So the first MXGP game I played was MXGP 2 last year. It was really the only MX game I could find with MX vs ATV in limbo after THQ's fallout. Regardless, I turned to MXGP 2 to fill the void and it didn't disappoint. It's technically a simulator, but is easy enough to just jump in and play for fun. The riding feels real and the graphics are great. Unfortunately the only real difference between MXGP2 and MXGP3 are the graphics. Almost nothing else changed, which disappointed me a little bit. All user reviews. I love the graphics. I do not like the physics its like playing mx vs atv. I want realistic like mxgp2 where you actually fall of your bike and can spin out and not do a barrel roll and still be on your bike. I absolutely love mxgp2 but 3 its not worth it in my eyes if youre going for realism. Also the rev limiter the bikes hit it too easy. MXGP2 WAS PERFECT! I thought that was what mxgp was about, but everybody complaining about falling off the bike got everything messed up and a lot worse. I want another mxgp2 with better graphics and updated physics where its realistic. I'd also love if you could differentiate 2 strokes and 4 strokes like how they ride in real life. Rut dynamics are true to form. The bike canhook up & also cross rut. Rain & Wet tracks not only look real but the bike will lose its grip & struggle going uphill [ EX. loket ] Sound is better, especially with headphones. Gameplay is more realistic. 1st person mode is best to notice this. It like a GoPro camera. Its more stable than in MXGP 2 which cause dizziness. l highly recommend that mode and thats from someone who only raced in 3rd person. Customization has more options. Sponsors graphic kits. Less crashing, when passing on the inside or hitting a fallen bike. AI riders are competitive and will switch up their lines. Holeshots are harder to achieve and takes practice. I own MXGP for PS4, MXGP2 for xbox, Ride 2, and now this. so listen up beaches. MXGP3 has the best racing mechanics out of the 3 but MXGP2 has a better rider model so WTF Milestone. And MXGP2 had more modes like Real Events from the season which played out almost like a story mode. Whoever decided to remove this mode and remove the indoor stadiums can eat a mile long turd. I know those anus avengers at Milestone are just going to release these things later as DLC. So, I do recommend this game over any other bike racing game but it does feel like more could be added to it, and knowing how those sloppy pancakes at Milestone work, they'll keep updating this dirty lil' poodle until it's a golden retriever. 60 out of 67 people found this helpful. I have been searching for a game with these type of physics for well over 10 years now!! The new engine is amazing. I'd be willing to that most of you young bucks were in diapers when MX UNLEASHED came out for xbox 15 years ago. I literally have 2TB of all the newest and best 5 star games, from SKYRIM V:SPECIAL ADDITION, to FH3 ULTIMATE, FORZA 6 ULTIMATE, DIRT 4, PROJECT CARS, TITAN FALL 2, BF1, GHOSTLANDS GOLD and SIEGE, FAR CRY PRIMAL APEX, FALLOUT 4, HITMAN ALL EPISODES, JUST CUZ 3XL, CITY SKYLINES, SNIPER ELITE 4 DELUXE, GTA5, etc..etc..i have over 20 more to install!! I havent even played half these games, do to FH3 and CITY SKYLINES taking up most of my time. But i do know that this game is the s%$t. Def beats MX VS ATV UNLEASHED ENCORE SUPERCROSS EDITION which i also own. All im saying is i know a good game when i see one. 5 stars for sure. Brief review after a couple races. The graphics on here are awful compared to MXGP2. I hope they patch this game. The customization of your Rider and Bikes is awesome with a lot of game modes. I havent tried multiplayer yet due to the fact of a lot of issues are read about with online play. So far i would say stick with MXGP2 until they update this game.
