Die sims 3 xbox one

Once your family is in a house or location, pause the game, hold LB + LT + RB + RT, and it will say that Spoot is now available under "Decor Miscellaneous". Place him on your lot, and all cheats will become available. Note: Using cheats will disable challenges and achievements. However, you will be given the option to save your neighborhood before enabling cheats so you can resume the game later without cheats enabled. Start writing novels on your computer. Write fiction novels as they take the least amount of time. They will not bring you too much Simoleons. When you write, your skill will automatically advance. If your skill is high enough, you will be able to write more novel types/genres. The most money can be made from "Romance Novels". You will get royalties for six weeks once you finish a book. With the "Writing" skill maxed out, you can make approximately 40,000 Simoleons every week, which is more than the 34,800 Simoleons you can get by purchasing all neighborhood businesses, and takes less time to achieve. In three game weeks you should have a very high speed writing, 9 or 10 novels as best sellers, and 100,000 Simoleons. No matter how many times you use an object, if you sell it the same day you got it you can get all your money back. If your Sim is poor and needs body points or something else, buy a body machine and keep selling it back to get a refund of all your money. Easy Cooking, Fishing, and Gardening skills. This trick requires a TV with a Cooking, Fishing, or Gardening channel and a video game system. Have a Sim sit down and watch television. Switch the TV over to one of the previously mentioned channels so that the Sim can start earning his or her skill point. Then, have a second Sim go over and start playing video games. Notice that although the TV is displaying video games, the first Sim still has the skill meter above their head. Allow this Sim to sit there for as long as they please until they decide to do another activity of their own. After that, the skill meter should stay above their head until you start another Cooking, Fishing, or Gardening skill activity. As an added bonus, you can train two skill points at once. For example, work out and both the Athletic and Cooking skills will continue to rise. If you keep repeating the steps until each skill channel has been viewed, the Sim will keep learning the three skills as he or she goes on about their daily life, and four when doing skill activities. Free bookcase skills. Buy a bookcase, then have your Sim begin to study. Interrupt the action so that the book is placed on the ground. Sell the bookcase. The book can now do everything the bookcase could have done for free. Increasing chance to have baby boys. Have a pregnant female Sim eat apples to increase the chance of having a boy. Increasing chance to have baby girls. Have a pregnant female Sim eat watermelons to increase the chance of having a girl. Increasing chance for multiple babies. To increase the chance of having twins or triplets, have one or both parents have the lifetime reward of Fertility Treatment. Set one of your female Sim's traits to Kleptomaniac. Go to the graveyard, and have the Sim steal male remains. On the second day after putting the male remains in your home, a ghost will appear at 11:00 p.m. and disappear at 4:00 a.m. It will appear every other day. Socialize with the ghost every night it appears. When you become best friends with the ghost, it will begin appearing every night. Get the "Fertility" reward. Confess your attraction to the ghost. Ask to snuggle on the bed, and kiss him. Try for a baby every night until you start throwing up. You will now have a ghost baby that you can control. Ghosts in your house. Go to the graveyard, click on all the tombstones, and take all possible tombstones. Return to your house, and place them somewhere in your backyard. You now have a 70% chance of a ghost or two, or even a whole party of ghosts visiting your house each night. To improve your chances, write in the epitaph "Here Lies [Sim's name], The One Who Returns". Buy a guitar. Play it to learn how to play guitar. Keep playing until you reach 5/10 level, which gives you the ability to "Play For Tips". When you have that ability, go to the park with the guitar in your inventory. When you are in the park, click the guitar in your inventory, and select "Play For Tips". People watching you will become your friends if you keep playing. The higher your guitar skill, the faster they will become friends with you. Instead of using a cheat code to toggle "aging on" and "aging off" like in The Sims 2 , you can de-activate the age in "Game Options" under "Options". When you uncheck the box next to "Aging", your Sims will no longer become older. You can also slow aging down in this menu by setting the "Lifetime" bar. It can be set from 25 days to 960 days. Quickly advance age. Use the following trick to change your Sim's age (toddler, child, teen, etc.) quickly. Buy a birthday cake from the grocery store, and place it somewhere on your lot. Click the cake, and select "Have Birthday". Then, choose the Sim to be aged. This is a good method to get past the baby stage. Go to Pleasant Rest Graveyard. Near the gate is a bush called "Death Flower Bush". Harvest the flower from it, and keep it in your Sim's inventory. If you die, that Sim will give the flower to the Grim Reaper and be resurrected. Although the flower will not reappear there again, if your Sim has Level 7 Gardening, they can plant the "Unknown Special Seeds" found in the graveyard and some other places that have a chance to grow as a Death Flower. Note: Having the Green Thumb trait to revive the plant may help. Changing your name. To easily change your name, go to the map, and find City Hall. It should give you an option to change your name during the day between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. To get new clothes, you first have to buy a dresser from "Buy Options". Once there, click "Plan Outfit". You can put a total of three different clothes for each type (formal, every day, athletic, etc.). Learning all guitar songs from books. Have your Sim reach Guitar skill level 5. Have a level 5 book in their inventory, click the guitar, then select "New Song" to learn it. After reaching Guitar skill level 6, do the same thing with a level 6 book. Repeat the process until the Sim reaches Guitar skill level 10, and they will know all songs that were taught. Creating brilliant paintings or masterpieces. Create a stylized still life after it is unlocked. Choose "Genius", and make it in the largest possible frame. You will now have a much better chance of getting a brilliant painting or masterpiece. Building a basement. Put down staircases on a new lot to lower the terrain. Go to the bottom of the first one, and miss out one tile, then put down another staircase. Repeat this again to have three staircases. Delete the staircases. Use the "Level Terrain" tool to level the terrain from the lowest tile. Set it as big or small as desired. Using the "Straight Line Wall" tool, build walls around this hole so there are walls pressed up against hills. Build the room above so it covers the entire basement. Cover around the house with the "Foundation" tool; all the slopes should be covered up. Place one tile in the top floor, then create a staircase leading down to the basement. Make two or more foundation blocks at the front of the house, and place a staircase leading up them. Duck Time moodlet. Buy the Ducksworth of Bathington, and place it in your bathtub. When a Sim takes a bath, they will get the Duck Time moodlet which results in a +15 boost for four hours. Getting rid of dirty dishes. Drag an empty plate into a Sim's inventory, then drag it to sell. You will not get any money, but if your Sim does not have a dish washer, it is a quick and efficient way to get rid of dirty dishes. There is a glitch in Create-A-Sim mode that allows to you to make very strange faces. Go to the face designing area. Select a face part such as the eyes, and max out all the sliders one way or the other. Then, go to a different face part, and select one of the predesigned parts. Return to the eyes. The sliders will have reset to the middle, but the eyes will still look the same. This works for all of the face adjusting tabs. You can then continue to max out the size of the eyes and repeat. You can make eyes the size of dinner plates, very long cheekbones, huge noses, and more. Have a Sim call for pizza. When the pizza delivery man arrives, do not accept the pizza. The delivery man will eventually leave the pizza on the front porch, and it will never get stale. You can stack as many pizzas there as you want. If your Sims get hungry, just tell them to get a pizza from the front porch. EA game references. When you have the video game system and your Sims play it, zoom in on the TV to see that the games they are playing are various Electronic Arts titles. Have a Sim reach the top painting level to have the ability to create masterpieces. One of the paintings that can be created is that of a creature from Spore . Easy "This Is So Meta" achievement. Watch TV, then select the option to play video games. Play ten overall hours of video games to get the "This Is So Meta" achievement. Early this year, Xbox One and PS4 enthusiasts let out a cheer when EA announced that The Sims 4 will make it to the consoles. Just a few weeks ago though, we received news that the release date of The Sims 4 for Xbox One and PS4 version had been pushed back due to some technical difficulties and won’t see the light of day until 2017 or late this 2016. Developers are said to be having a hard time putting the game over to console, and that EA is planning to launch the game with all the DLCs and updates – requiring more time to get things ready and done. Sims fans around the world willingly extend their patience, but our recent snooping around web suggests that they may need to extend it a mile farther. We haven’t heard any update about the release date yet from EA, and all the news so far are nothing but a rehash of what we already know. Well, anyway, there’s no reason Simmers shouldn’t stay positive while enduring the wait because along with The Sims 4’s release for Xbox One and PS4, rumors has it that EA will provide a special feature for the upcoming title. Consider it a consolation prize, but the game’s console version is said to include a Pet Expansion. This special feature will allow users to adopt pets or create their own pets. The pets will be created through the “Create A Sim” feature, which includes nifty tools that will allow users to change their pets characteristics and personality. Aside from the Pet Expansion, other expansions of The Sims 4 will probably be made available for the Xbox One and PS4. EA has yet to announce the details though if they indeed plan to expand the game’s features for the console version. Those who play The Sims 4 PC version can purchase online several expansions to enjoy the game’s new features. Meanwhile, in a post on Tweeter, Sim Guru Sara hinted that the next few months will going to be “super cool” for The Sims 4 . The tweet has already been deleted, but Simmers are already excited. Recent teaser video leaked by gaming enthusiasts and creators themselves hinted that the new pack will have a unisex feature that allow users to use hairstyles for both male and female. We can just hope that the pack will be included the Xbox One and PS4 version of The Sims 4 . Blocked IP Address. Your IP address has been temporarily blocked due to a large number of HTTP requests. Die sims 3 xbox one

Once you get into the rhythm of babysitting your sim, you can get to the business of planning out their life for them. Whether you want to be a career criminal and start stealing things from your neighbors (protip: the Kleptomatia personality trait works wonders if you are planning to go around thieving) or you want to work in the Simlish government (beware the corruption of others!) there are many possibilities for your Sim's future. The game doesn't have any overt direction, which gives you the freedom to do just about anything with your sim. Of course, for those who crave structure, The Sims 3 has a goals system that allows you to accomplish certain "wishes" in order to gain karma points. The wishes are based on your Sim's personality traits and evolve as he or she develops a career path and forms relationships with others. Once a goal is achieved, karma points are awarded, which can be used to activate karma powers. Karma powers are bonus stat-boosting actions that you can use to accomplish a lot in a little amount of time. There are karma powers that improve your luck, make you beautiful, and even clean your house instantly, so having some karma points saved up is certainly a good thing. Of course, if you are the torturous type, there are also plenty of negative karma powers you can use to make a sim instantly ugly, sick, or worse. Although the goals and karma powers add an interesting twist and direction to the gameplay, it is important to point out that you can ignore this aspect of the game altogether and just play through any way you want. The Sims 3 is all about playing the way you want, and while this aspect of the gameplay is certainly fun, it is by no means mandatory. If you do use the karma powers though, you'll definitely get a lot more instant gratification out of certain situations, and if you don't want to work too hard to get a certain other sim to pay attention to you (or get another one to leave you alone), the karma powers are a great way to see immediate (and often hilarious) results. As far as technical specs go, the Sims 3 is a mixed bag. Unfortunately, the visuals didn't exactly transfer over from the PC version as smoothly as they could have, which means you are left with some baseline visuals that suffer from serious performance issues including framerate drops and a large amount of pop-in. The game also has some long loading times, even when you are just moving to a different part of the town, which can slow down your gameplay substantially. On the plus side, however, the world of the Sims is just as expansive on the consoles as it was on the PC, and there is plenty to explore on-screen no matter where you are in the game. The Sims 3 on consoles is definitely an achievement. Fans of The Sims who have longed for the open world of the PC version on a home console are finally getting a proper Sims game, and those who have never experienced the open world side of the Sims are in for a treat. Though there are some technical issues with the game (particularly in the visuals department), the core gameplay is solid, and there is plenty of fun to be had with the sandbox-style gameplay. So no matter whether you want to create successful, productive Sims or unleash your evil tenancies with some criminal-minded Sims who will terrify the neighborhood, the world is yours in the Sims 3; do with as you please. It may not be the console experience we're all used to, but it's certainly the definitive Sims experience on consoles, and one that must be experienced by those who do not have the PC version. By Amanda L. Kondolojy. CCC News Director. The world is certainly expansive, but pop-in and framerate shifts keep this one from looking its best. There is a big learning curve with the controls, which are not as intuitive as they could be. Still, basic actions are simple enough to perform. Simlish is still the most adorable language to listen to, and while background music is non-existent, generally your Sims make enough noise to break up the silence. The new console format allows you to have control of up to six Sims at a time, who you can follow, nurture, torture, or ignore. The possibilities are endless. And when they die. you can just create more! Not an average. See Rating legend above for a final score breakdown. Death. Death is the permanent state of (non-)existence in which a previously living Sim, pet, or other creature ceases to live. Causes of death range from natural causes (brought on by reaching the end of the elder life stage), accidents, player neglect, or through the deliberate player choice(s). In The Sims 2 , a deceased Sim's closest friends and family members will inherit a small amount of money through life insurance. If a sim is married or joined at the time of their death, any community lots or vacation homes owned are inheirited by their spouse. In The Sims 4 , no such monetary inheritance takes place, although items in a deceased Sim's inventory will be transferred to their offspring who live in the same lot. All Sims who witnessed the death, including those not particularly close to the deceased Sim, will receive a very sad moodlet (though household members who were not in the same room as the deceased Sim at the time of death will not be affected). Sims who witnessed the death of an enemy will receive a happy moodlet. [ TS4 ] When all Sims die in a household, or there are only children in the household (as in the case of The Sims 2 and later games), a game over occurs. In The Sims 2 , any orphaned babies, toddlers, or children will be taken away by an on-screen social worker, whereas in The Sims 4 , a message indicating that the orphaned Sim(s) will be cared for by social services will appear. In addition, when all teen and older household members die, all businesses and restaurants owned will be released back to the community (even if the deceased Sim has a living offspring residing somewhere else) and their prospective owners can generally only buy them as unfurnished lots. [ TS4 ] Although death is typically a state of absolute finality, there are several ways in which the dead may still be interacted with or even brought back to life. The spirits of dead Sims are often left to roam the world as ghosts, and there exist several legitimate (i.e. in-game) and illegitimate (i.e. cheating) methods to revive ghosts. Grim Reaper Edit. A dog dies in The Sims 2 . The Sim that has died is visited by the anthropomorphic personification of Death in the form of the Grim Reaper. However, the Grim Reaper does not come if a Sim dies in a Skydiving Simulator in The Sims: Superstar , if a Toadified Sim is eaten by a dragon in The Sims: Makin' Magic , and if a Sim is eaten by the Cowplant from The Sims 2: University . In The Sims 2 and The Sims 3 , the Grim Reaper plays a cameo depending on the method of death and the aspiration level [ TS2 ] of the Sim in question. Unlike most legends of the Grim Reaper, he seems to be a kind being in The Sims series. His personality is perhaps a reference to the personified Death character in Terry Pratchett's "Discworld" novels. His nice side shows when a Sim with a full aspiration bar dies of old age, during the animation of a pet's death, or resurrecting kids with the Resurrect-O-Nomitron. In The Sims Livin' Large , The Sims 2 , and The Sims 4 , a living Sim who is on the lot can plead with the Grim Reaper, asking him not to take the newly deceased Sim. The chances of success are determined by the relationship of the pleading Sim with the newly deceased, and pure chance. In The Sims , the Grim Reaper may be in a bad mood, and bring the deceased Sim back as a zombie. In The Sims and The Sims 2 , it is not possible to plead for a Sim who has died of old age. Also, it may not be possible to plead for a drowned Sim, as living Sims will not be able to get to the Grim Reaper if he is out in the water. However, if The Sims 2: Apartment Life is installed, an infallibly good witch or warlock with 9 or more magic skill can use the spell "Expello Mortis", which will reach further out, though it will not be able to reach the middle of a very large pool. Also, in The Sims 2: FreeTime , Sims who have summoned a Genie and successfully wished for the power to cheat death can plead for their own lives even if they are in the middle of a pool or have died of old age. In The Sims 4 , Sims cannot plead for the dead Sim's life before the actual reaping begins. In The Sims 2: Pets , the Grim Reaper plays a different animation for pets that die. In The Sims 3 , Sims can beg for their own life depending on the how happy the Sim was when they died. Somewhat "dramatic" music will play while the Grim Reaper is about. The Grim Reaper will reap the soul, leave a tombstone or an urn and then leave, similar to past games. Reviving Edit. The Golden Grave of a Sim who died of old age with the Pleasure Aspiration. Death, however, isn't always permanent. With a wide range of items and/or cheats, a Sim can be given a second chance at life. The Sims Edit. In The Sims: Unleashed , a Sim can go to Old Town and ask Miss Lucille to revive a zombie family member (human or pet); however, she cannot resurrect dead ones. The Sims 2 Edit. In The Sims 2: University , there is a special item, the Resurrect-O-Nomitron, which can restore Sims — for a hefty fee of up to §10,000. If the Sim who wants to bring another Sim back pays very little, the Sim will return as a zombie, with a set personality (outgoing 4, active 3, playful 1) and lose most or all of their skill points. Children will be resurrected perfectly regardless of the amount of money paid. Female zombies are also infertile and can no longer have babies without the use of cheats. In The Sims 2: FreeTime , A Sim can be revived with a Genie and his lamp, but if the wish fails, the Sim will be resurrected as a zombie. The chances of this happening are higher if the wish is made on the same day that the Sim died [confirmation needed] . In The Sims 2: Apartment Life , an evil witch can revive a Sim as a zombie by casting the Vivificus Zombiae spell at that Sim's urn or tombstone. In The Sims 2 Castaway , a potion called the Death Daisy Potion can be crafted. In The Sims 2 for consoles, the ghost player can challenge the Grim Reaper to a fiddle contest. If the Sim wins, they will be revived. Or, if the player wishes not to, the ghost player can pay §100 to be resurrected. The Sims 3 Edit. In The Sims 3 , there is a special plant called a Death Flower. If a Sim is carrying this flower in their inventory at the time of their death, when the Grim Reaper shows up, the ghost will offer him the flower. Seemingly deeply moved by this gesture, the Grim Reaper will proceed to instantly resurrect the Sim. A Sim can be resurrected once for every Death Flower in their inventory. However, it seems that the Sim in question will suffer from any lowered motives, just to a lesser degree, so it is incredibly important to use this second chance to raise these motives before the Sim dies again. A patch in The Sims 3 makes it possible for a Sim with high Logic skill to play chess for the dead Sim's life. [1] Since chess is a hidden secret skill, that Sim's chances of winning are higher the more practice they have. This only works if the death was accidental; it will not help Sims who died of old age. The Grim Reaper will not take the lives of Sims with the Unlucky trait if they died prematurely, claiming that their demise was too amusing and predictable. Sims with this trait can only die from old age, and if they have the Immortal lifetime reward or drank the Age Freeze potion, they become completely immortal, as they cannot die in any way. By cooking Ambrosia, a ghostSim can be brought back to life once they eat it. In The Sims 3 , an opportunity named 'Oh My Ghost!' sometimes pops up when 2 or more Sims have died of any reason. The Sim with the two graves in their inventory receives the opportunity and can only let 1 ghost return from the Netherworld. The selected ghost will be ready to play as and can return to Netherworld whenever they like. The Sim who completed the opportunity can revive any ghosts with a price afterwards. In The Sims 3: Ambitions, if a ghost travels to the past by using the Time machine, they may be alive again. In The Sims 3: Pets , if a cat or dog is around when the Grim Reaper is reaping a Sim's soul, there's a 35% chance they will harass the Grim Reaper and bring the Sim back to life. In The Sims 3: Showtime , a Sim or pet can be resurrected by making a wish to a Genie. In The Sims 3: Supernatural , a witch can cast the reanimation ritual to bring them back as a zombie. As well, a witch can use the Sunlight Charm on said zombie to remove the zombification curse, bringing them back as a normal sim. In The Sims 3 and The Sims 3 Pets for console, players can resurrect a ghost with the Divine Intervention Karma power. In The Sims 3 Pets for console, if a Sim dies from an accident (or from a karma power such as getting hit with a meteor strike) their dog can harass the Grim Reaper and resurrect the dead Sim. Upon revival, the dog will lick the Sim and they will go and play. This only works if the dog was around when the death occurred. [clarification needed] The Sims 4 Edit. Sims who have achieved the Bestselling Author aspiration will receive a reward trait, Poetic, allowing them to write the Book of Life, which can be bound to a Sim and revive him, if the Sim dies. When a Sim dies, the Grim Reaper will descend and reap that particular Sim. Other Sims may plead for the dying Sim's life before the actual reaping occurs. By cooking Ambrosia, a ghostSim can be brought back to life once they eat it. In The Sims 4: Romantic Garden Stuff , Ghosts can wish for Life and have a chance to be resurrected. Intentional Death Edit. Players can utilize various cheats, objects, or game features to intentionally kill a Sim. This may be done for multiple reasons. Ways include: Using Rodney's Death Creator to kill Sims in various ways. Using the testingcheatsenabled cheat to lower a Sim's hunger need, thus starving them to death. Trapping a Sim in a pool by removing all pool ladders [ TS ] [ TS2 ] or by building a wall around the pool [ TS3 ] , preventing the Sim from exiting the pool when their motives drop too low, or forcing a Sim to swim when they're fatigued from exercise [ TS3 ] . Eventually, the Sim trapped in the pool will drown. Trapping a Sim in a room, then by some means starting a fire in that room. (i.e. a fireplace or fireworks [ TS:LL ] [ TS3:WA ] ) Using cheats to trigger aging in an Elderly Sim in The Sims 2 and The Sims 3 ; since Elder is the oldest life stage, getting older than this results in death. Having a Sim with low mechanical/handiness skill repair any electrical appliance or having any Sim repair an electrical appliance while standing in a puddle of water may electrocute that Sim. Having a Sim with no or low mechanical skill repairing a flat screen TV will instantly kill the Sim [ TS ] . Using testingcheatsenabled, Sims can be forcefully given the I Am Dead Token. [ TS2 ] Continuing to force an Elderly Sim to workout or woohoo until the "Dangerously Tired" moodlet appears. This will result in death if they keep working out or woohooing under the "Dangerously Tired" moodlet [ TS4 ] . Making a Sim playful, then having him/her drink a Happy Potion from the rewards store, can lead to death by laughter. [ TS4 ] Limitations Edit. In The Sims 3 , due to the way gravestones are spawned, Sims cannot die in areas outside of lots. For example, when a Sim starves while standing on a road, the Sim will not die. When a dying Sim is caused by a moodlet, the death will not occur, and most of the times the moodlet timer will just reset indefinitely or disappear with no effect. This applies to death by fire, starvation, mummy's curse, thirst, dehydration, and time anomaly. Sims cannot drown while swimming in an ocean. When the "Mummy's Curse" moodlet expires outside of a lot, the Sim does not die of mummy's curse. However, one of the traits is still replaced by the Evil trait. Meteors cannot be crashed in areas outside of lots. Sims cannot die of jetpack crash outside of a lot. Sims cannot die of time anomaly while scuba diving. Prior to The Sims 2: Bon Voyage , Sims cannot die on a community lot. In the initial release of The Sims 4 , Sims did not starve to death outside of their home neighborhood, but this limitation has been removed in recent updates. In The Sims Stories, the player's Sims do not die during the main storyline. Types of deaths Edit. Sims can be killed in a variety of ways which vary by game version. These include death by fire, shock, starvation, flies, being eaten by the cow plant and being scared to death. The Sims Edit. Starvation : If a Sim or Pet's hunger bar depletes completely, they will starve. If a Sim with low hunger is scared by a ghost, they are also at risk of starving to death. Drowning : If a Sim uses a swimming pool for too long, they might drown. Swimming with low energy increases the chances of this occurring, but it can happen at random. The pool ladder can be sold once a Sim is in the pool, and eventually they will drown because they can't get out. A soon-to-be-dead Sim. The Sims Bustin' Out Edit. Mutant plant : A mutant plant that's created by an incubator can eat other Sims if it is hungry. To avoid this, the mutant plant must be fed regularly. NPCs can be eaten, and this can produce ghost service Sims. High dive : When a sim using the High Dive dives into the ground if their comfort is low, they will die. Fire : When a sim with low cooking skill uses the stove there is a possibility of the stove catching on fire. If the sim catches on fire and is not extinguished, they will die. The Sims 2 Edit. Starvation : If Sims don't eat for a prolonged period of several days, they will starve. Sims who are teens and older can die in this way. Babies, toddlers, and children will be taken away by the Social Worker instead if their hunger need is low enough for too long. Electrocution : If Sims have low Mechanical skill and try to repair broken electrical items, they might be electrocuted and die if their needs drop too low. Sims who are teens and older can die in this way. Drowning : If Sims swim until their hunger or energy need drops too low, they will drown. The player can remove the pool ladder to prevent Sims from getting out of the pool. Sims who are children and older can die in this way. Fire : Sims who are on fire long enough and are not extinguished while burning will die. This is the only death that isn't caused by need drop. The needs of burning Sims will drop significantly, but cannot be lower than -90. This is why Sims will die even if the player constantly uses the maxmotives cheat or drags their needs with testingcheatsenabled cheat. Sims who are children and older can die in this way. Babies and toddlers [4] cannot die from fire. A Sim dying of Old Age happily. Old age : When elders reach the end of their lifespan, they will die of old age. This way, Sims cannot plead with the Grim Reaper to revive the deceased Sims. Sims can die happily if they are in gold or platinum Aspiration when they die. The Grim Reaper and two Hula Zombies will appear and relaxing music will play. The Sims will pick up their suitcase and walk off with the Grim Reaper. If their Aspiration is lower than gold, the Grim Reaper will show the Sim its hourglass of life and the Sim will try to pull it away from the Grim Reaper, but to no avail, and die. Sims who die in platinum aspiration will get a gold grave with their Aspiration's symbol engraved on it. Sims who die of old age will give inheritances to their family and friends. Disease : Sims who catch a lethal disease, such as Pneumonia or Mysterious Disease, will eventually die if not treated. Non-fatal diseases, such as the Flu or Cold, will not kill Sims, but will eventually turn into Pneumonia if their severity is high. Sims can be cured by resting, taking a cure from the Biotech Station, drinking orange juice [ TS2:S ] or eating Grandma's Comfort Soup [ TS2:FT ] . Sims who are teens and older can die in this way. Children will not die from disease, as they will be taken away by the Social Worker if they reach that point. However, the Social Worker will also take away all other children in the family, regardless of their health. It should be noted that many players find it incredibly difficult, if not impossible for a Sim to die from disease during normal gameplay, unless they get a mysterious disease using the Biotech Station. Unless the disease is 100% lethal your Sim will most likely recover on their own from anything. Flies : If a lot is too dirty and contains many fly-infested objects, such as dirty dishes, there is a chance that the flies could form a killer swarm when Sims step over a fly-infested object and eat the Sim alive. Servos are immune to this death. Fright : Sims who see a ghost will have their motives fall drastically. If any four of the needs drop too low, Sims will die. Sims who are teens and older can die in this way. Children will wet themselves or pass out, instead. If a Sim's hunger reaches zero, it's possible for them to die of starvation instead. Satellite : While Sims are watching clouds (daytime) or stargazing without the telescope (nighttime), there is a very remote chance that a satellite will fall on them. The satellite can be sold in buy mode, but it devalues quickly. Sims who are teen and older can die in this way, as can Servos. Death for no reason : Some Sims die for no reason, the "mysterious choking death". This is a bug that has been fixed by patches and in later expansions. It is caused by a mistake in the disease coding. In the unpatched base game, pregnant Sims were extremely vulnerable to sudden death. Scissors : If player downloads the Running with Scissors Playset from the Maxis site and a Sim runs with them, there's a chance they may fall and be stabbed. This object can no longer be downloaded since the website shut down on January 14, 2013. Servos can die in this way. The Sims 2: University Edit. Cowplant : Sims who attempt to grab the cake from a hungry Cowplant ( The Laganaphyllis Simnovorii) will be eaten alive. The Grim Reaper does not come when Sims are eaten by the Cowplant. Instead, the tombstone will come directly out of the Cowplant's mouth. Sims cannot plead with the Grim Reaper to resurrect the Sim, nor can eaten Sims plead for their own lives [ TS2:FT ] . Servos can die in this way. The Sims 2: Nightlife Edit. Coffin scare : Sims can peek in a vampire's coffin with a vampire in it. The vampire may scare the peeking Sims and lower their motives. If Sims' needs fall too low, they will die. Sims who are teens and older can die in this way. This death is similar to death by fright, though they don't have the same ghost. Sunlight : If vampires are exposed in the sun for too long, their needs will drop significantly. If their hunger, comfort, energy, fun, and hygiene needs drop too low, they will sizzle and die. This death is limited to teen vampires or older. The Sims 2: Open for Business Edit. Rally forth : If a Sim uses the Rally Forthbusiness perk and their needs drop too low, they will choke from shouting and die. The Sims 2: Seasons Edit. Wishing well : If a Sim wishes for money from the wishing well and the wish fails, there is a 25% chance that the sack of money will be worth §1 and kill the Sim outright. Hail : Sims who are bludgeoned by hail will have their needs reduced significantly. Sims whose needs are too low when bludgeoned by hail will die. Sims who are teens and older can die in this way. Servos are immune. Lightning : When Sims are struck by lightning and their needs get too low, they will die. Sims who are swimming or in a hot tub have a higher chance of being struck. The Sims 2: Apartment Life Edit. Murphy bed : When opening the Murphy bed, if a Sim has less than 5 body skill and -70 or less mood, there is a 5% chance that it will fall on and crush the Sim, instantly killing them regardless of their needs. Their ghost avoids the bed that killed them. Other causes of death Edit. Some things that can kill Sims do so by causing a death from the previous list. The following events do not directly kill the Sim, but cause death indirectly, usually by lowering a Sim's motives to the point of death. Elevators : If the elevator breaks down while Sims are in it, their needs will drop. However, they will not die unless their hunger drops too low, from which they will die. Evil snapdragon bouquet : A poorly-made snapdragon bouquet will become evil. An evil snapdragon bouquet will decrease Sims' motives slowly, but not significantly. This can eventually deplete the hunger need, causing Sims to starve. Evil Kite : A poorly-made kite will become evil and attracts lightning when flown. This works like death from lightning and will not kill children. Sack of money : If the wish fails, there is a 75% chance that the sack will be worth §25 and fall on the Sim. This will drop their needs, but not fatally. However, if the hunger need drops too low, the Sim may die of hunger. Witch throne: When a Witch sits on an opposite-alignment throne, e.g. Good Witch sits on Claw of Darkness throne, the Witch's needs will decay drastically, similar to the way the needs decay when Sims use The Eclectic and Enigmatic Energizer with low aspiration. This might cause the Sim to die of hunger. The Sims 2 (Console) Edit. Starvation : When a Sim goes a long time without eating they can starve to death. Electrocution : When a Sim tries to repair an object while standing in a puddle or with a low repair skill they have a chance of being electrocuted. Fire : When a fire starts and a Sim is unfortunate enough to be caught in it they will most likely die. Dancing on own Grave Stone: When a Sim dies and is brought back to life their gravestone will still be on the lot. Should a Sim come back to life, they can dance on their own grave, prompting them to be set on fire and die again. Vitalize : If a Sim uses a vitalize machine while needs are low there is 50% chance they will die Poison : Making a food using Llama, Beet, Flauxlestra and Squid is going to make any Sim puke and die. Cheating: If a Sim cheats on the slot machine, their arm may get stuck in the machine and they will die. The Sims 2 (Nintendo DS) Edit. Sims cannot die in The Sims 2 (Nintendo DS) . They will pass out when losing all their sanity, and recover in the Manager's Suite. They lose their sanity by having a low hunger or hygiene need [citation needed] . This is the same with The Sims 3 (Nintendo DS). The Sims 2 (PSP) Edit. Starvation: When a Sim goes a long time without eating they can starve to death. Vampires' hunger need will decrease faster in the sun, which can cause them to die from starvation faster. Headache: If a Sim's headache need is not filled, they may die after a long period of time. Vitalize: If a Sim uses a vitalize machine while their needs are low there is 50% chance they will die. Drowning: If a sim relaxes or sleeps in the water bed they have a slight chance of facing Death. The Sims 3 Edit. A Sim who died on the street. Fire : If a Sim is on fire for one hour, then they will die (Sims with the Daredevil trait or the hidden Pyromaniac trait take three hours to die; those with the hidden Immune to Fire will not die). There are various causes of fire, listed in Fire. Drowning : This can happen if the Sim is too tired and has the "Fatigued" moodlet. If the Sim is unable to exit the pool, (walls around the pool, etc.) then they will drown. Electrocution : Happens if a Sim gets electrocuted and receives the "Singed" moodlet, and then tries to fix another electrical object. A Sim can get electrocuted if their Handiness skill is too low, or if they are standing in a puddle while repairing an object. Starvation : If a Sim with the "Starving" moodlet does not eat (or drink blood, for Vampires) before the moodlet expires, they collapse, and die. There have been reports where Sims die by choking from participating in the eating contest from Seasons , though this is essentially a game glitch which actually addresses it as death by starvation. [5] This glitch was fixed in the version 1.50 patch. Old Age : The Sim reaches the end of the elder stage and dies. SimBots can also die from this cause and they will receive a different gravestone plaque. The Sims 3 Store Edit. Cowplant : If a Cowplant isn't fed for certain amount of time, it will pull out a slice of cake. As in The Sims 2: University , Sims will try to grab the cake and will be eaten. The eaten Sim's tombstone and ghost represent the death of starvation. Players can purchase the Cowplant here. Door of Life And Death : There's a pit monster under the doormat of the Door of Life and Death. Sims will be attacked by the monster and killed if they upset the Grim Reaper or lose the guitar challenge against him. The pit monster attracts paparazzis and zombies, so it's useful to get rid of them. The killed Sim's tombstone and ghost represent the death by drowning. Players can purchase the Door of Life and Death as part of Grim's Ghastly Manor here. The Sims 3: World Adventures Edit. Mummy's Curse : If a Sim loses a fight to a mummy, they are sometimes cursed, and receive a moodlet indicating this. In 14 days they will die by turning into dust. The curse can be cured with a visit to The Great Sphinx. The Sims 3: Ambitions Edit. Meteor : If a Sim is standing outside, there is an extremely small chance that you will get a note saying that it has suddenly gotten dark. A meteor shower is a rare in-game event that can occur in any world. If you don't move your Sim the meteor will crush the sim, ending their life. This is more likely to happen while using a telescope, raising the chance a bit. Sims near the impact may catch fire, and windows and furniture of your sim's house may be damaged from the impact if it struck their home lot. If your sims is standing too close to the fire, they may be burned and also die at the same time, but then by Fire. With Seasons , aliens are able to summon meteors and it is much easier to kill other Sims. The Sims 3: Late Night Edit. Thirst : If vampire's thirst need depletes completely, they will die of thirst by turning into ash. The Sims 3: Pets Edit. Old Age : (Pets only) Pets can die from old age when they reach the end of their elder life stage. The Sims 3: Showtime Edit. Human Statue : When a magician who performs the Buried Alive trick from the Box of Danger fails the trick, there's a chance they will die. The trick is unlocked at level 7 of Magician career. Losers who fail this trick and die will not be resurrected despite their trait's ability to escape most other deaths. Watery Grave : When a magician who performs the Watery Grave trick from the Box of Danger fails the trick, there's a chance they will die. The trick is unlocked at level 9 of Magician career. Although both deaths (Watery Grave and Drowning) seem to be similar, they're treated as distinct deaths in the game. As of patch 1.50, the ghosts for boths deaths have changed: Drowning is light blue, and Watery Grave is darker blue. The Sims 3: Supernatural Edit. Jelly Bean : If your sim picks and eats a Jelly Bean from the Jelly Bean Bush, there is a 1% chance that your sim will pick a fatal jelly bean, causing them to die by starvation. Haunting Curse : Witches with at least a level five of Spellcasting (hidden skill) can die if their attempted Haunting Curse spell fails and backfires on them, causing them to die of hunger. Transmutation : A Sim who uses The Philosopher's Stone may have a chance that they fail and turning them into a gold statue when transmuting other objects into gold bullion. If so, they will pose while turning into gold and die. The gold statue of their expression at the time of death will remain an object for Sims to keep. The Sims 3: Seasons Edit. Freezing (Hypothermia) : Frostbitten Sims can get frozen and collapse to the ground if they stay outside too long in an extremely cold temperature. If they're not thawed within 3 hours or get starved, they'll freeze to death. The Sims 3: University Life Edit. Blunt Force Trauma : Sims may die when they fail to open or close a Murphy bed, which will crush them to death. They can also be crushed in this manner by a vending machine, if slamming or shaking it while trying to get free candy or soda. Ranting : If a sim is ranting about death, there's a chance Sims will get a warning from the Grim Reaper when they rant about death and they will die by starvation. They will get a moodlet that will last for 12 hours. If they rant about death before this moodlet expires, the Sim will die and stay dead. The Sims 3: Island Paradise Edit. Running out of Air : While scuba-diving, Sims can run out of air if they stay underwater for too long or get starved, which can cause them to die. Shark Attack : A shark may appear while Sims are scuba diving. Sims can avoid the shark by hiding inside an underwater cave. The shark might attack the Sim, resulting in death, leaving some bones of the sim including their ribcage. Dehydration : If a mermaid is left without fulfilling their hydration need, they will pass out. Other Sims can splash water on the mermaid to re-hydrate them. Otherwise, if they are left without being splashed, they will die of dehydration. The Sims 3: Into the Future Edit. Time Anomaly : When Sims travel through time, there's a chance they will catch "Time Paradox Sickness" moodlet, that will last for 4 hours. If it's left untreated, it will turn into "Blinking In and Out of Existence", and then "Do I Even Exist?" moodlets, that will last for 1 day each. When the moodlet expires, Sims will die of time anomaly, which means fading out of existence. Descendants can also die with this way if the future is altered in the present. Their gravestones can be retrieved at a mausoleum. Jetpack Crash : Also known as falling from the sky. When a Sim flies around using a jetpack, there is an up to 25% chance that the Sim will fall, and the jetpack crashes into the ground which may or may not kill the Sim. The Sims 3 (smartphone) Edit. The cutscene when the Sim dies in the mobile version of The Sims 3 . There is no animation of Sims dying in the mobile version. Instead, an "In Memoriam" dialogue box appears and then shows a scene of a silhouetted Sim looking at the deceased Sim's grave with a light shining down on it. Tapping on the screen will bring the player back to the main menu. Starvation : If a Sim doesn't eat for a long period of time (several hours), they will starve and die. Bladder explosion : There is a chance that a Sim's bladder might explode during a bladder failure and the Sim dies. WooHoo : When a sim WooHoos with somebody, there is a chance that player will receive a dialog box saying "Your sim has woohoo-ed to death" and the Sim dies. This is similar to death by overexertion in The Sims 4. The Sims Medieval Edit. Dueling : Knights, Monarchs, and Spies have the option to duel to the death (as opposed to merely dueling to a knockout or surrender). The loser of such a duel will die. The victim will react to the killing blow, then fall on their back and die with their arms by their sides. Murder : Sims can kill other Sims. Sims can either poison other Sims or kill them with a wizard's spell. Execution : Sims that have been sentenced to death will be killed by the executioner. Starvation : If a Sim doesn't eat for a long period of time (several days), they will starve and die. The animation is identical to the death animation for starving from The Sims 3 . Pit Monster : If a hero jumps into the pit and loses the fight against the pit monster, they will be eaten alive. The Sims 4 Edit. The Grim Reaper reaping the soul of a dead Sim who died of starvation. Some of the deaths in The Sims 4 include hunger, fire, old age, electrocution, laughter, anger, and embarrassment. [6] Starvation : If the "Ravenous" moodlet expires, the Sim dies of starvation. Children, toddlers, and vampires cannot die this way. Children and toddlers will be taken away if their hunger bar is low. Fire : If a fire starts, Sims can catch fire if they are too close to the flames. If they are not extinguished in time, they will die. Old Age : A Sim who reaches the end of the Elder life stage will die when their time is up. Emotion : A Sim can die from experiencing extreme emotions: Hysteria: Sims who get the Hysterical Emotion and continue laughing will begin wheezing from laughing and run out of breath for the last laugh (and breath). Mortification: Sims who get the Mortified Emotion and are caught in an embarrassing moment will curl up into a ball from embarrassment and die on the spot. Cardiac Explosion (Rage) : Sims who get the Enraged Emotion and are angered again will die when they start stomping around and suddenly clutch their chest before dropping dead. Only non-Vampire Sims Young Adult and older can die from extreme emotions. The emotion deaths have a random element: Sometimes they will die right away, other times it can take a while. Electrocution : When fixing an electronic object, there is a small chance the Sim will get electrocuted, and it will give the Sim a Seriously Fried moodlet, making them dizzy. If the Sim tries to fix another object with the moodlet, they will die. Overexertion : If an elder is forced to work out or WooHoo with the "Dangerously Tired" moodlet, they will die. Cowplant : If a Cowplant is not fed for a period of time, it will pull out a slice of cake to lure Sims in. If a Sim tries to grab the cake, they will be eaten by the Cowplant and will be spat out, receiving a negative moodlet. If the Sim tries to grab the cake again with the moodlet, they will be devoured and die. Drowning : If a Sim runs out of energy while in a swimming pool, and is unable to get out, they will drown. Vampires cannot die this way due to not having an Energy Need. The Sims 3 Death Guide. Causes of Death, Killing Sims, and Immortality. This Sims 3 Guide was originally written for the PC and Mac versions of the game, but also will help owners of the console versions - PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii. Please remember some info or numbers may have changed. Previous: Learn about Ghosts, Hauntings, and How to Have a Ghost Baby This list will start for vanilla Sims 3, that is The Sims 3 with no expansions, and the list will grow as we learn new ways Sims can die with the expansion packs. Yes, your Sims' causes of death will vary depending on what expansions you have installed. I'll also include information on making a Sim die in a certain way for the deviant Sim killers out there. Owners of the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of The Sims 3 will find the vanilla deaths apply to their console port. With Aging on, Sims will eventually die of old age. This is the natural cause of death in the Sims 3, all other ways seem to be accidental. The life span is determined by what you've chosen in the options menu. Sims don't die immediately once the age bar on elder is full. They'll die at a random moment at some point, but you can't be sure what day they'll die. This is a realism feature. Ghosts of Sims who've died from old age will be white in color. To "kill" a Sim this way, just turn the aging option on and nature will eventually take its course. Sims can drown in the pool when they are swimming, but it's rare unless they're extremely low on energy. These ghosts will appear blue in color. To kill a Sim by drowning reliably, you'll need to use build mode to trap them in the pool with walls. Removing the ladder no longer works, as they'll just climb out. Failing repairs on electronics can cause a Sim to die from electrocution. They don't usually die from the first shock, but the second is likely a sure kill. Handy Sims are immune to this, because they never fail repairs. Sims with high level handiness are also unlikely to die this way. The more complex the device, the more likely the Sim is to die from electroction. The cheapest tv is not as likely to cause death as the transporter lifetime reward, for example. So do some studying before you send your Sim to repair the plasma TV. To trigger this cause of death, get your Sim to repair or upgrade an electronic and get shocked, then immediately jump in to try and get shocked again. It's a bit more tricky than your other options. Ghosts who die this way will be yellow in color. Fire kills Sims. It can strike at any time with low level cooking. If a fire breaks out, and your Sim is in the vicinity upon the moment of combustion, there's a chance of death. There's also a chance of death when a Sim is fighting a fire. For non-brave or pyromaniac Sims, this can be a concern. It's usually better to call the fire department and take the loss rather than risk the death of the Sim. To kill a Sim with fire, you could have them stand next to a fireplace (wall them in so they have little choice on where to stand). You can also teleport them to their doom with the Sims 3's testing cheats. Sims that are killed by fire will be red in color. The Sims 3 Ambitions expansion brings a new way to die in the form of the Meteor Shower. The sky will grow dark, and meteors will begin to fall. You should have your Sim vacate the area or they may get squished by one of these killers from the heavens, like the poor sap under the rock above. Like many Sims expansions in the past, The Sims 3 World Adventures introduces a new way for Sims to die: The Mummy's Curse. Sims get cursed by mummies sometimes after they lose in a fight. The likelihood of this seems random, as sometimes your Sim will get knocked out. If you do get cursed, you'll know it. Your Sim will be hit with an onslaught of dark energy from the mummy who will then leave them alone. From the moment your Sim is cursed, they'll have 14 days to cure it. If they haven't done any of the available options on the mummies page, they'll die, disintegrated in a cloud of evil energy. Nothing's wrong with your graphics card -- when the curse starts to get closer to taking effect, your screen will be met with a moving dark ring around the edges that looks very sinister. There will occasionally be evil music played as well as the time draws near. Upon death, Sims killed by the mummy's curse have dark, black and white ghosts as seen in the screenshot above. This hunger-specific cause of death is very rare. It takes about 48 hours Sim time for a Sim to actually die of starvation. If you can't grab a snack at the fridge in that length of time, you must intend to kill them. Killing Sims in this way is easy, just wall them up in a room (guests) or turn free will off (Sims of that household). Don't let them eat, and within a couple days they'll die and turn into a purple ghost. Death Flowers will cause the Grim Reaper to take the flower instead of the Sim's soul for all causes of death. With one in the inventory, your Sim will be immune to all forms of death, including old age. With Ambrosia, this can make Sims immortal without disabling aging. You can find death flowers in cemeteries or have your Sim grow them from special seeds in his garden. Unlucky Sims Avoiding Death. Unlucky Sims are immune to death by unnatural causes, such as accidents like fires. The reaper will spare the Sim's soul out of pity, so this trait is by far not useless. Use the form below to share your own experiences and provide helpful tips to other readers. I wanted to kill a sim whilst having Static Needs on. I didn't want to make a pool, so I couldn't use a drowning or starvation death. So I made him eat a jelly bean sweet, and to my surprise, the first one he ate was an instant kill one. Grim Reaper turns up, but my sim magically gives him a death flower which never existed. Just for the fun of it I made a sim I liked eat a jelly bean. Guess what? Happens again, but this time my poor sim doesn't produce a flower (duh? Why do they only give false flowers to sims I hate?). I this because both these sims were witches? Never happens with any other supernatural type. As an aside - I revived her brother who was born a ghost with ambrosia: He appears human now, but he glides everywhere! Go figure! Die sims 3 xbox one

Five years, eight expansion packs, and eight "stuff" packs after The Sims 2, and fans finally have the third stand-alone installment to the series. Considering all the development and content released for The Sims 2, it seems strange that The Sims 3 could be anything more than a retelling of the same story. However, with the addition of some new features and improvements on older ones, The Sims 3 may just be the best game in the series. Despite its upgraded graphics and features, The Sims 3 very much remains true to fans of the series. Veterans will have absolutely no problem diving in and getting to it. The user interface has remained mostly unchanged, which is a good thing considering how well it manages to take the complexities of the game and making them manageable. The game is also easy to learn for the newcomers. A brief tutorial helps introduce the user interface and features to the player, and it does an efficient job of it too. Once completed, "lessons" are available to the player in case they ever need a refresher. But, to The Sims 3's credit, these helpful tutorials don't even seem necessary considering how sleek and intuitive the game's controls are. Get exclusive PC Game Trainers at Cheat Happens. Once again, the developers chose not to deviate from the familiar when it came to how players control the action in the game. Managing your sims is mostly down to using the mouse and following through dialogue bubbles and text trees. Keyboard shortcuts provide a quicker alternative to those who care to memorize them. The sims are governed by six needs in this third edition, as opposed to eight in earlier versions. The removal of "Environment" and "Comfort," coupled with a minor tweaks to how the needs fluctuate, results in players being able to enjoy the many intricacies and events in the game much more than in previous titles. The visuals and music are a step up from previous Sims games, and it shows in the system requirements. Not only are the music tracks varied and interesting, but the player can choose which tracks get played and when. If you'd prefer to hear the indie tracks while in general "living mode," then make it so; if you'd rather hear rock tracks while your sim is at work, you can. The Sims 3 doesn't boast the greatest visuals out there, but its host of new features and gameplay options certainly pick up the slack - what little there is. Of all the new features and improvement that can be found in The Sims 3, perhaps the most talked and enthused about is the persistent towns in which your sims will live. Over are the days in which loading screens interrupted your sims' trips to work or movies. Now, players have the option of zooming out and in to any place in town, allowing them to see what is taking place. You'll be able to see other sims jogging on the sidewalks, sitting on benches in the park, or hanging out at the beach. Traveling is no longer a matter of leaving one area and suddenly appearing in another. Your sim can drive, call a cab, or even jog to the location if you choose. One minor drawback to the persistent town is how taxing it can be on the player's computer. Rendering an entire town at once is no small feat, but avoiding it altogether because of that would have been a mistake. There were also improvements made to the "create-a-sim" tools. Players can now customize their sims' initial physical characteristics, clothing styles, and personality traits to a level of detail greater than before. Varied hairstyles, clothing options for different occasions, and customizable patterns and color options are just a few examples of the ways in which players can create unique-looking sims. Once finished with the appearance aspect, however, The Sims 3 has added personality traits, which allow players to determine how their sim behaves and reacts with other sims. Picking certain traits unlock different options for communicating with other sims and can even impact what types of careers the sim will excel at. And, for every positive trait there is a negative trait, so it is entirely possible to create some truly diabolical or demented sims. The rewards system in The Sims 3 is also a nice change. When creating sims, players will have to select a long-term goal, which the sim will strive to meet. Moreover, during the game players will be able to choose up to four short-term goals for their sim to complete. Some goals are as simple as taking out the trash or reading a book, while others may be a little more complex, such as discovering another sim's personality traits. When completed, each short-term goal adds life-time happiness points to the sim's happiness meter. Once enough happiness points are accumulated, the player can spend them on lifetime rewards that can benefit the sim. For example, accumulating 10,000 points allows the player to unlock the "Steel Bladder" reward, which means their sim won't have to go to the bathroom as often. There is no penalty incurred for not completing a short-term goal, and even if a goal has been set, it can be dropped and replaced by another one at any time, allowing players to change their minds and still dictate what happens. ‘The Sims 4’ Release Date PS4, Xbox One: ‘No Plans’ For A Console Version Confirmed. Expect loads of new content in the coming months. EA. In September, it will be two years since EA released The Sims 4 . For the past three iterations of the game a console release followed just over a year later, but not this time. If this tweet from Sims Producer Lyndsay Pearson is any indication, there are absolutely no plans to release The Sims 4 for consoles such as the Xbox One or Playstation 4 in the foreseeable future. “I want to clarify that we have no plans for a console version of The Sims 4 anytime in the near future. Ignore the rumors,” Pearson tweeted. The first sign of delay came with a mysterious claim EA was having difficulty porting the game for consoles. With each day came new fan speculation, including that EA may be waiting for the next generation of consoles to release. Another theory was that EA was foregoing a TS4 console version altogether in favor of developing The Sims 5, which is still years away from a release date. Pearson’s recent comment suggests all this speculation is unfounded, and she says to ‘ignore the rumors.’ While The Sims is and always has been a PC game, the fact EA has ‘no plans’ to release TS4 comes as news to Sims fans who were expecting to be able to play with a remote control. It’s unclear what Pearson means by saying ‘anytime in the near future’ after saying there are ‘no plans.’ Do you think a console version is still on the table down the line?
