UNBIASED AND TRUTHFUL (AS POSSIBLE) REVIEW.
Let me start off by saying that, yes, this game is plagued with bugs, server issues, and crashing. Somehow it manages to bypass these issues with really fun and challenging asymetrical multiplayer. It might be the lore or the fact that this game brings you together with friends in a way I haven't experienced before but you will enjoy yourself even with these issues the game has. I don't want to excuse the developers for releasing an unfinished game but try not to listen to the lower rated reviews for this game because they're written by people who can't provide pros and cons. This game has many cons but there are a lot of pros as well and if your thinking about buying just understand what the game is right now and if that doesn't bother you then go ahead do it or if you want to wait for a game with less issues then wait for future patches. Choice is yours!

When it's fixed 5 star easy.
this game had a seriously rough start still has alot of bugs but servers are working now and when you can play there's no game more fun in my opinion. the game looks great the concept is spot on.. this game is everything Evolve wanted to be seriously fun everybody verses the monster. and when the monster is Jason Voreese the unstoppable killer of camp counselors it just Kills. every game is scary and funny at the same time, if Game of the Year was elected by how fun it is. and they iron out all the bugs this game would be my pick hands down Gun Media, and Illfonic two small Development teams should be commended for the hard work they put in over the long weekend to get the game working and for keeping everyone up to date on how things were coming along. The big triple A developers could learn a thing or two when they release their broken games. Keep up the good work Gun Media and Illfonic 👏👏👏👍

Fun, but needs work.
The game's great when it works. Right now I'd say 1 out of every 3 games someone gets disconnected. Half the time when I get to play as Jason it crashes. Quickmatch is still not perfect. Sometimes you get in a full room, others it's just you waiting. The game glitches out randomly. You'll get killed in a cabin and end up outside. There are still some exploits that I see people using, but the majority of players are just on to have a good time and want to play fair. The game was probably rushed out because of Dead by Daylight releasing so close to it. It's fun, but is still suffering from a lot of issues. So you're probably thinking 3 stars is a bit generous, but I honestly love everything about the game when it's working. It's a lot of fun when everyone is communicating and working together to try to escape or survive. It's just as fun playing as Jason and trying to kill everyone. Without the problems, I'd give it 5 stars easily. Hopefully the developers work all the kinks out soon.

Love this game, except.
This is a great game when it works. Between disconnecting games, full game crashes and quick play not working/taking five minutes plus, this game has major issues. But when I can get in a lobby that is stable this game becomes highly addictive. In all, 4 stars with its current state and is a must play.

Worth buying!
This game deserves a better rating! Ive played this game for a long time now and I just love it. Everytime you play a match. It feels completely different! you never get a match that feel the same because youll never know when jason is coming after you. It can happen at any moment. Youll never know what you will find because sometimes you find the stuff you need in your area but sometimes you dont. Also if you hide. Youll never know if he will find you or not (TIP: stats and perks do matter/help in the game) and youll never know if you be able to Escape or not! Because sometimes jason gets everone and sometimes jason doesnt or sometimes players think for their selves and sometimes they help you. You never know and it gives you a accurate feeling like your in a actual horror movie! Its a actually well bounce game too! but the game does crash sometimes and there are some glitches but youll see them rarely and quick play does work now! The game will continue to get better❤

Servers are nightmare!
The game is highly enjoyable, whe you can actually play that is. 4/5 games you'll lag out of because only private matches work so it's the host connection that ultimately decides wether or not you'll get to play. Quick play doesn't work so you have to find a group to play with. Look. I get it. this was a kickstarter game made by a small team of people, but that doesn't change the fact that this game is nearly unplayable, so if you're deciding if you should drop $40 on this game DON'T, wait until they roll out new patches.

Great Game, Bad Servers.
The game has three different map, a variety of customizable counslers, and a good number of Jasons with different pros and cons. The worst thing about the game is it's servers. Just keep in mind its made by an indie company of 10 people and they're trying their best to fix the issue.

Overall a fun game but still is broken.
Great, fun game full of excitement and thrills. It keeps you on edge the entire match and you're constantly looking over your shoulder for Jason. But the real fun comes when you get to be Voorhees, teleporting right next to your friend and punching their head off is quite the experience. However, this game can sometimes be relatively annoying due to terrible glitches, bugs, broken abilities, and most importantly the servers.

5 Stars. Why.
This game has many issues that need to be fixed. The most common issue is the insane amount of crashes that you go through. Now you're probably wondering why I gave this game 5 stars if it has a lot of issues. I think that if you have patience and can get pass the bugs and crashes then you will absolutely love this game. It's thrilling, scary and always keeps the heart pumping. Friday The 13th is everything you want it to be. Props to Gun Media and ILLFonic for such a piece of art and great support. These devs actually listen. 👍🙂🙂

Addicting but annoying.
This game would get a 5 stars for the variety of Counslors and Jasons, not to mention the thrill and horror feel to the game is amazing but far too often I or the host of the game gets lagged out or you get kicked from the game for connection issues when there are none which makes trying to enjoy the game very difficult and tedious. otherwise the game is phenomenal with thrills at every turn and a constant fear of being found that makes your heart stop with countless ways of escaping. fix the connectivity issues and you have a 5 star game (very good community as well)

About This Game.
Summary Features Game Editions.
Jason is out to get you in Friday the 13th: The Video Game, a terrifying game based on the slasher film franchise. Stalk camp counselors across Crystal Lake as Jason Voorhees, or assume the role of a helpless camper and attempt to survive the night.
The multiplayer component to the game pits one player as Jason against up to seven people as counselors. While Jason can be an immensely daunting, seemingly unstoppable force, he is able to be brought down with an ‘epic’ win condition. It’ll be difficult, require some teamwork, and perhaps a bit of ingenuity, but we’ll be giving you the tools and opportunities to realize the biggest win in horror gaming. That sense of relief at the end, knowing you stopped the biggest and baddest killer in the world is not something to take lightly . and lest you be worried, Jason will always come back for more!
Play as Jason Voorhees - The game you’ve been waiting for; you’ll be stalking the shadows and picking off each and every counselor as the most feared name in horror, Jason Voorhees! When playing as Jason, you make the decision of how to go about setting up and performing each kill! The game gives you a slew of abilities to terrify, harass and then brutally dispatch those opposing you. Counselors: Fight or Flight - Jason is deadly, but he can be stopped! The movie does have to end, right? You and your fellow counselors will have a multitude of ways to escape from Jason while in Camp Crystal Lake. Not satisfied with simply running? You’ll have the opportunity to try and take Jason out. Be warned, Jason won’t go down easy, and nothing is a sure thing. Make Your Own Horror - Camp Crystal Lake, Jason Voorhees and a lot of horny teenagers makes for a lot of good stories. A ‘Movie Trailer’ system plays at the end of the match, highlighting the best moments of every game, in the style of the original 1980’s trailers! Each and every time you play Friday the 13th, you’ll be creating your own little movie. Share your best trailers online with others, or watch the community's dark, grisly, or even hilarious trailers. Fear System - Jason Voorhees strikes fear into every single person he comes across, and while many bravely attempt to take him on, most fail. The fear of never knowing where Jason is at any given time is powerful, and counselors will have to do everything they can to mitigate that fear while playing. Get too struck with fear and you’ll start to question what’s real and what isn’t. Progression - Friday the 13th is a long-running franchise, one with a whole cast of characters. Players will get a unified progression system to unlock multiple Jason character models from the classic films, as well as additional Camp Counselors with their own unique stats and traits.

Here’s Exactly When You’ll Be Able to Play ‘Friday the 13th: The Game’
We thought we weren’t getting a new Friday the 13th this year. We thought we’d never see Kane Hodder play Jason Voorhees again. We’re happy to say we were wrong.
Tomorrow, May 26th , marks the long awaited release of Friday the 13th: The Game , which Gun Media and developer Illfonic are bringing to Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Steam as a digital download ahead of a physical release that’s coming later this year. But when will you be able to play? Well, it depends on how you’re playing.
We’ve just learned that the game will hit the following platforms at the following times:
Friday the 13th: The Game gives you the opportunity to finally be Jason Voorhees; stalk camp counselors across Crystal Lake as Jason, or assume the role of a helpless camper and attempt to survive the night. Kane Hodder performed the motion capture for Jason, Tom Savini designed the kills, and Harry Manfredini provided the music!
The game’s single-player component is expected in the Summer.
AROUND THE WEB.
Really conflicted about picking this up. I’m obsessed with F13 but this feels like I’m plunking down full price for what is openly half of the game. No guarantee the other half ever arrives.
I think I’ll end up waiting for physical release.
Want to get it, but due to the holiday weekend release I will be passing for now since I will be out of town. Don’t see the point in purchasing tomorrow when I won’t even be able to play it this weekend (and with my work schedule I won’t get to play it for the next few weeks after that)
I’m waiting to see what the reaction/reviews are like first. I really hope it’s good. I also want the single player component. It’s a wait and see for me but fingers crossed.
The game is fun. I played the beta and it does a great job of capturing the F13 feel. Jason is very OP, like he should be, but the survivors can be powerful if they know what to do. I recommend getting it.
Well I guess there no need to stay up to midnight, but I’m ready to play.
40 bucks isn’t a lot for a full game, u do have to have internet. Single player will be available this summer!
I wouldn’t count on it. It IS summer, and they have barely said a word about it. Expect a huge single player delay.
They’ve talked about it a ton. Single player is coming this summer (which begins on June 21).
actually Summer is a MONTH away.. and runs for THREE more months after.. so if they’ve announced nothing by Sept. 22 then you can say something about that.. IT IS SPRING TIME.. look at a calendar.
They really fucked over the backers during development. We weren’t prioritized and everything that was supposed to be Kickstarter exclusive (the beta, skins, savini Jason) were made available to the public. Updates to the project were released online days before they told the backers, and they lied about the release date being “early 2017”. Now streamers who have at least five people who watch them are getting the game for free, three days before the game releases. In the end backers were treated like people who pre ordered a Call of Duty. Some people haven’t even gotten their fuckin steam keys yet.
Agreed. I think backers should have been given access a couple of days earlier compared to the general release date, especially since it was the backers who made the game possible. PS4 players have to wait longer then PC and XBONE players which to be fair isn’t the developers fault. However, I’m not sure what time I’ll be able to access it as I’m in the UK and they only gave US release times. Plus I have to go to work on release day so if they don’t make it available 8AM over here, I have to wait till the end of my work day before I can start playing.
lol people complaining aint Friday fans, go play the old NES game if you’re not happy. Real fans would be too amazed that this exists and the attention to detail that they wouldn’t have time to complain.
I’m a backer do you hear me complaining about skins -_- This isn’t fucking Call Of duty get the fuck over it children.
It’s not just the skins, child, it’s everything else I said too. Wake up sheeple, or sheeperson, whatever the fuck the singular is of sheeple.
LOL people still care about CoD that shit died years ago. Run around. Duck like a pussy. Shoot. Die. Respawn LOL everythings brown and gray, the music sucks, and there is no 1 character to route for, its just stock soldiers.
Im conflicted as well, on one hand the huge F13 fan in me is screaming “Get the game!” But the gamer in me is whispering “Its online multiplayer mostly which you know you dont like” so im on the fence about it, probably gonna wait for the single player component. Plus if i got on a server with someone claiming to be a F13 fan but then find out they really aren’t and just playing cause its “cool” at the moment (like when a movie is in theaters) id be mad as hell.
Lol.. “Plus if i got on a server with someone claiming to be a F13 fan but then find out they really aren’t and just playing cause its “cool” at the moment (like when a new is in theaters) id be mad as hell.”
This quite possibly the saddest thing I have read all week XD XD Like someone playing a game diminishes your experience because they havnt watched Friday The 13th since 1979. I’d be mad as hell if i got onto a server with some fucking hipster thinking he is better than everyone else because he seen a movie before the game came out. Best part about this is you clearly didnt even back it on kickstarter, for claiming to be such a massive fan, well, its clear you are not.
Some people are not rich, some people are just barely surviving. I would’ve gladly backed it if i had money to do so. I am a huge fan i have all the movies on VHS and DVD, some Jason figures, most of the books, and couple really cool framed pictures. I just didn’t have the money for the game right now but i plan on buying it soon as possible. I just don’t like people who claim to be a fan of something but then they don’t really know much about it. Sorry if i hate posers.
You can afford ALL THAT cool F13 stuff…. but you couldn’t afford to back the game? LOL. Okay then. Suuuuure.
Well i also didn’t like the way they were selling it. Trust me i aint trying to argue. I am a fan just like you though. I bought that stuff thorough the years when i had the money. The last year or so money has been tight.
Look, you have no excuse for not backing the game. I sold a kidney to put up money for this game. You do what you have to do 😉
That’s right, i went without my meds to back the game! Hey….. did u hear that?
back in the day when that stuff came out wasnt as expensive as today.
I hope you’re only 15 because I just can’t handle a grown ass man saying “posers” and genuinely meaning it. What time are you meeting Avril at the mall?
Howdy… i got to play in the open beta for those few days and all these asshole ” pro ” gamers screaming and yelling in their headsets thinking they are the greatest was such an annoyance. what happens when the servers are shit down after people stop playing ?? out $ 40.00 bucks .. Not sure of the longevity of the online game.. I think after getting killed or killing counselors so many times it might get a little boring, but I will probably give it a chance 🙂
actualy hipster is someone who hasnt seen the movies just knows him from popular culture, they are posers who wear shirts of shit they dont know. maybe they caught the VS movie or 2009 at late on cable but that is their only brush with it lol.
If you’re a Friday fan, it’s a no-brainer buy. You’ll enjoy it. Best way to avoid online idiots is to play a few matches and note who is playing the right way and who isn’t. Network with good players and have private matches. I was able to do this in the beta and had a way better experience than wasting time with shitheads who just wanted to run around and be douchebags.
I was able to get a beta key from some online streaming girl during the open beta and shit, the beat key worked and I played a few times.. cant say the experience was great because of all the asshole gamers out there screaming constantly into their pc headets thinking they are the best players in the world , etc kind of ruined the experience for me ..
Just gotta get good. Most of them were making videos on the Beta they need to talk loud for their mics to mic them up. As someone who makes videos here and there I can back it up I always have to hell into my mic for Elgato to pick me up.
Js not that they think they’re good. Children these days bitch about the smallest shit it makes me sad to have gamers like that in our community.
Exactly why I love the mute feature 😉
So you like not playing with people? Doesn’t that get boring. Idk if your a true fan you’ll try it. I tried the beta and loved it.
Where those haters at? “Gun are scammers! They’ve stolen everyone’s money! The game doesn’t exist!” Stupid bastards. Party tonight at midnight.
He’ll yeah! ……. wait shit, I gotta wait until 11 am est!
those crooks took our money for backing up a game and made the game with it.. how dare they! we didn’t get our free stuff. fuck the game I want my XXL Friday game shirt and my Hockey Mask Yo-Yo that one of the bald dudes at Gun Media signed.
I’ll wait and buy the physical copy of the game that has the single player.
It’s just going to be a free update. So you’ll get it at the same time regardless.
Physical will also be $20 more.
Now they’re saying everyone will get single player free.
backers backed it up to support the game not to get free stuff.
That’s ok I can afford it.
If you wanna pay an extra 20 dollars go ahead not our money your wasting xD Tf Bitch somewhere else children.
if you worry about playing with morons you should quiz them friday 13th trivia, if they dont get atleast 4 of them right leave the server and find another with fans lol.
I prefer physical copies myself. for download/online only games ,you are renting it, not buying it.
the game wont work. everyones gonna wana be jason. so won’t be any counselors to hunt.
That’s not how the game works.
Randomly chooses obviously you’ve seen no gameplay so before talking shit about it please get educated and watch some gameplay thanks.
hey goat fucker or what ever your name is. obviously you have bo idea what a joke is. so why dont you take your dick out of your hand. leave your parents basment. and go outside and get some education. be warmrd there will be this bright thing outside called the sun. and by the looks of your pasty ass you haven’t seen it in a while.
You visibly don’t know what a joke is either, since you didn’t make one; you just decided to be an edgelord and got called out for it.
um obviously i do seeing its only the little girls crying over it. seriously whats the main reason everone wants the game? jason? who does everyone want to play as? jason. if your that stupod then why are you on here? its obvious you dont meet the age requirements to have the game.
I’ve been watching a lot of livestreams of this game until I decide to get it myself and no, not everybody wants to play as Jason. Plenty of people are happy to let the game choose who gets to be Jason and the rest play survivors because both sides are fun. It’s a part of the leveling system.
Looks cheap. The graphics look blocky like a psone game.
Obviously you have never seen gameplay look up KYRsp33dy he has some clips kid.
1. it is cheap.. its made by a bunch of guys on fan funds. What are you expecting? the quality of a EA game made by 20000 people?
2. ‘looks cheap’ re-watch the movies, they were cheap too, the gore was laughable (Rick’s eye in 3, severed heads in 7 etc etc) that is the fun of it.
3. So you’re expecting state of the art CoD crap? Why are you so obsessed with video games replicating reality? The point is to escape reality not like shut-in losers like you who want a super realistic game to replace your actual life.
4. Graphics have NOTHING to do with enjoyment. The original Doom and Wolfenstein will always be superior to Halo and CoD and Pac Man will be remembered and enjoyed long after all of this disposable PlayStation garbage has been buried. Deal with it.
5. You’ve clearly never played the PlayStation one, probably a kid born in the late 90’s and just heard about that console but never actually played it.
Also, what is wrong with ‘psone games’ ?? I believe the PS1 had superior games to all the other successor consoles. Many of them have much high replay value and could be picked up and played right now and still be enjoyed. What is wrong with that seriously?
Oddworld: Abes Oddysee is arguably one of the best video games of all time, not just the play station. And when they made that game in 1997 there was 3D technology, they opted to do it in 2D saying “Graphics don’t make the game, the gameplay does” and they were right.
Well I think the comment was more directed to the graphics…which, unless they were looking at footage through a vasoline covered lens, do not look like PSOne era titles.
It came out midnight UK time and I have been playing it a bunch. It’s good fun and I ain’t seeing myself getting bored any time soon.
I do think they treated backers pretty poorly though. Giving freebies to streamers and allowing them to gain the upperhand and upload content feels a bit like a slap in the face for backers, tgere would be no game for streamers without the backers. I know it’s to get the game out there but it seems it would have been fairest to just release it, the hype from beta was big enough imo.
Youtubers had the Beta you don’t pay attention do you??
Hey queef boy, quit masturbating to gay porn. Go out of mommy and daddy’s house and get some fresh air. People are communicating on her for information to pass along. Go fuck off if your gonna be a smart ass to everyone!
Beta is totally different. It was given away for play testing and you could get that through being a backer. It was released 3 days early for youtube and twitch streamers.
I pay plenty of attention, thanks.
It came out midnight UK” creepy! made me think black n white gothic horror, foggy london town ..o ooo giving me chills.
Shit I’m in indiana they said on the forum 8 pst, which is 11 am my time. It’s midnight got eyes early but get this. No ditial key for jason/ savini skin! Says there gonna get it too us as soon as they can.
So why complain when they already told you you’re getting it?? For me it’s not showing at all that is was released so be lucky you get to play it kid. -_-
No kid im 44, and was probably watch Jason when u were a strain on the mattress. Don’t think I was ask for any smart ass feed back! I just wanted people to know in case they were waiting on the ps4 to download.
“44, and was probably watch Jason when u were a strain on the mattress” Yep. Maturity and rage in this response checks out.
I’m in Indiana as well.
Groovy I’m in Elkhart, where u at?
Way down south in crawford county, near corydon Indiana (first state capitol)
Groovy, u have ps4?
then run from boulder.
When will i be able to play This game for Xboxone Pacific Time.
Well it says 12am est, which is 9 pst, so if u haven’t gotten a code yet bro is go on Twitter and let them know what’s going on.
What code how do you get one feel like I missed something.
People like me who preordered the game awhile back got codes emailed to us. If u didn’t preorder I don’t know when u can purchase it?
I still don’t see it on xbox.
Me either do you see it yet.
You have to go to the Microsoft store.
So I’m in CST when should I be able to download it?
Nothing in Miami yet I have it on the store right now PS4.
PS4 – Pass, not shelling out on a console that will be inferior in a few weeks, made that mistake on ps1 and ps2 that are now collecting dust and nobody wants them.
XBOX One – Pass, what happened to 3’60? Yet another Xbox model? Lol idiots can’t just make a console that can be upgraded, rather they make you go out an buy whole new ones.
I guess i’ll just watch some YT videos of it to see what it is like.
umm cant the same thing be said about t.v. and phones? cant really upgrade have to get new.
thats why i dont use both of them. they could do they, they just make us go out buy new ones, not only because the new one can do more stuff, but because if we are seen with an older model people in our work place will start mocking us. It is all about that haha.
“idiots can’t just make a console that can be upgraded”
So pretty much a PC then?
lol thats how they make their money make you go out buy it again and again like those iphones instead of just giving some chip or something that upgrades it or take it to a shop to put in new parts.
That has been done before and failed. Upgrading existing consoles isn’t a viable money making strategy. Look at the N64 Expansion Pak(needed to run only 3 games), Sega CD and the 32X for the Genesis, Ram expansions for the Saturn.
It comes down to two different demographics of gamers. PC gamers are used to and prefer to upgrade their tech and mess with settings and speed.
Console buyers(including parents of children and some technology ignorant individuals) want to buy something and not have to worry about buying anything else other than just games. Parents don’t want to be told they have to keep buying new components just so their kid can play a new Mario game. Trust me, working a Toys R Us at Christmas and explaining to a parent the need of memory card because their child will not be able to save their game on Christmas morning was annoying enough.
At least the current console generation is a bit slower on the upgrades. Sure I can buy a PS4 Pro or the Xbox Scorpion when it comes out, BUT I don’t need to. The same games will work on both.
When will i be able to play This game for Xboxone Pacific Time.
I have always been a console player, and For about 15 years or so I was big into PC gaming as well. I got tired up upgrading my computer every few months to keep up with the latest games. When i added it all up, PC gaming was costing me more.
As far as support, the last PS2 game came out in Sept 2014, PS4 came out in Nov 2014. So Ps2 lasted almost 14year. PS3 came out in 06, and games are still being made.
PS2 was inferior in 2 weeks? Hmm, pretty sure they supported that console for a decade. As well as the PS3. Sounds like you dont like consoles or PC…so why are you here?
just a joke, but the point was everytime I get hyped to get new console, they bring another sequel console out and the other ones price goes from 100 to 1 cent after that and just sits in a cupboard. I didn’t do it this time for ps4 because I gurantee we’ll see the next evolution soon and people would be laughing at me for having ‘an old crappy ps4’ soon.
Hey guys this game is a blast, wish i would have gotten code for savini skin. But besides that in my opinion it’s worth 40 bucks. Once again for the trolls, in my opinion!
Still not available on Xbox, da fuck Squires?! I stayed up till midnight for nothin.
Bunch of fucking pussies complaining about different systems. Just play the fucking game and have fun. Eat a dick about whos is better. PS4 here and hope I dont play any of you whining assholes.

100% Down. BludCRIMSON is I. See ya on the killing field.
I’m not getting the game until Sunday, out of town, but when I get back if you want more in your party you can find me at psuson.

Hey man, sent u a friend request! Maybe play private match sometime on Friday with a few others. Lot of dumb asses out there.
Hey bro, I sent u a friend request!
Me either does anyone see it.
Does anyone know how to get the code.
For ps4 go to the store, at the bottom of menu it will say redeem codes. Hit on that and put in code u received by email. I not sure about other consoles.
My bad I didn’t answer your question correctly. People like me who preordered revived codes my email. Really not sure when it’s available to purchase? Probably f13.com might have some info.
Man, game is a blast! Got to play 3 times this morning, after that the game kicked me out of a game and I can’t get the game to connect to internet! Anybody else having this problem?
It won’t let me connect either.
The server is down, they can’t handle all the people. It’s their fault not ours.
It won’t let me connect I haven’t played once for Xbox btw what the hell.
People online are saying the fuckin server is down! Probably too many people at once, it can’t handle it. Can’t believe this!
Just picked it up and tried playing, no dice , so maybe later. I thought there was supposed to be single player, or was that just for preorders?
Single player is a add sometime this summer.
Ah , thanks for the info.
Yes sir, and if by chance your ps4, I’m cgenth! Friend me well game together!
All the game does for me on xbox one is search for sessions…
There’s so many people the system is over loaded. I can’t get that far. The game won’t connect to the server.
The Xbox should be patched in the next two days kinda got fucked due to the holiday.
Ok haven’t been able to play all day cause damn server was down. Gun media supposedly has server back up then the game froze on me! I can’t believe they weren’t prepared for all the people wanting to play.
If i had someone let me download it to my system i would play with ya.
My PSN is MugiLOKI, if anyone is interested in playing on PS4, you can ADD me. Won’t mind, thanks. 😀
I’ll add u bro! Play some private matches! I’m cgenth I will send u a friend request here shortly.
When I get on, I’ll play. 😀
I added both y’all need friends to play this game match making sucks be lucky to even play mine RAY_BABY_NRS.
We can play the game…in two or three weeks after they’ve fixed the servers. Right now i’m out 40 bucks and have no game to play. It’s sucks because I at least liked to get wined and dined before getting FUCKED.
lol 30 fps on ps4 fuck this game…worst than beta. All the maps is the same thing fucking hell!!37€ for a shit! Dead by daylight is better .
I still want this game tho.
It’s so much fun. Too much maybe.

Friday the 13th has been plagued with a number of issues since it first launched in May, but a new patch will hopefully put many of its problems on Xbox One to bed. Developer IllFonic and publisher Gun Media have announced the update is out now and available to download on your Xbox One.
According to a joint statement from the two companies, the developer has "significantly reduced crash instances and performed a major sweep on bugs that have been persistent with the Xbox version." They went on to apologize for how long this patch has taken to arrive, before adding that they believe "this patch will greatly increase playability and bring the game in line with other platforms."
The patch notes are essentially a list of bug fixes that pertain to matchmaking, crashes, and more. Additionally the Xbox One's memory issues, which hindered a previous update from being released on time on the platform, have now been resolved. Take a look at the full patch notes at the bottom of this article.
In our Friday the 13th review, Peter Brown wrote, "As of now, a week after launch, it's short on content and performs poorly all around, especially on consoles. The story goes that the developers weren't prepared for amount of people who wanted to jump on day one, but that does little to assuage players who were convinced that they were paying for a finished product. Despite showing potential that may one day be realized, Friday the 13th comes across as an unfinished game that shouldn't have been released in its current state."
Friday the 13th: The Game Patch Fixes Various Technical Issues.
The developers behind Friday the 13th: The Game, have released a patch for PC and Xbox One.
The version 1.02 patch features a number of fixes for various in-game problems, including the infinite stamina glitch on PC and VoIP crashing on Xbox One. The full list of patch notes for PC can be found on the Steam community page, while the Xbox One notes are available on the Friday the 13th: The Game's Facebook.
General improvements have been included in the update, with a random option added to the PC lobby, as well as small visual improvements for both versions of the game.
The Xbox One version is also slated to move to a different matchmaking system to support a greater volume of players. In the meantime, overhauls to the current system should help to reduce matchmaking times, and the developer will continue working with Microsoft to implement the new system soon.
The team also says they're working on fixes for the PS4 version of the game right now.
Read IGN's Friday the 13th: The Game review to find out why its "lopsided gameplay and egregious bugs almost kill the mood of Jason's murder spree."

Why you shouldn't buy 'Friday the 13th' for Xbox One (at least for now)
Updated July 27, 2017: A new patch has released for the Xbox One version of Friday the 13th, with bug fixes and tweaks for a majority of issues seen at launch.
Late last week "Friday the 13th: The Game," a survival horror game based on the acclaimed franchise, released across console and PC. With influence from the feature films, the game takes advantage of asymmetrical multiplayer mechanics to pit Jason Voorhees against seven Camp Crystal Lake counselors. Using a similar core concept to games like "Evolve," one player takes control of the all-powerful killer while the remain seven must use the open world to survive by any means necessary.
After acquiring the rights to produce an officially-licensed game, Friday the 13th soon gained a fair amount of traction via crowdfunding sites. Between its Kickstarter and BackerKit listings, the game accumulated more than two million dollars in funding, drawing only more attention to the project going forward. With over twelve thousand backers on the Kickstarter alone, it's fair to say a reasonable amount of people are invested in the project.
Xbox One owners are running an older (and inferior) version of the game.
Now the release day has come and gone, Friday the 13th's launch has gone far from smoothly. Server issues have rendered matchmaking useless, a slew of bugs disrupt the core gameplay and at this point, opinions on the game are rather mixed. Even the game's distribution on Xbox One ended up being rather chaotic – going live on the console hours after the expected launch.
Since these launch issues, it's now come to light that Friday the 13th's Xbox One owners are running an older (and inferior) version of the game. As pointed out by a user on the official Friday the 13th forums, both PC and PlayStation 4 versions currently sport different assets and even some minor new features, leaving the Xbox One version as a clearly second-rate version. Founder and Creative Director at Gun, Wes Keltner, has since confirmed the game is yet to receive an approved day one patch, which brings the game up to a state they planned for launch. Although some of these issues may have been out of the developer's control, the game isn't rocking the best reputation right now.
Overall, Friday the 13th has suffered a messy release – and that not even touching on the gameplay it offers. There's an understandable amount of anger in the air from Kickstarter backers, as well as those who picked up the full-priced title at launch. And with the recent news of the Xbox One version, it's probably best to keep your distance until fixes have been rolled out.
Nevertheless, among these issues, it's reassuring to see the official Friday the 13th Twitter account active with status updates and support over the past few days. While some developers essentially go into hiding after a rough launch, it's nice to see a clear line of communication established with fans. This doesn't excuse the launch issues, but at least keeps players in the loop for what's to come.
According to the developer, the day one patch for the Xbox One version is currently undergoing certification from Microsoft. The patch has the potential to bring Xbox One owners onto a version similar to that on PlayStation 4 and PC and should fix several outstanding issues. Server tweaks are also supposedly on the way, which should elevate some of the problems currently plaguing all platforms.
For now, we'll simply have to wait and see how the game changes in the coming days – which really sucks because the game has true potential. But in its current state, Friday the 13th is one to avoid. And while it may be best to hold out for the forthcoming patch, don't forget self-service refunds recently hit the Xbox Store.
Friday the 13th Game: for PC.PS4, Xbox One.

It's a classic horror fan's dream, no shaky cam, no found footage. The developers want you to know Gun Media are revitalizing the golden era of slashers, and putting you at the controls of each horrific, blood-splattered moment.
Friday the 13th is the definition of horror to the millions of fans around the world. More About the Game.
Play as Jason Voorhees!
You get to play as Jason. You get to stalk camp counselors in Camp Crystal Lake and brutally kill in new and inventive ways (as well as some that will seem all too familiar). Grab a counselor in a choke hold, pick them up off the ground, and smash their face into a tree. Repeatedly. Or how about lifting a counselor up above your head as they kick and scream, holding them aloft long enough to walk near a rack of farm spikes to slam your victim down upon them? Yes, you get to do that because that's what Jason does. He's an unflinching, brutal killing force; the ultimate predator, and for the first time ever YOU control this horror icon.
Counselors: Fight or Flight.
Jason is deadly, but he can be stopped! The movie does have to end, right? You and your fellow counselors will have a multitude of ways to escape from Jason while in Camp Crystal Lake. Not satisfied with simply running? You'll have the opportunity to try and take Jason out. Be warned, Jason won't go down easy, and nothing is a sure thing.
Make Your Own Horror.
Camp Crystal Lake, Jason Voorhees and a lot of horny teenagers makes for a lot of good stories. The devs are going to be implementing a 'Movie Trailer' system that plays at the end of the match. This dynamic trailer will highlight the best moments of every game, in the style of the original 1980's trailers! Each and every time you play Friday the 13th, you'll be creating your own little movie. Beyond that, Gun Media plan to allow you to share your best trailers. Want to show Jason killing in dark, grisly, or even hilarious ways? Do it! Want to try to emulate the trailers from the original 80's films? Give it a go. The devs are eagerly anticipating some really gnarly cuts from the community's trailers!
Fear System.
Jason Voorhees strikes fear into every single person he comes across, and while many bravely attempt to take him on, most fail. The fear of never knowing where Jason is at any given time is powerful, and counselors will have to do everything they can to mitigate that fear while playing. Get too struck with fear and you'll start to question what's real and what isn't.
