game's lieutenants. After that, race markers will show up in the world, provided you are not being chased by the police. Placing highly in the races will earn you new customization options, while you can win the Griffin Marauder by "ruling the race courses," 2K said. Here's what the car looks like: Three new outfits for main character Lincoln Clay also come with the update, including "Bad, Bad Mr. Burke," "On the Prowl," and "The Classico." The only way to get that last one (pictured below) is to link your My2K account to Mafia III; you'll also get the Il Duca revolver for doing this. Finally, 2K teased that more free updates, which will include things like more customization items and bug fixes, are headed to Mafia III in the New Year.
